Even though the VIP paperwork said they were in great and excellent condition, and the tank stickers said they had been o2 cleaned .This could have caused catastrophic failure due to them not being checked properly, or even caused harm to a person who using 100% oxygen to fill my tanks. When I went to discuss this with owner I was just dismissed as it was normal wear and tear., and was treated like.I did not know what I was talking about. Attached are pictures of the damage valves that were not inspected after hydro. If you had any tank service done from January 2025 I highly recommend you get a second opinion about your service

Caleb said his instruction was thorough and smooth and he enjoyed the entire process of classroom and pool dives. Doug and Dive Educators helped us complete the certification by allowing my son to do his 4 open water dives while on vacation in Aruba which was very convenient for our needs. We are excited because now my son can dive with me whenever we travel and plan on doing the scuba experience at Georgia aquarium. I was super nervous starting out, but he was patient, never rushed anything, and even took the time to show extra tips that helped a lot once I got out of the pool. It felt more like learning from a friend than a strict instructor. I did my OW and AOW dives with Howard, and he was great as well. During my OW weekend, I was still struggling a bit with buoyancy, and he didn't have to, but he even did an extra dive with me to work on PPB just so I could feel more confident. My first time in the ocean was with him too, and he always took the time to teach beyond the bare minimum. Shoutout to Stefan and James, who were also on some of my dives -- super helpful with little tips along the way. I started off nervous about diving and ended up with a new hobby and some new dive buddies. Highly recommend Dive Educators -- they genuinely care.

Not only was he polite and helpful, but there were no hidden costs, unlike other dive shops I spoke to previously. Throughout my certification process Jerry and VJ were exceptionally willing to accommodate my hectic schedule, they were thorough teachers making sure I not only knew the answers to their questions but also why, and I always felt safe in the water with them. Once it came time to get my basic gear, Jerry and VJ both went out of their way to let me try out some of their gear to make sure I got what I wanted. They even special ordered my gear in my preferred color. Besides being professional and helpful, Jerry and VJ are also very personable, fun, and have great dive stories! They made my dive experience a lot of fun. I will certainly continue on to my advanced certification with them as well as go to them for any future gear purchases or advice. I am so glad I decided to get certified with a smaller dive shop. I got a lot of 1 on 1 instruction because there was only 1 other person in my class. I have a busy schedule, so I appreciated the ability to complete the online learning on my own time, at my own pace. And do the pool dives in the middle of a weekday. Ben was incredibly helpful for my pool and open water dives. Obviously, he knows a ton about scuba. He always made sure I felt comfortable and safe during each of our dives. He took the knowledge I came in with and built from there. Whenever I struggled with a skill he knew how to aid and explain based on my knowledge and learning style. On my open water certification trip I had the opportunity to meet other divers from recently certified to seasoned veterans. I look forward to going on more dive trips and obtaining more certifications from Athens Scuba!

They have a variety of ongoing advanced classes AND amazing dive trips all around the world that I can't wait to join. This weekend I finished up a 10+ year goal of taking the open water diving certification and I couldn't have picked a better location. I bought a remarkably priced package they offer combining the course and equipment (fins, boots, snorkel, and mask). They also rent out gear for dive trips so you can have what you need without having to buy and dive with equipment you're familiar with. The pool for your class is huge. 1-2 lanes are about 10' deep and about 15 lanes are 4' deep. The instructors will start out in the 4' deep lanes and go over basics underwater so you're super comfortable. Then you'll have ample time in the 10' end so your confidence is built. It's shared with "Swim Atlanta" and conveniently located on the backside with their own shop connected to the large pool area. They are SSI and compatible with thousands of dive shops around the world. They can do "referrals" for your 4 checkout dives through another shop (you'll have to pay the other shop for the dives but you won't have to take the classroom, exam, and pool diving skills) OR you can preferably do your checkout dives with Dive Dive Dive on one of their trips. Enjoy it! You won't regret it.
