Hired this company and for two months he part swapped my spa bit by part instead of diagnosing the…read moreissue and fixing it. He is a part swapper not a repair man. It cost me $1300 in parts: 3 pumps(one he burnt out a brand new one hooking it up) a board that cost me $600 and took All The functions away on my spa(don't think the issue was a bad board) he said the new board would fix it all. It Didn't work. Now the only pump that did work before I hired him don't work anymore and a new one that does work, after a week of using the spa a main jet, the large low jet suddenly started to spray water so hard to knock my 9 year old son off his feet! Thank god he didn't hit his head and drown!! When I called him he told he said "I should have bought an smaller pump" But this is the pump he sent the link for me to buy as a direct replacement! So now the pump sprays water so hard to sprays out of the tub like a fire hydrant. So After two months one pump of the 3 he replaced works like massive drain! The board don't work proper no heat, no filter will run unless you manually turn it one a few times a day and it's so weak it don't draw anything in. And of course He now won't return my calls or text. He has left my spa with it's panels off leaning against it. All the trim off and rain water leaks into all my new parts. I had to hire a new person to fix all his issues. Beware.

I purchased a house a few months ago. The couple I bought the house from did not realize they were…read morehaving so many issues with their pool. They said they liked Crystal Clear Pools and the owner himself had installed their salt system. I had the pool system checked out by a good friend with a lot of knowledge of pools and my pool company that we have been using for almost 20yrs. They both noticed that the salt system was not working and that that Crystal Clear Pools had been using chlorine instead of the salt system to treat the pool. No one had let the previous owners know their salt system was not working but were aware since they were using chlorine instead. Also the pump was not priming all the way. The pump was the first thing noticed by my pool company and friend when they walked up to the system. The previous owners were surprised and had the owner himself come out and fix the salt system. He replaced the main board and charged them $600. They told me that the owner said that particular pump was supposed to only fill half way up and that was normal. I doubled checked with my pool company and my friend and they said that was not normal. Then I called the manufacturer of the pump. They also said it was not normal and that someone needed to look at the pump. I called Crystal Clear Pools and left a message for the owner. After a few days someone from the company called and said the owner would get back to me. He never did. I called the company again and still did not get a hold of anyone who could help or the owner. The previous owners of my house gave me the direct contact for the owner of Crystal Clear Pools. When I called his cell phone he answered. I explained about the pump. He was very nice and told me he would be out in a few days to look at it. I asked if the warranty on the pump was transferable to me and he said it was. Neither the owner from the pool company or anyone else showed up. I called a week later and left a message. I did not hear back. About a week after that I called and the owner picked up again. He was just as nice as the first time I talked to him. He apologized for not coming about and assured me he would be out in a week. When he did not show up again I texted him (see uploaded screen shot) and he responded back. I asked him to be honest if he was going to show up. He assured me he would. He never got back to me and I told him I was moving forward without him. Its now been over a month. I never heard back from him. I was very polite and I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. He was always nice and assured me he would be out but his actions sadly showed me that he had no intention of looking at the problem. I had my pool company fix the issue. While working it they noticed Crystal Clear Pools plumbed the pool pump to where you could barely remove the cap to get the basket out of the pump (See picture). I do not like leaving bad reviews but feel I need to in this case. The owner has not provided quality work, service, or honesty to the previous owner or myself. There are a lot of pool companies in the area. I would try one of them before I would try Crystal Clear Pools.
