Came here as we were driving through and originally were trying to go to Apricot Place but they were closed on a Saturday afternoon, so we did a search for another good rated restaurant nearby and found Blue Hole BBQ. Something was oddly familiar about this place as it used to be a different BBQ place I visited over 10 years ago when we came to the area with friends during a white water rafting adventure. The meal was just ok back then but we were hoping with new ownership they had improved. In any case, the food here was decent, not great, but good. I got the ribs and my sons and wife got the brisket. The ribs were good, but my son said the brisket was just ok and didn't finish his meal. The sides were good and the lemonade was great! A highlight here is their home made BBQ sauces. They have sweet, mustard, and hot. All 3 were excellent and made the ribs I had very delicious. It was a good lunch and this place does the job if you're looking for a good meal. Service was friendly and the atmosphere is clean and cozy. 4 stars it is! Merry Christmas!

Service is good ribs were kinda bland and dry but not bad considering the area doesn't have much for restaurants.

Nice little road side spot with picnic benches to eat at Prices were excellent especially for me being from south Florida to walk away with enough food and drinks for 3 people for 33$ is a epic.... It would have been $60 at any truck in South Florida Drinks are only 1$ and ice cold and found a "rare" sprite I've never seen(that's why I say "rare" it's rare to me haha) Shrimp Po Boy - Fire !!! So fresh , corn dusted and perfectly fried .. shrimp juicy and tender and perfect amount .. nice and filling Chicken Gyro.. fresh grilled .. great portion size and tzatziki sauce was on point!! Every one of the sides looks so good and fresh that I wanted to get each one of them just to try it! The fish was cooked perfectly and was nice and tender. The added little muffin I didn't expect was a nice touch and delicious. The collard greens were SO GOOD. I'd get them again. So flavorful and cooked well. The beets were fresh and the goat cheese carried so much flavor. For the desserts, we got the carrot cake with pecans and chocolate cheesecake. Both were soooo good. I would get both of them again, especially the carrot cake which was so warm and moist. And the candied pecans were such a nice complement to the cake - not too sweet at all. The ambience is super nice and fresh, and our server was so sweet and engaging. The hostess as well. Everybody there was so nice and welcoming. When the special of the night is "Alfredo... with chicken, pork, or steak, take your pick!" and it's also already on the menu... this is a red flag. I quickly started scanning the menu for something that might not give me food poisoning. When the food is stored in outside freezers and there's a horde of live cats running around everywhere... it's a red flag. I love good bar food, but this was not good. My wife's Philly Cheesesteak tasted like propane gas. My chili dog was on par with something you might get at a junior high football game. Even my kids rejected their chicken tenders, which is saying something. Just 100% industrial, frozen, crap. The $13 margarita was even bad. It tasted like bad sour mix and may have had a drop or two of tequila in it. Giving one star for the server, who tried her best. And the location on the river was very nice. Service was slow too though. This was the worst $85 "dinner" I've had in a very, very long time. For the love of god, reduce the size of your menu and do a few things really well. No one wants a bunch of frozen entrees at a bar.
