Darlene, another associate, and the manager on duty (I wish I knew his name) provided me with the highest level of customer service. He made my day! He was a one man show on the floor and handing pickups and he even located my 18" Baker Santa that I was looking for online. Darlene found me on the floor, and she let me know that the manager had located my item. When I got to the register, Darlene took her time, and she made sure that my coupon was properly applied. I was able to find the most unique garland & Santa's. They have something for everyone. The store is neat, clean and well maintained. My order was quickly and efficiently processed with a smile. Darlene was professional, and I loved the way she worked to provide exemplary service as she even assisted her coworker when I arrived with my return.

Our kids were literally one section over and not misbehaving at all. He then proceeded to glare at my 7 year old daughter as she innocently touched some decor. Won't be going back.. Edited in response to the owner: The employee could have been much more polite in general. A previous review from another family (scroll down) had the same experience as we did, so that definitely means your business lacks tact when interacting with their potential customers. Instead of rudely telling us to watch our children the employee could have said something like "Hi thank you for visiting us today. We try our best to make sure children are safe and ask that you please have your children near you at all times. We hope you understand." Much more polite, and still gets your message across. Instead of this long winded message below try pouring some of that energy into training your rude staff. Still felt unwelcome and won't recommend this store to anyone and especially anyone that has children! Have a blessed day.

Now I know why my husband told me that we shouldn't go in here...its like being in a candy store…read morebut with so much cool stuff for your house and home. We went in to look for some planters my mom had recently picked up here for a nice price and I wanted to go back to see if they had any more available. To my sadness, I was unable to locate any additional planter sets like the ones my mom had picked up, but not to worry, there is so much more here to find! First off, allow yourself at least 30-45 minutes to get through this store if it's your first visit. There is so much to see and great items throughout the entire store. You can pick up anything from outdoor furniture to bakeware, from pergolas to mirrors. Second, be cautious about what you put in the basket. There were several items which were very difficult to decipher the pricing. They have a bunch of tiki torches and I wanted to pick some up for around our patio but there was no pricing. By the time my husband was able to find someone to help him get a price, I had moved on to another part of the store and we forgot to go back to get the very well priced torches for $2.99 a piece. He's going back tomorrow to grab them for us before they're gone! Last, it's very easy to get caught up in how pretty some of the items are but frankly some items we're severely overpriced. I used my self control (which was not easy!) however we got out of here for less than $60 and picked up some beautiful plant stands, some absolutely adorable indoor/outdoor pillows for our patio furniture for $7 a piece and a few solar lanterns for a decent price if you ask me. It's nice that solar items are starting to come down in pricing!! My favorite part of our trip was at the checkout. We walked up to get in line behind a lady and her two boys in the cart. The younger kiddo was kinda whining but not annoying...just being a kid. Turns out he wanted candy!!! I told him I wanted some candy too, I totally understood his pain. By the time we were about done checking out ourselves, we had a woman behind us with her little lady beginning to beg for candy too. We just laughed because evidently, product placement is everything!

I can't afford to pay $200 a year on pottery and have to replace it every year. The first two times a friend and I came into the store to pick-up a large ticket item (which he purchased two of). We walked in wearing jeans, and had work gloves on - and were treated as if we were savages. We were made to feel rushed and like we needed to get out as soon as possible. Nevermind the fact that none of the staff at this place ever volunteered or asked if we might need assistance carrying our purchase to the car! Today I walked in to buy a friend a gift certificate for Christmas. Because the gift certificate was less than what they felt was adequate, I was told they would NOT sell me a gift card in that same amount again. Excuse me? Business is business and money is money period. These people have a serious problem with politeness and being friendly - I will NOT shop at this establishment ever again, and will be sure to let all the members of my community know the same. Thank You!

I was a bit nervous ordering online as someone not local since I've been burned before, but this was truly FANTASTIC from start to finish. They had a great selection to choose from, and the bouquet I ordered--the Botanical Beauty Bouquet (Premium), looked exactly like the photo when it was delivered. That alone was impressive. What really set them apart, though, was their thoughtfulness. They asked for the recipient's phone number so they could confirm she would be home to receive the flowers, especially with the storms today. This is such a smart and customer‑focused policy. Far too many times, flowers are left on a porch in extreme heat or cold, which completely defeats the purpose. Debbie's Designs clearly cares about ensuring the recipient gets a beautiful, fresh arrangement in perfect condition. Bravo to the team! I don't live in the Crown Point area, but I will absolutely order from them again anytime I need to send flowers there.

I live out-of-state and didn't go with 1-800-Flowers because you never know what florist they will choose. Debbie's has great Yelp reviews so I picked an arrangement right off their website site. I placed the order on Monday (Memorial Day) and since it was a holiday, so even though they offer next day delivery, I requested Wednesday delivery so I wouldn't get stuck with the leftovers. They made a delivery. That's the only positive thing I have to say. I asked my sister to send me a picture of what she received. Frankly, I'm embarrassed. And livid. Before the $17 delivery fee to go to Lowell or the $5 web fees and taxes, I paid $60 for the flowers and vase. What she got was greenery with a couple carnations, a white rose that had seen better days, and some sad-looking droopy lavender flowers in a dollar store vase. What if I had not done the $10 upgrade? Would she have gotten just some greens? Keep in mind, people take pictures of the "good" side of arrangements. So how bad is the back side? I should have asked one of her neighbor kids to get a $10 bouquet from Stracks and paid him the $17 to deliver it. I tried to call Debbie's directly at 4pm eastern time and got the vacation message that they would be back on the 27th, which was today so they can't even make sure their voicemail messages are accurate. What a joke! Maybe they do a better job when you are picking up an order and they have to see your face. I'd give no star if Yelp allowed it.
