I went to this car wash for the very first time today. while pulling up to the wash entrance the wokers started cleaning my vehicle one young lady hit my rain deflector with the car wash brush and broke it. when i told her she got the manager he claims it was already broken. mind you the broken piece was in her hand!! the manager proceded to tell me it was already broken and basically they werent responsible. i will be contact consumer affairs awful car wash and i will not be back again!! read more

Absolutely unacceptable. Blue Rain Express tried to charge me $3 for each floor mat just to pressure wash them -- a basic service that most places include. There was no upfront notice about this excessive fee. It feels dishonest and like they are taking advantage of customers. I will not be returning. read more

I give this place a 2 because one young man actually acknowledged me. The person at the window obviously didn't want to be at work the way he slammed the window open and acted like I was interrupting his free time. When I pulled my car in, the young man guiding me was very polite. He smiled and made us feel our presence wasn't a nuisance. If corporate reads this, he had curly hair dyed blue and he deserves a raise! read more

This place is getting old really fast. The rinse towards the end of the wash is quick. Use to get a decent rinse but now it just trickles down and they use the blower to get the soap off. Leaves car spotty. read more

Unfavorable result of car damage claim. They deny fault though their failed equipment and poor directions on the part of their staff were proximate cause. Drying cloths leave residue on glass, have to bring my own microfiber. Many vacuums are weak. I will not return. Cancelling two service contracts. read more

My experiences coming to this carwash have all been good. When I drive up to the selection screen an attendant has always been willing to help me select a carwash or use the touchscreen for me if I don't want to touch it. In my experience I have always had pleasant interactions with the employees. The only minor annoyance that makes me cringe is once in the carwash there's a part where 2 spinning brushes usually push my side view mirrors out in a way where I hope they don't rip them off my truck even after I fold them in before entering the car wash. Another thing I do like is that if you get your carwash there and it rains within a day you can come back with your receipt the next day to get the same carwash at no charge (it states that on your receipt). read more

I went through the Highway 31 Pelham car wash today. My truck came out very clean and I was please with the overall outcome. I also use the Mark 1 car wash in Pelham for several years now. The Blue Rain car wash had clean rags and cleaner available which has not been available at the Mark 1 car wash for quiet some time. I noticed that several people complained about the Blue Rain but failed to say which one. Is the big complaint about the 280 wash or the Pelham wash? Just wondering. read more

Still not impressed! Actually disappointed that I spent $10(more than the first time) on this carwash. I got a nice email in response to my last review encouraging me to return on a different day. Indeed I brought my business back and spent more money. This time I chose after work on a Friday evening, the line moved much smoother though well populated. Once I finished pre-soaking my car, I was first in line (yippe skippy!) So why am I disappointed you ask....I have white water stains on my car after pulling out of the lot. If I wanted to wipe my car down with a rag to ensure no stains remained.....I would have, but that's why the carwashes exists, right?! It's a convenience I enjoy, being able to pull in and out & be done. I guess I'll revert back to washing my car at home or takin it down the street to a different wash. I took my car to the 280 location and it didn't come out clean. This was during the Covid 19 and the female worker told me it didn't get clean because I didn't buy a better wash. She came right up to my window after I asked her to stay 6 feet away and was very rude! When I asked who was the owner she said Brad. Refused to help me clean off the windshield so I left. Kindness goes a long way and is so important during these times. Below was the worst apology I've ever seen! Btw, I love how the assistant manager said she was going to offer another wash but could not grab a rag and cleaner to just wipe away the bugs. I didn't ask for a whole new wash, just can someone wipe the bugs off the windshield? Johniece was going to offer to rewash your car and do the bug prep at no charge, but you rolled your window up which indicated that you were not interested in finishing the conversation. This place is terrible! Don't waste your money. I spent more time wiping my truck down and cleaning spots off. I could have done a better job with a spray bottle and a towel...seriously. I don't trust my baby to just anyone! I WAS one of those people who always hand washed my Jeep because I feared the potential paint damage I thought car washes would cause. Not anymore! You will know from the very first time you bring your car through that the equipment is very well maintained and your baby is in good hands. Besides the vacuum options you can use they provide towels and cleaner for you to wipe down your interior also-never see that anywhere else! AND if it rains the day after you wash your car you can bring it back through for free! Don't trust your baby with anyone else! read more

I went to 280 location Friday at 4:28 and wanted to get my car detailed and got in line and then was told we can't do it today and told me to come back tomorrow but never gave me a reason. So I went back today and was there when they opened and got around to the tunnel got out of my car and then told me that it's too early for a detail and I said a guy told me yesterday to come at 7 to get it done. I used to take my daily driver SUV here to get the thick gunk off before finishing with a hand touch up to get the stuff that the wash missed. I had visited probably 40 times since they opened. Today I went as usual, and was refused service because my car has a dent in the fender. The (rude) lady running the line refused service to the person in front of me for the same reason. She game me a spew that the dent in my fender would result in the tunnel tearing off my front bumper somehow, and said that the tunnel had destroyed several other cars already due to a recent 10PSI increase in water pressure. Yikes. The tunnel must have some kind of magical destructive property for it to rip off front bumpers when an entirely different body panel has a dent in it. They should change their name to "Express Vehicle Crushing" if their wash is so damaging. Oh well, this is just an excuse for me to give my daily driver the same treatment that I give my fun cars - Hand wash only with microfiber mitts and towels. The Blue Rain tunnel never really got my car clean. It just removed the thick layer of dirt from driving in the rain, and I always had to follow up with detailer to remove the water spots that the tunnel left behind. To the owners : Consider selling your business to competent owners, and start some kind of business that you can't mess up, like mowing lawns. Oh wait, you would refuse service to anyone with a non-level lawn, because your mower might scalp their grass! I encourage anyone to avoid going here, for risk of that door ding magically resulting in your bumper being ripped off. read more

Sorry, I don't understand all the negative reviews. I really like this car wash- it is efficient and the flow of the wash is great. I check the air in the tires beforehand, prewash myself- what's wrong with that? The vacuums and the cleaning products on the other side of the wash are great- always find a spot. They do have a floor mat machine which works great. And...it's right beside Aldi, so you can get your groceries on the same outing. read more

This place is a rip off. I went there today for the first time and paid $20.00 for an advertised "full service" car wash. After exiting the wash area, I drove to the clean up area and waited and waited. A man came by and informed me that I paid for only an exterior wash. When I told him that I had contracted for a "full service" wash, he said I did get full service, exterior only. My car still had bugs on the windshield, dirt on the rear end, dirty wheels and dirty mirrors They charge $20.00 for an exterior dust wash off and expect customers to do all the cleanup themself. Give me a break, worst $20.00 I've spent in my life time and I'm 79 years old. I know another car wash where I can get the same dust wash off for $6.00. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I decided to get the car detail at Blue Rain at Tattersall. I took my car through the wash and then got out to let the workers detail my car. As soon as I started to drive off after the workers finished I saw a crack in my windshield. It was NOT there before. I immediately turned around and they wrote up an incident report. On the report it stated someone would follow up in 2 business days. 11 days later I still had not heard a word. I called and they returned my call Heath said he looked at the video footage in the car wash tunnel and he could see there wasn't a crack in my windshield. Yet he saw it in the video when I came back seconds later after leaving the business. He said it was perfect I got the car detailed because in the detail tunnel there is a camera right above my car. I told him I wanted to see the video. I went in he only showed me going through the car wash and backing up afterwards but you couldn't see anything because of the glare. I had to leave but said I would come back to look at the video of the detail tunnel. My husband called to talk to Heath and said he wanted to come by. Heath stated that they saved the video of me going through the car wash and leaving but deleted everything else. Hmmm...smells kind of fishy. I went by several times never to find Heath working at the time, but asked employees and other managers about video footage. They said it's never deleted. Interesting! After my husband talked to Brad Bailey (owner of Blue Rain and Magic City Glass Repair) he spoke to Heath and apologized because Heath lied. He did have all the video specifically saved in two locations. He supposedly had a talk with him about being honest with customers. However, drumroll please....those videos were both now destroyed. Their server crashed and the thumb drive Heath was carrying on his key ring had been compromised and the files are all damaged. They say it's a rock crack underneath the Windshield wiper that was there before. It's a smooth crack that I think someone dropped something on in the detail tunnel. They said they never lifted the wipers. But they detailed the car??!! Not a good detail job in my humble opinion. Something seems very fishy in this story. I told them originally I understood if it was there before but I wanted proof. Can't seem to find that. So now they're hush hush and won't do a thing. AVOID THIS BUSINESS!! read more

Just received the Manager's Special interior and exterior service! Phenomenal! My car looks brand new! They also worked hard to polish out some spots on the trunk and hood from a leaking drive thru roof my car was exposed to. They also took the time to walk around the vehicle with me to make sure everything was satisfactory. Very nice waiting rooms with clean facilities, TV, complimentary phone charging stations and extremely friendly staff! Highly recommend Blue Rain! read more

I have tried several different car washes. This one wants you to do all the work. Wash your own bugs. Vacuum your own car. Wipe your own windows. Dry your own car. They broke my antenna off and said sorry, we're not responsible. I bought their best wash. Deffinetly not worth the money. read more

Poor design, awkward and dangerous pre-wash area. The prices are high for the value/services offered. My car wasn't clean after the $10 wash. It removed the surface dirt, but the tires were still very dirty and the windshield was not clean either. The wash process caused damage to my car. I don't recommend this place, choose from one of the many other options. It's not worth the hassle. read more
