Blue Line Pizza is a standout small town pizza joint with good food, great service, and a chill vibe that makes it the perfect hangout spot in the evenings. Located in Danville's downtown area, off one of the main roads, this establishment has a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. On a hot and sunny day (of which there are many in Danville) it'd be nice to sit inside, but the outdoor areas are covered and allow for a nice breeze so even outdoors is desirable. The food is quite good. There is a variety of toppings, styles, and sizes, most pizza lovers will find something here that they absolutely love. My party went with a kale salad to start, and a pepperoni and green peppers medium pizza to end. Both were incredibly delicious. In fact, the kale salad was so good it convinced me that I actually like kale - not a small feat if you know how I feel about vegetables. The service was solid - the host was friendly and seated us quickly even during the lunch rush, the server came by to get our drink orders almost immediately after we sat down, and the food came out piping hot and without much of a wait. You could do much worse with pizza joints in the east bay.

Great to see them doing so well and opening up location all around the bay. Not surprising given how good their pizza and service is. Big fan of their online order system which has always worked like clockwork.

First visit back in years and everything was delicious! Service was friendly and attentive. We ordered salads, wings and a large pizza. I really enjoyed my seasonal spinach and butternut squash salad. It was lightly dressed in champagne vinaigrette and filled with roasted squash, walnuts, dried cranberries Gorgonzola and I added chicken. Wings were flavorful and juicy. Our thin crust pizza was delicious. Half sausage , arugula and hot honey and half pesto chicken. The crust is thin and crispy and holds the generous amount of toppings. Yum! I'll definitely be back.

This is an excellent spot for pizza and beer. They are in the Little Star family of restaurants, so you know their pizzas are good. What surprised me was how much I liked all the other items on their menu too. We had a glass of Original Pattern (hazy IPA) beer and it was excellent. Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable. They have 3 types of crust to choose from: thin, deep dish, and grandma style (square pie with crispy edges). What we ordered: + BRUSSELS SPROUTS & HOT HONEY - a great way to start. Served in a small cast iron pan so it stays very hot. + ARUGULA SALAD WITH STRAWBERRY BALSAMIC - this was so good, with chunks of fresh mozzarella and walnuts + BBQ CHICKEN pizza (thin crust) - lots of tangy BBQ sauce with chunks of pineapple and chicken. Really liked this but I thought there was a bit too much BBQ sauce. + HOT HONEY, SAUSAGE, ARUGULA (deep dish) - this was really good. The deep dish crust is not thick, but just shaped like a pan. The dough was like cornmeal and not very airy. It worked really well with this pizza. Overall, they have great pizzas, but also great sides and beers.

Service was okay, nothing standout, but not bad. I'll probably sit on the patio next time for a better vibe.Glad I gave this place another go--it's still just as good as I remembered! Blue Line Cauliflower Crust Pizza ($25.50) - I usually don't go for cauliflower crust, but this one totally changed my mind. It was thick, sturdy, and flavorful--held up perfectly under all the toppings. The small size easily feeds 2-3 people, and I've been craving it ever since. Honestly, it felt like eating a healthy vegetable cracker (in the best way). Highly recommend for anyone on a health journey! Wild Mushroom & White Truffle Oil on Grandma Crust ($35.50) - Absolutely delicious. Rich flavor, crispy base, and super satisfying. I'm really glad I branched out from my usual order. The quality is just as good as I remembered from years ago. Definitely coming back--and next time I'm grabbing takeout, too!

Cheese deep dish pizza. Pure gooey perfection with crispy crust.

If you love deep dish pizza, look no further for some of the best I've ever eaten. The crust is what makes is so amazing. It has cornmeal In it so it gives it a yummy crunch. I always order the same thing, the basic cheese deep dish. It's never soggy, always so fresh tasting and I love the big chucks of stewed tomatoes and how it cuts through the richness of the cheese. I've also ordered the deep dish blue line pizza, it's very yummy as well, with spinach, mushroom, onions and garlic. But I prefer simplicity! They have vegan and gluten free options as well so anyone with dietary restrictions can eat here. I am mostly vegetarian and their menu caters well to me. Service is always great , and they have a patio for outdoor seating when the weather is nice. This is a must go for deep dish pizza lovers!

This is a very comfortable place to eat a quick lunch. Well quick if you order regular pizza. If you order the deep dish pizza it takes 30 minutes to cook. This is what I ordered today. I'm glad I did. It is delicious. The crust is thin but thick and very crispy. I believe it's made with cornmeal possibly. I know it's dusted with it atleast. Then all the toppings are put on and finished with the red pizza sauce with chunky tomatoes in it. It is really really good. I hope you try this pizza if you haven't yet because it'll open a whole new pizza world for you that you didn't know existed.

Our favorite pizza place to go to in Danville . We've been going here since we moved here 10 years ago. The service is always outstanding from Dao & Twon , & Mark. We're treated like family & always a warm welcome & friendly service. They all know our order by heart so it's great when we arrive & order is in the cue . The place is very clean & we love sitting outside when it's nice . We usually are out there every other Friday or Saturday & enjoy our visit every time .

Best deep dish pizza! So many options for pizza combos. The garlic bread is also amazing and you can add toppings. Service was excellent today. Shaded outdoor seating

If you are a pizza lover and appreciate really well-made and delicious pizza, then try Blue Line Pizza in Danville. I have never had a bad pizza - they have all been delicious. They have a good selection of different types, some traditional and some not/so-traditional. They also have really good salads.

The busser, waiters, and hostess did their best to ignore us for a good 5-7 minutes while we tried to figure out which of the several entrances to use. It was obvious we were looking to dine there, but they all stood behind the hostess podium area walking back and forth, making eye contact with us, then flitting off to do seemingly nothing. Then we finally stood right in front of the hostess at her podium waiting for her to acknowledge our existence. She seemed annoyed that we didn't have a reservation even though the place was practically empty. We were sat in the inner courtyard under a HUGE fan. Our table was butted up against another table full of guests which made it difficult to get into the chairs on one side of the table. There were over a dozen outdoor tables that were not occupied, so it was annoying to be sat right next to one of the three occupied tables. We were given menus and someone promptly brought iced tap water. We sat there for 10+ minutes before my friend asked if we could sit elsewhere. The hostess seemed utterly confused at this request, but thankfully my friend had more patience to deal with the blank stares and attitude radiating off the hostess. We moved tables to another outdoor section that was more peaceful and proceeded to sit there for no less than 30 minutes with absolutely NO ONE coming out to provide any type of service. We finally got up and left because who knows how the rest of the dining experience might turn out. We should have noticed the huge red flag where several tables who had obviously stopped eating had barely touched their food. I cannot attest to the food quality since we were barely lucky enough to receive water. However, based on the the most recent reviews, we probably dodged a bullet.

The food came quickly and hot from the kitchen - except the salad and desserts! The food was very tasty, and the pear quesadilla and fondue were favorites for the uniqueness and the taste. The fondue had sliced pears along with the bread, a great change in the usual fondue take. The salad was also liked, fresh and a good variety of tastes and textures. They subbed the dressing for ranch. The desertas were also a hit, being shared. The warm pear tart was best liked, and very sweet and traditional in taste, but the bread pudding was also a close second. The pear tart was new to us, though.
