I had almost fooled myself into believing that they were toast and that was a good enough reason for me to go in debt and replace them. After speaking with my man Javi (Store manager) I decided to allow Luminex the opportunity to bring them back to life with a new gun metal powder coat with clear. Might as well go ahead and have them put some Candy Apple Red on the brake calipers while exposed. Couldn't be more happy with the finish product. I texted the main number and got an immediate call back from Mo over at Luminex who apologized and ask me to come to the Luminex shop and they would get me taken care of. The shops are within a mile of each other so no trouble at all. I purchased a Groupon for the Nano Ceramic on the front two windows. I saw a previous review that stated Groupons can only be used during the week. I did not have this experience. There were no issues using it at all. Note: Groupons are good for I believe 35% tinting. You can upgrade this for$50. Mo was great in showing me all options and even let me look through the back windows of his car so I could see the amount of light blockage. It was overcast at the time so it was super helpful because it made me realize, what I wanted to do for my back windows would be much too dark for my vision issues and night time driving. He wasn't pushy or tried to upsell aggressively as some places normally would. In the end, I decided to only do my front windows and windshield to start with. I wanted all windows to be uniform so did 20% on the front windows to match the back, 70% on the windshield and added a 5% strip in the top 6 inches of the windshield. Great news is that there's a 3 year warranty! So I was able to purchase worry free! The windshield was $175 and the added strip was $50. The prices are great in comparison to what I've paid for tinting on other SUVs. From the outside it looks excellent. From the inside you definitely feel the temperature and light difference. Right now it still needs to cure so there are some blurry spots but I was assured with leaving it in the sun for as long as I can this would clear up. Tips I was given was to not roll the windows down, don't use the defroster, and only use the foot level AC for a few days. It's also really nice they placed a DO NOT ROLL DOWN sticker across the window buttons as a reminder. If the tinting doesn't clear up, I'll comeback and amend the review but I have all faith that they will be great! Thanks, Mo! Their app is easy to use and they allow you to select one of their preferred shops or one to your liking. I chose this location as one of their preferred shops as they were close to home and had an available appointment in the morning. When I arrived the front desk receptionist informed of their process and I handed over my keys. They had enterprise onsite so I had no issues with pickup and drop off. The service advisor told me about the process, did a walk through with me around the car and answered and addressed my follow up questions. I did experience two issues when trying to pick up my vehicle. One time I was told the vehicle was done. When I called back to let them know I was on the way, they advised it would be ready the next day. The next day (Friday) I called to confirm the car was ready I was told it was. When I arrived I was told the part had just come in and they were putting it together then. So as you can imagine - I'm annoyed lol As for the service itself, the guys were really nice! But I was told initially that they would put it together, send to Mercedes to make sure the calibration was correct and would detail the car out. The advisor did tell me I can bring it back so I will update once I see them on Friday. However, I left unsatisfied. 2/9/24 update: They delivered as promised! They took their time and fixed everything so as I promised - I am giving them a 5 star review. Service adviser was great!
