Update: about to have to payout another $2,700 to get my roof repaired due to a drip edge not being installed properly by this company, which caused water damage into my home as well.

On June 12, 2019 we met Harold (a project manager from Blue Rain), who did a great job detailing the work that would be done and answering any and all of our questions and concerns we had, and then he promised we would be taken care of promptly and he would get back with us within the week. Our hopes and expectations were high, it took 2 months of rescheduling and many many phone calls from me to get them out to my home to actually start the job. They love to tell you they will call you back tomorrow or promise they will be out next time and then never follow through. Once the work began it was completed quickly, but their cleanup was shoddy at best, I found nails and debris from the roof all around my house after wrapped up the job. Supposedly, they did a final walkthrough of the work, but I never spoke with anyone nor did they attempt to contact me. At this point the roof and gutters were done and I hoped this experience was behind us, but on May 22, 2020 I noticed wet spots on the ceiling, walls, and in a few spots on the floor upstairs after a heavy rain, so I called blue rain to report a leak. Terri promised to have somebody out right away and that David(the owner) would contact me by the end of the day, he didn't, but they had a roofer out to look at the room around 6pm. I showed the roofer the damages and he said "there's no way it's from the roof", I told him that I wants him to check the roof for any leaks for damages, so he did. He comes back down and shows me a picture of the caulking around one of the vents that had a huge gap in it and was obviously leaking. So he re caulked the gap and told me he needed to call David and he would let me know what the next step would be. The guy made his phone call and then just left without saying anything.
I called the blue rain office and spoke to Terri many many times trying to get some kind of follow up regarding the water damage to my home to no eval. I was promised call backs and appointments for them to come assess the damages at least 3 times, only to be no call/no showed. Eventually, Terri the secretary at blue rain got tired of me calling and she gave me David's (the owner) cell number. So I tried calling/texting him several times and eventually he sent out a guy to assess the damages. After his first appointment being missed no call/no show again, the guy showed up mid June (about a month after I first reported the leak). He was actually very thorough and agreed that all the damages he found were indeed caused by blue rain and probably occurred due to them hastily applying the caulking around the vent on the roof because it wasn't an uncommon issue. He told me he would speak to David about it and David should get back with me by the end of the day. David never called. Once again I tried calling/texting David (the owner) for at least 2 weeks before making contact and he said "he would get back with us and not to worry, because he would get us taken care of".
July 27, 2020: after yet another 2 weeks with no communication from blue rain whatsoever, I finally got a hold of David (the owner). I asked if the guy who assessed the damages had gotten with him in regards to moving forward with the repairs to my home and he said "...he's no longer with the company...", so I asked if he had made a decision as to whether or not they would move forward with repairs. He said he was having trouble with his computer and he couldn't pull up my file, but he was going to send out 2 guys to look at the damages and the roof, so I asked him what day and what time? He said he would get back with me on that tomorrow because he couldn't get his computer to work. So I said okay, I'll talk to you tomorrow.
July 28, 2020: no response from David (the owner) or anyone else at blue rain.
July 29, 2020: no response from David (the owner) or anyone else at blue rain.
July 30, 2020: no response from David (the owner) or anyone else at blue rain.
July 31, 2020: Terri called my wife to ask if we are available August 6, 2020 for their new assessor/subcontractor to come out and look at the damages. She didn't know what time or if it would even be Thursday (August 6, 2020) for certain and she will call us back Monday (August 3, 2020) to confirm....
August 17, 2020: Over 2 weeks have passed and still no word from David or anyone else at Blue Rain, literally the most unprofessional and juvenile company I've ever made the mistake of doing business with.
I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy!!!! read more
