Fresh and delicious sushi! Easy to miss on the end corner of a small plaza right at a traffic light. Parking is minimal but available. The owner is a great guy, very friendly and just loves making sushi for his customers. They've got drinks and great prices, he rolls them all fresh right in front of you. My parents only eat cooked seafood so he makes sure to get them a good variety of cooked rolls each time. We've been long time customers and love catching up with him to see how his family is and how he's doing. Small place with a couple of tables. Ordered to go on their app sushi and my friend and I both agreed it was delicious! Tuna nachos flavor exploded in your mouth it came with 4 pieces my friend grabbed one before I could take a pic lol, the crispy rice spicy salmon was perfect and way better than other local places, the crunchy rainbow and Japanese bagel tempura were both excellent! The owner was extremely kind and took great care to make everything gluten-free for me, while keeping sauces on the side for those who eat gluten. Amazingly fresh fish with lots of flavor! The owner/chef is so nice. There's not a lot of space inside but still would go here over many others that we've tried over the years. Just ate here for the first time. Lots to report here. - the food was delicious (and we've struggled being from CA to find sushi we like here). Some fish is only available on the weekends which we have found to be true of many places here as well. - Larry (the owner and chef) is awesome. Super nice guy and happy to accommodate requests! - it is super tiny and mostly geared towards take out and delivery. So if you want to eat there you might want to go early (just 2 tables and a couple of stools at the bar). That said, it made for a cool homey atmosphere we liked. Covid and a dear friend's recommendation brought us to Blue Koi Sushi, but the food has made us permanent customers. They are totally set up for take-out in a completely healthy working environment. All sushi restaurants by nature should follow the strictest of sanitation, but they have gone above and beyond with phone ordering & payment and friendly curbside pick-up. Check my daughter here to have dinner. They were advertising specials for discounted prices. They did not give me the discounts that were posted in the restaurant, and when I asked about it they basically told me they were just sorry. Food was just OK, and served in the restaurant for dining customers food in plastic and Styrofoam. I will not eat here again, they charge a 3.2% fee for the use of credit cards which is ridiculous, particularly in the time of Covid where people want hands-free options. read more

We also got the miso soup and seared ahi tuna bowl. The miso soup had tons of seaweed (which I love) and the sauce for the bowl was really delicious.
