This review is for Tanya. I've been following her tattoo work for awhile and finally decided it was time to get another piece. Booking was super easy through her IG (@tanyadamn) and she replies pretty fast (no more than 48 hours). For the piece that I requested, I had sent several pictures referencing aspects from each picture and her final drawing that she came up with was on point with what I asked for. I did ask her about other client's opinions on her work and if she'd had anyone ever unhappy with what she came up with and from her response, she's very open to adding changes before tattooing (pointing this out because I have heard of people getting defensive about their work and not wanting to change their piece). Throughout the tattoo session, Tanya would ask if I needed a break or if I was still okay. She gave me water and even little candies. She also let me watch my show on Netflix. :) We talked about our own lives here and there too. All around, super nice, easy-going, fun to talk to, and caring. My piece had a lot of detail in it and was the size of two open palms, yet she somehow finished in about 3-3.5 hours. Her work is impeccable and worth taking a look at. If she does work that's up your alley, book with her, she will not disappoint! read more

I was the main prize winner. He scheduled my appointment DEC 13th. I asked about moving it. Then said he didnt have any openings until FEB. I told him to keep it. He said too late. Scheduled Feb15th. I messaged him that morning to let him know I was on my way. He said he had to cancel cuz his aunt died. This was at 730AM . Day of appointment. Then he rescheduled March 8th 2021. The Friday before. Cancels that appointment. Stops responding . And Venmo me my money for my Entry. Not the prize won. This is fraud. And will be reported to the Attorney General, Better Business Bureau, and will be filing a small claim law suite for the full amount of the prize that was owed. FULL SLEVE. I have all records of the winning live video, and conversations from this FRAUD guy. Stay away from him. Hes not a good person. read more

I got my tattoo done in early June. I loved everything about the experience. It was a long session, over 7 hours but Angel made the whole experience incredibly easy. He made sure I was comfortable the whole time and set up his work station to help feel relaxed. He was constantly checking on me to make sure I was doing okay, which I appreciated because it was the biggest piece I've ever had. The atmosphere in the shop was great as well. Everyone was super friendly and they made me feel as if we had known each other for a long time. On a side note, they recommended some bomb tacos during our break and included me in their pick up order which they definitely didn't have to do. The pictures below are the day of and one month later, fully healed. Angel is incredibly talented and it's no wonder he's booking for November/ December already. Sorta, kinda, spontaneously jumped the gun and finally got my first tattoo with @tanyadam. She is soooo talented and sweet! I was kinda picky and had tons of questions considering it was my first time getting a tattoo... she answered ALLLL my questions. She has the lightest hand because I thought I'd cry throughout the session (spine tattoo), but the pain was little to no pain thanks to her light hand! Her single needle came out very nice and crisp. A lot of my friends highly suggested this place in Anaheim and the person who gave me my first tattoo , his name was Jose. So the tattoo I wanted to get didn't come out as I expected when Jose had drawn it out for me. But he was able to help me out with his idea and how it would come out. I just got a portrait tattoo done last night of my grandmother at Blue Label/Og Spider and I'm absolutely stoked with my tatt. Spider did such an amazing job! He took his time to listen to what I had in mind and came up with a lovely design. The portrait matches the picture I provided down to every last detail and Spider added a few touches of his own to give it a unique look. We sat down for nearly 8 hours straight and I'm really really pleased with the end product. The most important thing is capturing the expectation of the person who wants the tattoo and the design has to match those expectations. Spider nailed it. After a very frustrating search for a good tattoo place that was willing to take a couple of walk ins, my best friend and I stumbled across Blue Label Tattoo on Yelp and gave them a call. The girl on the phone invited us to come in and talk a little more about what we wanted so we headed over. Upon entering Blue Label we immediately felt so welcome. Every single employee/artist that we encountered in this shop, from the time we got there to the time we left, was super nice and made an effort to say hi to us or chat a little if they came by. This was an EXTREMELY welcome relief as we had just had some negative experiences with other shops and were about to give up on our quest to get some tattoos done that night. We talked with Tanya, and it was decided that she would do both of our tattoos back-to-back. SHE WAS GREAT. She was super, super, chill and had such a light hand. Even though we had to sit through both of the tattoos it felt like no time at all just because we felt so comfortable talking with her. Besides that, she did both of our tattoos beautifully. The funny banter among the employees there added to the atmosphere and it felt like we were just hanging out among friends. After we left, my friend and I could not stop talking about how great of an experience it was. We both agreed that we often feel a little uncomfortable in a tattoo shop because we are young and worry we might not be taken very seriously; at Blue Label we did not feel that way at all. We will DEFINITELY be returning and recommending this shop to our friends and family. read more
