This review if just for the weekly chemical-only pool service only…read more On the one hand, I really, really appreciate that this pool company will come at the drop of a hat, that my location is on their route, and most of all - that they offer chemical-only pool service. Cutting down to just the chemical service is a huge monthly savings! Thank you for offering this! Also, I am so grateful that they came to my home to care for my pool in the beginning of the pandemic when my previous pool service quit unexpectedly (my location being too far from their regular route). However, that being said, the person who came to take care of my pool did not appear to test my water before pouring chlorine into it. This happened repeatedly- not every time, but enough times to wonder what was going on. My pool seemed consistently on the point of turning; it seems I often had to call for extra service or to get the pool shocked, despite this not being a problem with any previous service. Also, my pool fence was left wide open on more than one occasion. This was pretty scary as I have young children- the pool fence is up for a reason! Trying to communicate with the pool service was also pretty frustrating. The customer service person has their hands full with responding to emails and texts. My day of service changed at whim without notice. I know that can be difficult to coordinate and is really not a big deal to me, but the idea of 'catching the service person' during the visit to ask a question was nearly impossible. Last but not least, the billing they used was not so user-friendly; it did not send me an auto-receipt; thus, it was difficult to know if my bill was paid, as there was also no account history associated with it. All that being said, thank you Dana for your patience and always kind communication, and thank you to the different service people who came by to take care of my pool.
