They repurposed an old tire (or car repair ) business and really did a beautiful job. I'll preface by saying - I am Not an "antiques person" - by far. My better half is though and he loves this shop. Several aisles of booths - all nicely arranged. The front seems to be more of a newer gifts area (thank you from me :) ) We've bought several things and he has asked me go back and get something he spotted afterwards. I will say - even though I am not into antques - I spotted an ultra cool mermaid lamp when we were there. Someone else evidently liked it too as it was gone the next day when I went back - so don't hesitate to buy if you see something you like. I also bought a newer three world globe piece for my office when we were there. They wrap items purchased really well and the staff has been just lovely. If you live in town or are coming from a distance - I will urge you to stop by. This is a nice hidden gem in Crown Point. Glad to see an old building repurposed so nicely. Our fine city of Crown Point demolished some older homes behind this business so if you go around the block, you'll find a generrous parking area as parking in front on Main Street fills in fast.

This stores has a wide variety of very cool mid century items and they are all in excellent condition. The store is well organized and kept meticulously clean. My only thing I must warn about that if you use Google Maps on your phone and type in the name of this store, it will automatically direct you to some residential neighborhood thats about a mile away from the store. Besides the little Google Map error it was well worth the trip. The guy working was really easy to deal with and helped load the stuff into my truck so it wouldn't get damaged during the trip back home.

Yep- that's right, they are open NY day! First of all, this place is huge! You might think you've seen it all, but then go to the far right, past the Eatery, and you will find a whole other wing to check out. I've spent hours upon hours looking at each vendors "booth" and the cabinet cases to the far left front of the store. I've purchase things from jewelry, to gilded mirrors, gold antique letter stands, wall shelving unit, and an animal skull. But I've also purchased fudge, fried pickle mix, and bourbon carmel sauce. This place has everything you need. One thing I must point out, is some of the booths have modern items, things you can buy from Amazon. So, not everything is antique or even used/second hand. But I think overall, there is a good mix. I go for the antiques primarily, but I have found myself looking at some of the modern stuff that has antique style. I love when I walk in around holidays and see booths with sale signs. I try to go straight for those, because that's when I find I get the best deal. And almost always when things are on sale, you get the best value for your money. That's not to say that I don't buy things when they aren't on sale, I will. I just get excited when I'm bleach to spend less. But be wary, one time there was a sale sign with the correct dates but when I brought the item to the front, they admitted they must have printed the wrong sign because there was no sale listed for that booth in their computer. I always double check now before buying things. Another thing to note, if you find an item and it doesn't have a sale price on it, take note of what the booth number is and where in the booth you found it, then bring it to the front. They can contact the booth vendor for you to ask what the price is. Logistics: - there is always parking- the lot is big - there are not always carts to shop (they have run out more times than not) - the people working are very nice and helpful - if you get hungry while shopping, they have eatery32 inside on the right. Then to top it off...they sell the dust bags (that are free if you order the real ones from the actual Jellycat website) just to try to make them look more authentic. If you sell a fake product you should clearly state that, but no matter what IT SHOULD NEVER BE MORE THAN THE REAL PRODUCT. How terrible can you be to be making a buck ripping children off? These ppl should be ashamed of themselves.

We had found other items & went to make another purchase when the cashier started implying we were stealing & we had put other items in our bag (The plush toy). We looked at her completely confused & taken back. She kept making false accusations towards us. We told her to check her cameras to prove we weren't doing such thing. This turned out to be a bad experience with the shop. Instead of the cashier being on her phone majority of the time. She should actually do her job & pay attention to her cameras & stop making false accusations.

You have two sets of "mammy" salt and pepper shakers one located in the back left white shelf and another set in a curio cabinet in the middle of your store. In the same curio cabinet you also have a ceramic black baby hovering over the toilet with the words "You're Next" scrawled on the bowl of the toilet. These are very racially charged pieces that are not meant for an antique shop and should be removed immediately. Failure to do so will result in boycotting of this store, and having to alert the media. One of the few…read moreantiques shops in the town that actually has mostly antiques (most of the others sell junk, crafts, flea market stuff). The woman working was very friendly, she even called her daughter (who I think is the owner?) to ask if she had any of what I collect. The only downside was the prices seemed quite high compared to what we see at other antiques shops and malls around Northern Indiana and Michigan.

On top of that the aesthetic of the store is truly unique compared to any other in the region with it's cozy feel and warm lighting. On top of that the organization of the records is easy to access and alphabetical, my only issue is that the owner is difficult to negotiate with but he'll take offers they just have to be good offers and he at least won't give you attitude while you're trying to bargain with him, unlike most record stores nearby. However, if you get to know the guy and shop consistently he'll throw you some deals and maybe some free pins.
