Went to Blue Hills Ski Area as a last minute plan during our most recent trip to Boston. Looking at it from the outside, it looks like a little "starter" hill for snow sports, however, going down that hill is intense (for a non-experienced skier like myself at least!) the hill was steep! I fell a bunch... lol but still had a blast! The only interactions we had with any staff was then asking them our size of skis... and the girl working the lift was nice. Overall I'd say to go if you're looking for a few hours of fun on the slopes not too far from Boston! read more

I had grandkids visiting from Florida during their March school vacation this year, just dying to see snow. Naturally, it never snows for them when they visit. This year, we had a ton of snow late Feb and early March, and then lots of warm weather and sunshine before they got here. Being the demented grandma I am, I PAID to go where they make snow. We actually went snowtubing on the very last day of their season. The price was reasonable, if I don't consider how stupid it was to spend all that money for snow at the end of a NE winter. I think about $30 each for a six-pack of kids. I should have brought my rolling walker - the trek from the parking lot was not made for old wrecks like me. They had one tubing area open, with possibly 4 inches of snow and a few bare patches. That's it for my bellyaching. None of my issues were the fault of this property - just a ridiculous situation. Anyway, the staff was absolutely wonderful - friendly, responsive, helpful - just a lovely bunch of people. The kids, who never see any snow, were totally impressed with a patchy 4 inches and must have gone down that hill about 50 times each.They had a wonderful experience despite the circumstances. The facilities, including some food service, were quite nice, and I had to drag my gang away when they were closing. There is absolutely nothing they could have done here on this day to make it any more successful. I know that this seems like left-handed praise, but it isn't. I paid my money and asked for what amounted to a miracle on a warm spring day and got it, accompanied by great, friendly, fun service. The day was fabulous all around. read more

Signed up for a ski lesson, if you are doing so definitely plan to be there a solid hour before your start. Parking is a nightmare, once finally able to get a spot the rentals are a bit of an unorganized disaster. Took 45+ minutes to get all of our equipment and settled. Which then made us over 20 minutes late. Had to ask where to meet the instructor and was guided to a spot where no one was. Took another 10 minutes to flag someone down and the man who brought us to our lesson was beyond rude. Multiple comments about us being late and overall just an awful way to start. Have to shout out Dan the actual instructor though. He was absolutely awesome and salvaged the entire experience. read more

Nice staff, but disorganized and not worth the lesson price 2 stars. We booked two private snowboard lessons at Blue Hill Ski Area today: $235 for my 6-year-old nephew and $165 for a one-on-one "tiny track" lesson for my 3-year-old. Our lesson was scheduled for 11:15 AM, but due to unnecessary delays from parking through check-in/rentals, we weren't fully ready and on the bunny slope until around 11:40 AM. I want to start by saying most of the staff and instructors were genuinely nice and patient with the kids. The issue was the overall organization and the quality/structure of instruction relative to the price. Parking was chaotic and felt understaffed. Once we got to guest services, signage and directions were minimal, and we weren't given a clear step-by-step process for tickets, rentals, and where to meet instructors. We had to hunt for help, then got sent back inside for rentals after we were already outside, which wasted a lot of time (especially with little kids and gear). The lessons were friendly, but didn't feel instructional enough for what we paid. My nephew learned some turning, but there wasn't enough focus on control/stopping, and he went through the orange fence of the bunny slopes at the bottom twice. My 3-year-old's lesson was kind, but it felt more like supervised sliding than real teaching with progression. For these prices, it just didn't feel worth it. If you're spending private-lesson money, you may be better off driving 1 to 1.5 hours to a larger mountain where the process is smoother and instruction is more consistent. read more

The mountain is what you expect for the most part, but the staff was awful. From the snack bar bros paying no attention to customers and swearing loudly around small kids to the instructor standing in front of the door, clearly seeing little kids struggle to get by and ignoring them. read more

The owners of this ski area changed hands this year and they are putting in the work to get it to gain some popularity! I'm doing the women's ski group lessons on Tuesday nights and have been loving it. It's so fun to have just a short drive from my place in Boston and ski for an hour or two in the evenings during the week. The instructors have been SO kind and have been much more skilled than some of the instructors I've had at the bigger named mountains. I love the deals they have to get city people outdoors in the winter! It is essential only 2 trails ( a black and a blue) + the bunny hills but imo a great place to learn and/or to spend a week night evening outside. read more

Great place to learn to ski or snowboard its kinda small for more advanced skiers and snowboarders but it gets the job done

Start with the good. Staff are REALLY nice and accommodating. I needed help with a few things and had a very pleasant discussion with everyone working here. Sorry, that's it. Almost no parking. There's an overflow lot with shuttle that luckily I was able to catch in a convenient amount of time. The bunny/learning area is a joke. It's sloped sideways but you're expected to go straight down about what 100 feet tops? I'm not a great judge of distance but it was short. No way to gain momentum...by the time you might you're slamming into the super long line for the lift itself into the zillions of kids doing ski lessons. If you go right to left on this "route" you're still tipped to one direction. Way too many lessons and kids. It's probably a great place for kids to have lessons, but I'm not a kid. I found the bunny hill lift in this area aka conveyer belt without railings very dangerous. There is a railing on one side for the super basic area that I took a picture of. Luckily the staff are watching with a keen eye. The lodge is super dingey and gross. Some people might find this historic and lovingly worn by many a winter sports lover, but to me it was just wet and stale. Can't comment on the food in the lodge but it smelled good. If you're an avid skier and just want an easy place outside the city then you'll probably enjoy it. But for a nervous adult like me who just needs space...don't bother. Rentals including helmet and lift ticket were a little over $100. Fine, standard. I'm glad i had this experience today because it reminded me I don't want to do this again any time soon. Fun to watch the black diamond-ers come flying down the slopes though, very impressive. read more

Blue Hills offered tubing for the first time this year. My friends and I went on Saturday afternoon 3pm Feb 21. It looks innocuous because it is relatively small - there are 4 lanes and may be 150-200 feet if I had to guess. The issue is the ending - the lanes are separate on the way down, but at the end there are a bunch of rubber mats, meant to slow you down, and an uphill embankment with a net to catch you. The workers send 4 people down at the same time without spacing them at all. I was ahead of my friend in my lane. When I got to the end and slid up the embankment, she was still coming down through the mats. Her boot went straight into my back - I can tell you what brand she wears, it was that bad. This is not her fault in any way - there is nothing to steer anyone once they reach the mats/embankment section. It happened to be a sheet of ice that day, and we did sign a waiver, so I am not planning on doing anything other than alert people that they are not implementing safety measures at all. They should stagger the people going down, if they are leaving it the way it is, which is a total free-for-all when the lanes end. Ideally they will introduce something to avoid collisions at the bottom. I had to get an xray on my back, that is how badly I was injured. Also, it could have been my head or face that took the boot. I highly recommend driving to one of the real mountains that have this type of thing figured out, because Blue Hills does not. read more

Conditions were terrible - not their fault. My group and I were unable to ski because it was so icy and just dangerous. We were able to do a solid run because of how bad it was. We go to customer service, it's been run by a 17 year old and she was absolutely no help. Says they don't offer refunds or can't transfer the life tickets to another day. I understand the weather isn't their fault of course, but no accommodation? $200 later for nothing. Very disappointing. Many people ended up leaving as well because it was so bad. read more

Came here on a Friday morning in March before a late start at work, and my expectations coming in were pretty low. I grew up skiing out West, so the idea of a 2-run, 300 vertical ft ski area was a little dissuading. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the ease and convenience of getting in some pre-shift turns. It only took me 30 minutes to get here from Cambridge, the ticket was $30, and the staff was super friendly and efficient. The best part was absolutely no lines! The main run is short but still steep enough to get a good amount of speed. The beginner run from the top is longer and meandering, which is a fun way to switch things up. I was even able to go on a trail run up to the peak afterwards from the nearby trailhead. My only complaint is that the website mentioned a terrain park, which was sadly nowhere to be found today. Would love to see the park status updated on the website (alongside some pictures of the current features)! Overall, as long as you come in knowing it's not going to be like skiing at Aspen or Whistler, it's a convenient, efficient, and easy experience that's definitely worth the ticket price. read more

This review is a visit I had back in January during COVID. Because of the pandemic, I recognize my experience may be different than normal times. With that said, here were a few things that led to my 2 star review: - It was unclear where I should go to grab my pass when I had purchased it online. Signage was a bit confusing - They gave me a lift pass for a different day than what I purchased. Apparently it wasn't a big deal because it was the right colored pass but it caused a bit of confusion on my end and wasn't quite clear why I couldn't just have another one reprinted - Line to get rentals took a long time considering it wasn't that long when I joined it. Even though chairs were spread out to encourage social distancing, it felt like there were a lot of people in the enclosed area. It took almost an hour to get my rental equipment which I was afraid would cut into my 3 hour ski-pass. They claimed my time would get extended but I wasn't sure how they were enforcing that and I left before finding out - The runs are pretty short and limited but I mean it is is a hill in Boston so I didn't have too high of expectations. This is definitely a place for beginners and first-timers. The good news is that the "black diamond" slope that I was on had almost no one on it and the lift was moving pretty quickly so I could get 20+ runs in within a 3 hour period Cheap and convenient for first-timers but certainly prefer other nearby slopes like Wachusetts that have more runs and have smoother operations read more

I went on a weekday afternoon after a few bouts of rain and some relatively warm weather for winter, so the snow that greeted us was the icy sort. Their weekday hours are 2-9, but when I called, I found out that if I got there between 1:15 and 1:30pm, that I could get my equipment and be ready for a 2pm lesson. So that's what I did! It was a light day in terms of snowbunnies, so there were only 3 of us waiting to take the adult snowboarding lesson. Fortunately we were all beginners, which probably made it easier for both us and our teacher. By the time our lesson was over, we had gone down the bunny slope facing forward and backwards, I had learnt how to get on the lift mat safely, and how to get off my butt after binding my boots to the snowboard. While I did fall a few times (fortunately missing my tailbone!), it was a successful afternoon out in the snow if I don't say so myself! Checking out the bottom of the steeper slopes, I spotted more knowledgable (compared to me, that's just about everyone else!) snow boarders sliding down boards and such. Nope, I don't foresee any of that in my future! It was a nice little bunny hill for this beginner. Best to go midweek so you don't have the crowds of small skiers to avoid running into. Bathrooms were available in the lodge, which is just beyond the red building where I signed their legal stuff and got my boots and snowboard. Shelves were available for us to place our shoes and whatnots. $28 equipment rental $6.25 helmet rental Snow pass ranges from $18-36 for adults Non-private adult lesson for $25 My day's outing had a price tag of $79.25 ($28 + $6.25 + $20 + $25), but for me it cost $35 for one of those lovely discount vouchers plus the helmet. read more

It's a small location and they try to make due with what they've got. There are only a few locations around me that offer youth ski lessons. If you've got a first time skier; this might be an okay place for 1 or 2 youth group lessons. Just to give it a try to see if your child is interested in skiing. I would not recommend doing anything further. I signed up my kiddo for skiing lessons back during the winter of 2021. We didn't get in on time for the seasonal youth group lessons. So we made due with random free spots available weekly for lessons. They were great. By the end of the 2021 season; the instructor said the kiddo is ready for lifts by next season. We could see the confidence and more importantly the joy. The next season we went to a large ski resort for 1 day lessons; got up on lifts. All great until... We signed up for bluehills 2022 winter lessons. They started on the magic carpet to get a gauge of the skill level. They put my kiddo in a group of 8-10 with one instructor. The location was over crowded and we were stuck on the beginners trail. I made several attempts to ask the instructors if they do reassessments and what the schedule was like. The instructors kept telling me they reassess and are trying to be safe as Bluehills is too small. They said, "there are a lot of dangerous skiers and the kids need to know how to avoid them." With that many kids and one instructor; they couldn't reassess. The instructors cannot possibly watch the progress of that many kids. By the end of the season; they went on the lift once. My kid is now traumatized and refuse to go on the lift. Even though we've gone on the lifts several times before attending the bluehills 2022 winter youth lesson. For those who are wondering if this is the place for their kids. Do the few random lessons but stay away from the group all season lessons. They don't do refunds. read more

This is a modest ski area that has much to be modest about. The runs are not well linked, there is some walking or shuffling. One downhill run (off the double chair) actually goes uphill initially (to the blue run). I may be often misguided, but, aren't downhill runs supposed to run, ahem, down the hill? The double chair lift is affectionately and imaginatively is name "double chair lift"; can't get clearer than that. If you want to yank their chain, ask them what the lift is called. It is pleasantly close to boston (like, it is in 128). the prices are not so high. the folks are relatively pleasant. one of the instructors kindly told me that the black run just looked hard (it's a lot like a blue at MRG). She was a kind sole and I must have looked ragged. The area just had two runs open, though, when i was there (not counting the bunny slope). filled the time, though, got some turns in, improved none-the-less. can't complain, it is what it is. better than work. you should go at least once. On a good winter it would be a gem, there is lots of tree skiing when there is natural snow. i wish them well. And I would like to thank Bill C. for his illustration of articulateness. Blue Hills was just right for my young ones. Unfortunately they don't often have more than 3 trails open, 2 super beginners and 1 "black diamond" that is so short it is almost over before it starts. COVID protocols were followed closely and we felt safe. The instructors were top notch. And it is so close and easy to get to. The staff was really friendly and helpful from the ski shop to the kitchen. I just wish they had more runs open regularly. read more

Great local place for skiing or snowboarding. It's a nice spot super close to Boston and they are open at night. Blue Hills Ski Area makes their own snow, so even if there is no snow in your backyard there is snow at blue hill. Perfect spot to learn how to ski or snowboard without having to drive too far. There is one big lift for the experienced skiers and snowboarders and a small and medium magic carpet to learn and progress on. read more

Great during all seasons! I ski there almost yearly and have been going there science I was a kid. The trails during spring, summer, and fall are great. The trails are almost never crowded because there are so many of them! When you get to the top, there is a weather observatory that has a little shop that sells water, snacks, and weather related toys. The observatory also gives tours of all the weather recording equipment inside, new and old. They also take you to the roof to show you all the wind and sun measuring tools. The roof is my favorite because you can see for MILES on a clear day. I highly recommend it. read more

It is not much of a mountain, which is fine, as I was there with my son who is a first-time skier. My big issue with the place, is that it is 2022, and they do not have self-serve kiosks. As a result, I waited over 30 minutes to redeem my son's ticket, which made him 15 minutes late, for a one hour lesson, which was not cheap. I complained about the wait when I finally got up front, and was told that it was "the busiest day of the year." I understand, but still think that excuse is unacceptable, as I compared notes with friends at other mountains, and they had no issues. Also, I went tubing with my son and a friend a few days ago (School vacation week), at Ski Ward, and we redeemed our passes via kiosks in minutes. The long wait makes me unlikely to return, which is a bummer, as it is close by, and a great place to learn! read more

Who frikking knew that Blue Hills Ski Area was so awesome. You want to get to get your powder on but don't feel like driving a couple hours. Blue Hills is great! Its small but it does the job for a few hours. Took my first snowboarding lesson here and I am hooked! Our instructor, I think her name was Mayan was super awesome. She was patient with me as it took me a while to get the hang of things, The bf on the other hand was like learning level 2 styles and techniques in minutes...Sigh she never discouraged me and made me keep at it till I got it and was able to do the turning leaf. Before our lesson , she asked us what was our goal or what we wanted to achieve. I wanted to learn how to go down and stop without falling. Well, she taught me just that! It was great! Of course, the bf who picked up things quicker since he has been riding before got to learn way more than I did. But it was ok. I didn't want to learn too many things at once. An hour goes by really quick, so we added on another hour. For 25$, it was like a private lesson for the 2 of us. (A private lesson costs $60) The café is pretty awesome too. It's a nice way to recharge after falling down so many times. The ppl there are super nice too. We wanted to get some chili and they only had enough to fill up one and a half cups, so they didn't charge us for the half cup..But when I opened up the cup, it was lke 3/4 full. So we practically got 2 full cups of chili for the price of one! No other ski place would ever let us get away with that. I would recommend Blue hills for beginners or those who don't want to drive that far to ski or ride. read more

Bought a http://buywithme.com coupon ($35 for an hour lesson, ski/snowboard rental and a entire day lift ticket) so I decided to learn how to ski. You have to arrive pretty early in the morning to get an lesson within an hour (you can reserve lesson times if you are paying full price), but once I got there it was worth it. John was my instructor and he was AMAZING. He was a patient teacher and in no time I was paralleling down the bunny hill. My boyfriend, who was taking the lesson with me, was not the natural I was and John did a great time helping him while giving me pointers before I went up the magic carpet on the bunny hill. John didn't have a lesson scheduled after mine, so he stuck with my boyfriend and I for an extra 45 minutes! He was nice, encouraging and patient. I would go back to this hill just because he was so nice. The hill itself seemed fine to me. I don't have much experience with skiing and snowboarding so I probably wouldn't know the difference between a great hill and a mediocre one; but this one is great for beginners. It's a very short drive from Boston which is really nice, and although it gets crowded by noon, it's still not that bad. If you want to avoid the crowds come on a weekday. read more

I've been here a couple of times and this place is decent if you want to get a few runs in close to home. Don't come here expecting a full mountain experience. It is what it is-a small local place with a lift and a few different ways down. We went this winter when it was fully open and there were lots of extra ways to get down through the woods. It's a cute little ski area, close to home, and inexpensive lift tickets. My only complaint is that they only have one slow double chair, so the lines can get super long. Also, it seems like a lot of parents buy their teenagers season passes so this is a big after school hangout for unsupervised kids. read more

Great spot to for beginners and a short afternoon at the slopes, but that's about it. Was just looking to spend a short afternoon snowboarding and since it was only 40 minutes from Providence I figured I check it out here. The positives are that it is close to Providence and Boston, and the lift tickets are much cheaper than most ski areas. That being said, you get what you pay for if you are look to spend the day on the slopes wouldn't recommend coming here. However if you are a a beginner, or simply looking to brush up on your skills it is a great spot. My one tiff was it took me 10 minutes to find where to buy a lift ticket, there were no clear signs of where to go and nobody was able to help me; it end up being in the ski shop. read more

If you keep in mind that it is a small mountain (hill) then you won't be disappointed. Its a great place to learn or to go for a quick ski/board that is conveniently located. There is one double chair lift that will take you to 3 or 4 trails and a magic carpet for the beginners area. Also, there is night skiing on most of the trails and they are open till 9pm. They have small lodge with rentals, a little bit of gear, bathrooms, and a snack shop. I would recommend coming here already geared up because the bathrooms aren't really conducive to changing. So if you are looking for place to learn or improve you skills if you are a beginner than Blue Hills is a inexpensive and conveniently located place to do so. read more

First the good - The staff inside who dish out skis and equipment are super nice and friendly. Nothing but the utmost respect for them as they have to continually deal with all kinds of customers. - The deal is not bad for the whole season. You get equipment and access to the mountains for a good price. - Location is not bad for folks coming from the metrowest region. - Chick was awesome. Now, the negatives - Lettie is super rude. She is supposed to be the one that needs to be customer obsessed. The whole operation of lessons and kids waiting for instructors is disorganized and to top it off, the leader of the whole pack (Lettie) is not friendly at all. It is hard to know when kids are being called for (what time) and who they are assigned. - There's multiple packages - season pass, season pass with skis, onside (whatever that means), The customer is confused and the people at the front desk dont ask the right questions to make sure that you are signing up for the right thing. Last week, I almost gave away 150 extra dollars if I hadnt asked the right question. Come on guys. You are in a unique spot to make Blue Hills great. read more

My friend and I got evening season passes to Blue Hills. Here are the Pros and Cons: Cons: There are 3 carpets, but only 2 of them were open in the evenings, which was a big disappointment. There is only one green trail from the lift, and it was never lit at night. Why? I'm an intermediate-advanced beginner, so the layout of the place is not conducive to productive learning. The chair lift is at the very right-side of the place and the green trail leads down to the very left side. So you would have to traverse the entire place to get back on the lift. Pros: Very nice folks that work at the Rental Shop and customer service. The rep I spoke to informed me that they would let evening pass holders use the trails in the daytime, which is when most of the trails are open. Nice! They just got new equipment. Location, location, location. read more

Low barrier to entry skiing/riding. It doesn't make a lot of sense to drop $125-150 and drive to New Hampshire to stumble around on bunny slopes. That's where Blue Hills comes in. A half hour from Boston and Providence, $38 on weekends and $29 on weekdays and a perfectly functional magic carpet makes for an excellent place to try something new. Rental equipment is old but serviceable. Rental skis are the venerable Rossignol Cut of 2001-2003ish, right when the world was switching to shaped skis - no frills, but then again, who needs performance skis on a magic carpet ride? Snowboards are similarly well-maintained, if a bit newer. Overall, three reasonable advanced slopes lasting 40 seconds to 2 minutes, with one two-person chairlift. Ample parking. Closed for the season as of 3/2012 (alas, poor snow year.) read more

This review should have been written last season -- A bunch of us had passes for lessons, rentals, and ski pass and decided to do a group lesson. It gets crowded fast and early. Even though we had reservations for lessons and arrived early, well over the 90 min. requirement, still took us awhile to get our passes and gear while getting our lessons bumped several times. They were originally going to separate us all for our snowboard lesson, but they were eventually able to put us all in together. Much to say the least, this place is chaotic. Also our instructor had never taught a lesson before and was on his own. So he still haven't developed a "technique" yet for teaching so we were kinda all over the place. I never made it onto the actual slopes here, so I can't really write about that. But I can tell you that if you're planning on doing lessons, definitely go elsewhere where there is more organization and the kids, yes kids, teaching have a bit more knowledge and experience. And what's with the less than mediocre cafeteria?! Seriously $4 for a vitamin water. Even at the most expensive ski resorts I've been to I could at least get half a decent meal for $4, a gourmet coffee or latte, or several bottles of water! read more

This place is as good as it gets for a ski area that is super close to Boston and good for kids/people who are beginners. If you're a double black diamond expert, then this place is not ideal. Parking is pretty easy and close to the lodge, and staff is very friendly and helpful. My 4-yr old took a snowboarding lesson and had two instructors (16 yr olds, but so patient and sweet) all to herself. There is no basket rental for storage, only small lockers, but most people just left their stuff on shelves, so we did too, with no problems. People also didn't seem to lock up their gear outside, either. I liked this sort of trustworthy vibe. The food selection was pretty good, but no pizza (I always enjoy pizza for some reason apres ski) . . . thank GOD they had hot dogs or my daughter would've been upset :p read more

Great Lesson Program!!! We enrolled our son in the Learn to Ski program here last winter--he's six and has pretty heavy ADHD. Skiing was recommended to us as a good activity for him, so we signed him up and crossed our fingers. I couldn't be happier with the teaching program! For just over $200, we got a group of five small-group (in four of the classes there were three kids, in the last, it was just him and his instructor) classes, all his equipment, and lift tickets for the full day of his class. In those five lessons, he went from learning how to put on his skis for the first time to taking the chair lift up the bunny hill and navigating down successfully on his own. He did spend some time after his classes on the mountain with his dad, working on what he'd learned, but it was just in perfecting the techniques he learned from his great instructors! My husband bought lift tickets for the days Will was in class, and enjoyed the nonexistent lift lines. His first choice would be for a more challenging experience, but Blue Hills is 15 minutes from our house and, as he said, it's a great chance to get on skis for less money and with less of a drive. For the non-skiier (me), the "lodge" amenities pretty much suck, but there's a snack bar with a pretty good selection of choices, not all horribly unhealthy, at good prices, including popped-on-premises popcorn that we HAD to eat once we smelled it, and the hard chair I sat in during his lesson/ski-with-Dad time was worth the savings in gas/time/money. read more

The 5 star review is for the lesson that my son Joey took today. His instructor, Ben, was great. He was very encouraging and patient. We saw improvement in just 75 minutes. Keep up the good work, Ben! The resort itself is good for a small place close to the city. I'd giveit a 3 or 4. The layout can be tough for more advanced beginners who have outgrown the magic carpet area, because the chair lift doesn't lead directly to any beginner trails. It also gets very crowded at times. If you understand and are prepared for these quirks, you can certainly have a great time! The huge upside is the location. Its not a mountain so lower your expectations. Its a hill. But its a pretty big hill. Big Blue is the main trail. Fairly steep for those who are jonzin for some fast downhill action on your snowboard or skis. Go too fast and you'll be at the bottom before your next breath. Still, Blue Hills offers the convenience and access for anyone wanting to get a session in without driving hours to the closest mountains in NH or western MA. The park is rather weak with only one or 2 small kickers and a couple of small tables and at least 3 rail;s but its better than building your own. Night skiing makes the place even more appealing as its a nice alternative to working out after work. Parking lot is right below the slope so easy access. Never really too crowded. They just upgraded the lift engine so it goes a bit faster these days which results in less wait time. There are a couple of side trails which people like because its not as downhill steep as Big Blue which makes the ride seem longer to the bottom. After a dumping the woods can be ridden which is my favorite part of Blue Hills. Just don't go in unless you know its plenty of depth or else you'll have plenty of dings on your board. read more
