James and another guy used to do our service and they did the best job! Cleaned the filter monthly, brushed and vacuumed every week and kept chem levels perfect. James moved away. We have a new crew now (for the past year). Good at first. Then we started noticing it wasn't being vacuumed. The same crew services our neighbors pool and neighbor sits out there and watches them do his. They always vacuum his. We had to stop them after they finished" ours and ask if they planned to vacuum. They came back over and vacuumed. Last week - Same thing. Came Thursday - and Friday we get in pool and it's dirty - obviously not vacuumed. We called and manager was great. Sent crew right over. One of the guys argued w my husband saying because we don't run pump all day is reason it's dirty. We have security cameras. They didn't vacuum. I'm not sure what other Floridians do - but being a pool owner for 30+ years - I know to run pump and to run it in the eve, night and early morning during summer monthto not circulate the warm water on top that the hot afternoons bring. This keeps the water temp cooler. Yesterday we pulled out filter - it clearly hadn't been cleaned in who knows how long. We cleaned it ourselves. I am going to stop by today and talk to manager. I would like to clarify exactly what the service includes. I do know it's not swinging by, dropping in chlorine tablets and checking levels. Stop being lazy! Manager is the only good one! This crew needs to take pride in their jobs! Update: Manager took prompt care of complaint and so far no more issues. It failed and filled pool continuously for 2 weeks. The city, Port Orange FL, uses smart water meters. I have a printout from the water department showing the water was turned on the same hour they hooked it up and turned off the same hour of their next routine service. The pool overflowed into yard and killed the grass in one corner. It also turned green for obvious reasons. Pinch a penny failure cost us $1300 in water use. It couldn't be more obvious they failed. The kid that cleans the pool aggred. The service tech agreed. The manager agreed. But the owner said he "couldn't be certain". J**k should stand behind his products.

David was very thorough in explaining in detail the scope and nature of the process. His company then went on to not only perform as promised but in fact exceeded our expectations in many ways. Everyone involved in the process from employees to subcontractors were professional and displayed meticulous workmanship. David himself was 'down in the trenches' making sure every grout line in the tile work was up to his standards. After completion of the actual project the 'aftercare/start-up' work was just as meticulous as the job itself. For 30 days the Pool Butler followed up brushing the pool surface and monitoring the chemicals making sure everything was just right. David even provided us with a new filter and pool brush, who does that? My wife and I have owned this home since 1988 and have dealt with dozens of vendors over the years and I can say without reservation this has been one of the best vendor experiences we have ever had. If you need your pool refinished or any other pool related services choose the Pool Butler. David does what he says he will, when he says he will and always at the highest level of quality.

Labor Day 2021 we were unable to use our pool as it was green...the company was again unresponsive. Drove to their Port Orange to speak to or rather shame Maurice regarding the ongoing issues and lack if response. He called my husband (A fellow FL State Contractor) to rectify and as I requested. The pool was so bad the water had to be drained and refilled. They didn't take or provide a water reading so you can imagine our water bill. Labor Day 2022...GREEN POOL AGAIN!!! Sent a text message with photos to an employee and Maurice...again the company was unresponsive. Called the office today only to receive the pre-recorded message they are Out Of Business. I had a morning appointment for an install inspection between 8a -12p. At 11:30 I get a call telling they need to change my appointment for the afternoon But could not give me an ETA. Next app to install was another 2 week wait. Again get a call that parts were not available so needed to reschedule. The tech forgot he had told me to get the parts. So I explained that I had the parts and I needed them to keep to scheduled time of 8-12. This was 10:40 am. The dispatcher said she will speak to the tech supervisor and call me back, I never received a phone call I only received a text at 2p saying the tech was in route. Great from where? I called and again they could not give me an eta. My day was already messed up waiting for this guy. I said somebody needs to give me an idea because I have meetings. I get a call back from the tech that he was 20 mins out. He finally arrived at 3:15. Now comes the worst part. I should have check everything was running before he left but I had been out twice and asked that he redo one pipe direction and then to check for a leak and found one that he fixed. and at that time the salt cell was working. When I went out right after he left the salt cell was no longer lit up. This is obviously a flow problem. So I had to turn the system off so more damage is not created! And I call and can only to the people in the Philippines!! It's crazy really! So right now my pool pump is off. I Have been told to many times to count that a supervisor or manager will call me back. I am yet to hear from anyone. This company is the absolute worst. Do not use them! Pinch a penny is 100 local and reliable.
