The sub was just ok as the bread was pretty dry and really large so the meat to bun ratio was not to my liking. We tried to salvage it with some mayo packets. The two kids in our group both got the mac and cheese dog, which actually turned out to be the best item we ordered. The first hot dog that we ordered was forgotten by the employees working, so we were waiting around for awhile for that. However when it finally came out it was pretty good! The pretzel bun was surprisingly soft and not stale or dry. The hot dog was a really large beef dog! I did get a taste of the hot dog because the kids seemed more interested in the mac and cheese on top than the hot dog itself, not surprising. Overall it's not a super great option for food but I would totally order that hot dog next time.

Luckily, the espresso at Allways Brewin hits that perfect sweet spot. The place stays true to itself with its genuine coffee drinks and relaxing vibe--not trying to be anything it's not. It's exactly the kind of cozy, authentic local coffee shop that I really appreciate, and I'm sure you will too. The staff was genuinely wonderful--so friendly and welcoming, I instantly felt at home. They truly know their coffee, from the beans and flavor profiles to what's in season, and they offered great recommendations. Plus, they have alternative milks, sugar-free flavors, and even canned lattes to take home--perfect for your drive to work the next day! All in all, a fantastic spot that's definitely worth a must visit in Bellefontaine.

I love the at the cafe has space to sit and a small retail space as well to browse. I got their Mediterranean toast and the peach co-ferment pour over (their current offering as of May 2025). The pour over was fantastic. The peach flavor was palpable and the barista did a great job brewing which can be difficult so props to her! It was priced at $5.50 which is relatively cheap for pour over in my opinion. Absolutely delicious! The Mediterranean toast was not my favorite. It was very sweet which I wasn't really expecting. I felt that the sweetness overpowered the lighter flavors of the other parts of the toast. I also wish the bread was more fluffy in texture. I think this toast just wasn't my cup of tea and I will need to try their other food items to form a better opinion of the food here.
