Went for a concert. The pros, easy to find, food and drinks are good, service was friendly, if a little slow due to staff being all over the place. Artist was amazing, throughly enjoyed. The cons, parking was a nightmare (and I have a handicap placard). We went early as seating is first come for the area you reserve, and it took 40 minutes to find a parking spot. The room was too full, tables so close together it was difficult to get in and out, especially if you have a disability. If you are in a seat with your back to the stage, you can't really turn to see the stage it's so tight. Taking out one run of tables would help. In all honesty, not sure I would go back. If I pay to see an artist, I should be able to actually see them without crippling my neck or back.

A great place to see a live show. Small and intimate, with good sound and no bad seats. Add some decent bar food and good mixed drinks and it's even better.

I came to Blue Note to see Norman Brown tonight (Friday). He became ill and rescheduled his show for March 31, 2025. I didn't check my email when it was sent that he wouldn't be performing. Oops. When I arrived, the host told me that I can stay and enjoy a complimentary show performed by saxophonist Jeff Ryan. Also, that I can choose to refund my ticket or use it to reschedule in March. Always looking for an adventure and listening to new music, I opted to stay. I'm so glad I did! Such a fun time I had at the show tonight! So much fun...that I didn't take any pictures. It was so nice to be in the present and vibe! :) I loved the decor and the blue ambient (and some purple at times) light throughout the place. The staff were nice. The food was pricey..but, hey, a girl's gotta eat! I ordered the soup of the day: broccoli cheddar, garlic Parmesan fries, and a limoncello spritz (basically spiked lemon water...really good!!) I enjoyed my meal. Thank you for the fun time and good food! I will be back! :)

Got here five minutes before 5PM for the 6PM show - Terry Steele. Warmly welcomed by their staff and we were able to pick and choose seats according to tickets we bought. Staff asked for our orders. I wanted to try their mezcal since I have not tried the ones they have in their menu. They were glad to give me a sample. I ended up getting a cocktail. Staffs are very attentive! Ambiance is great for shows. A little bit of squeezed in. I had to push my chair out to be able to leave my seat, but it's alright! We met this lovely couple who were visiting from UK. - If you're reading this, I hope you had a nice rest of your vacation. Enjoyed your drive and safely made it back home! Getting back to my review, its worth your money, break from all hustles and bustles and or all life's mundane!

Bbq chicken pizza 5/5

First time coming and I'm glad we were able to enjoy an amazing artist like Jon b. Parking- the location does have street parking but i suggest the parking they recommend on 11th. It's close with plenty of parking! Staff- when we arrived it was easy they asked for name and say is right away. The servers were prompt with offering a physical menu in place of the qr and they were always ready to remove empty dishes with quick response to bringing out orders 5/5 Food- Bbq chicken pizza-the hot honey was the perfect touch and the edges were crisp! 5/5 Cesar with chicken- big enough to share with 2 people. The right amount to dressing and the hint of lemon was refreshing. The flavor was there only thing i noticed was it was difficult to eat with a fork based on how the lettuce was thin ribbons. 4/5 Garlic fries 5/5- can't go wrong with garlic fries The drinks I had 3 glasses of Merlot 5/5, i should have just ordered the bottle it was so good The in between the sheets- i thought would come in a regular glass but it's more girly and i didn't like the taste as much as the merlot. 3/5 My biggest takeaway is the space of the seating- Behind at the high bar i noticed they fit as many seats as possible and that includes being sat right behind a Pilar that blocks the view of the stage. Luckily we got there at 515 and were about to get the last decent seats so beware of your arrival time as it is first come first serve seating. The tables near the stage are way too clustered. Watching people try getting up or getting their orders was hard no one could move, they all looked pretty uncomfortable. The best seating would be the booths, the high bar or the back tables. I would visit again but i would sit at a booth sucks to have a booth it has to be 4 or more cause i would rather just have a booth for 2

Blue Note Hit Two Notes... Then Blew Out the Speakers ***Great food. Killer prices. Painfully loud concert.*** It's not every night in Napa you get a slice of crispy flatbread, golden fries, and a front-row seat to a live show without needing a loan or a Lyft. April 30th--Locals Night at the Blue Note Jazz Club--was, on the surface, shaping up to be that rare trifecta: good food, great value, and hometown entertainment. Two outta three ain't bad. But then... the band showed up. Enter Los Cochinos--which I'm pretty sure translates loosely into "The Pigs," but feel free to fact-check me after your ears stop ringing. From the moment they took the stage (all fifteen of them, I think?), it was clear we weren't in for smooth jazz or sultry bossa nova. No sir. We were in for what sounded like a frat house earthquake--if Metallica, ZZ Top, and your neighbor's garage band all got into a turf war. Let's be honest: the Blue Note is a supper club, not a sonic battlefield. But someone forgot to tell Los Cochinos. They started by announcing they'd be playing "all original songs," which the crowd initially cheered--until it became painfully clear that every "original" was exactly six minutes long, equally indecipherable, and played at a volume that could sterilize a fruit fly. Alfonso, the bandleader and proud Santana disciple, looked the part--custom Paul Reed Smith guitar and a MESA/Boogie amp that could shatter windshield glass. But let's just say the only thing legendary about this set was how long I spent wishing for earplugs. Even the bass player from Vallejo looked like he was counting the seconds until his shift at a better gig. To be fair, the fries were excellent, and the waitstaff top-notch. But the next time I want to get blasted by a wall of sound, I'll drive a forklift into a Best Buy speaker wall. Los Cochinos may have heart, but someone needs to tell them: volume isn't talent, and every venue isn't your uncle's backyard barbecue. Note to the Blue Note booker: Next time, try "Los Quieteros."

Apple crumble...amazing!

First time at the Blue Note, have been to a number of the Meritage concerts in the summer months. I was told by a number of people that the Blue Note was similar to Yoshi's in Oakland...it is not. It's a very small, small intimate venue; the staff does a phenomenal job with crowd management. We had dinner elsewhere and shared an app and dessert. The brussel sprouts were promising, but a bit too al dente so we couldn't finish them. The sauce and texture of the nuts added nice elements but were just too hard. The apple crumble was amazing, absolutely delish. If there are any accommodations that can be made, Malia is your girl. Very personable, service with a smile and solutions based.

Cool locals night! We were walking by and saw the sign. Showed our id's and we were in a booth. The apps are solid. We had the roasted califlour (I know crazy!) it was great, tuna, and French fries (double dipped), all which I would order again. The country band was excellent, how fun on locals night!

Omg how have I not known about this place?? This was the best Motown experience I've had in years!! Will definitely come back for another show! Great cocktails, tasty deserts (we didn't eat anything else), and the seating somehow they managed to smash everyone together without it feeling like it's too much. The wait staff pay close attention and never keep you waiting!

While it was sometimes hard to get ahold of our server, the place was packed, so no worries. Amazing acoustics, interior design, and a great performance by Big Mountain! Garlic fries were also surprisingly tasty--crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Would come back!

I love this venue! There's plenty of parking around the area, and the space is small and intimate. Every seat is great! There's blue ambient lighting throughout. Everyone that works there is nice and customer service oriented. From the person at the door, to the bartender and wait staff. My husband and I came to see Digable Planets and the show was great! It's nice to spend time with your partner and even better when you both love music and have a chance to see an amazing show. About the food: Caesar salad with chicken - this was the best thing we ordered. Salad was well dressed seasoned, chicken is tender Garlic fries- on the greasier side but tasty Roasted cauliflower- wasn't roasted at all. No char. It was more like steamed. Our least favorite Sweet chili shrimp- I enjoyed the flavor a lot. My husband said it had too much batter.

Customer service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 Food 4/5 The customer service was professional and welcoming. We purchased 3rd party tickets and there was slight issue accessing the tickets. The Blue Note staff assisted us in taking care of everything right away. The servers were efficient and prompt, especially considering how packed the house was. Blue Note drinks were delicious and the food was good. The ambiance was dimly lit and swank which made for a nice and intimate setting to listen to awesome music. I REALLY like this place!

I have a mixed review for this hotel. The hotel has a beautiful lobby , nice rooms with a fireplace…read moreon the balcony, and a rooftop restaurant. All great. We did have a few pretty serious negatives to our experience tho . The day we pulled in, tired from a long road trip, it was pouring rain and we could not even find the front door. We walked all around the plaza containing their other businesses- coffee shop/restaurant etc and nearly gave up after walking all the way around the entire building. Once we found the front door , which is located on the Main Street the valet service ( which is required unless you want to park 3 blocks away ! ) was not very welcoming. We had lots of luggage and in the pouring rain we struggled to get our bags onto the cart, they did not help us at all. The guest services man Jorge was great and friendly and even upgraded us to a nicer room for our troubles. Once in the room we tried to hook up our Amazon fire stick to watch t.v. But the tv was flush against the wall and we could not reach the HDMI port. We called downstairs and they said they would send someone up to help. Half an hour went by and no one came so I called downstairs again , at which time i was told "our t.v.'s do not accommodate that' . That is a total lie , any tv with an HDMI port can be used with a fire stick, we guessed they were just too lazy/ busy to come up. The tv was very large , but was not even a smart tv . What the heck ???? Even a basic motel has a smart tv. We went down to the lobby bar to have some drinks and a snack . The hostess in the restaurant said we could sit anywhere in the lobby and someone would help us. We waiting for 20 minutes and no one even acknowledged us so we left . Other people had food and drinks so I don't know what that was about ..... We decided to just eat dinner on the rooftop and be done with this experience. The hostess was very uninspiring about her job and seated us. The dinner service was decent , it was pouring rain and we got a bit drizzled on between the louvres of the rooftop awning but overall dinner was ok. Due to the "snobby feel" of most of the staff and the lack of t.v. Options i would probably not stay here again. It's a shame because it was a nice location.

Sadly enough, this hotel is dealing with serious THEFT ISSUES which management is unwilling to fix…read moreor even review. I recommend the reader staying elsewhere if you have any valuable items. My story below. We stayed at the Archer Hotel Napa mid December 2025. When departing the property, I left my Stetson cowboy hat in the room ($1K+). Realizing this the next day, I contacted the Archer Hotel who informed me that nothing was reported yet (with a promise for a follow up notice). After 3 weeks of silence, I reached out again and was told that staff had not found the hat in the room. I must point out that the hat was packed in a special-purpose large box; given the size, special packing, value, and nature of the item, it is inconceivable that it would have been discarded as trash. Evidently, it was stolen. I then escalated this issue to management who mostly ignored my requests (I can share various emails for those who care). I did learn that there is security footage but access or review of it was denied (and one would wonder why that was not done in December following my first call?). This makes it evident that management (GM Michael Pace and Director of Operations Patricia Wilson) prefer to turn a blind eye and as such indirectly approves of staff holding on to left-behind items of value. Again: this is theft. I am now left with filing a report with the Napa Police Department.
