Walked in at 5:45... About 10 minutes ago and this sales person Sawyer Tourek said that we cannot see the model home even the one connected to his office... He was trying to close up early. It's not even 6 o'clock on this timestamp of this review. For someone that is interested to see a $3 million home, that is poor service, I am extremely surprised and disappointed.

Door installed with gap at bottom which causes wind/water intrusions

9/30/25 Update: Last weekend we had a significant storm in our area with strong winds and rain. Unfortunately this came with significant water intrusion through the top, sides and bottom of an exterior door leading to an upstairs bedroom with that water ending up in a downstairs can light and onto our downstairs floor. I contacted BH who told me that the door was not meant to be 100% waterproof, it was installed per the manufacturer's specification and that BH is not responsible for acts of god. I've learned that other BH customers had this same : worse issue. I find this a bit odd to learn that an exterior door leading to an occupied area would not be air / water tight and be subject to water intrusion and flooding. BH did not even offer to come out and inspect and try to find a solution. Very sad once again. Fortunately we were home and so the damage was not as bad as it could have been. Unfortunately other BH customers were not as lucky as us.

We were in Las Vegas looking for a personal residence escaping from California. Early AM my spouse was still asleep at the hotel and I was out exploring the Lake Las Vegas area for the first time. I stumbled upon the Blue whatever community while it was under widespread construction. I watched as two mini backhoe were operating... I was thinking hey... I'm getting ready to rent one of those because at two of my income properties in California I want to rent those things to dig out foundations and sewage lines for the additions. So I drove up and parked to walk over and get closer to the back hoe to see how they operate. I ended up talking to one of the guys that was operating one for some time. A very nice fella who explained how much work he could get done in a short span of time. On the walk back to my car I was admiring the mostly finished buildings taking a beeline to look into windows. Out of pure simple curiosity I noticed a door was slightly a jar and I stepped inside to look around. We had spent the last two days with a realtor looking at more than a dozen properties. One was a pent house in summerland near some kind of casino that was $2.9 million. I vaguely recall these were about 1.5 million so comfortably within reason. The little tiny pool with an infinity edge was rather cute and I thought it had marginal functionality but very effective as a visual effect in framing The view. I thought their designer was moving very nicely in a direction that resonated with my General preferences. For the most part I thought the lay out and sense of vertical space was good and room sizes seemed decent or occasionally tight. For what it was overall I'd say it was acceptable for what I would require. I have to confess at this moment it suddenly struck me that they probably prefer that I'm escorted in looking at their properties. I had respectfully kept a mask on from entry to exit... But I did leave immediately at this point. I went on to look at another property that had a guy working on some tile by the window. I was admiring the walkway with the bubbling water... I'm not so sure I'd really like that because of the litigation hazard if somebody slipped on a wet surface or tripped if slightly buzzed or intoxicated? So why only four stars and not five? My overall sense of Las Vegas compared to other places I've been looking at lately leaves Vegas only marginally cheaper over California. I just came back from Houston where I saw several homes on double and triple the land...brand new Homes that were double the size and in some cases backing to Lake Houston with private docks and simply gorgeous at half the price. Yeah I know it's humid and they get hurricanes... Plus I know property taxes and mud taxes push to tax bite up to 3%, but that's only until I reach age 65 when the school tax portion drops off. The cost for properties like this are generally half the price of Vegas. Property taxes double or triple Nevada more or less. So I think four stars is appropriate. It's not really dropping down to three stars yet and there's no way this is actually five stars. It is nice and well executed... But I've had a home in Malibu, and now I reside with a professional football player next door, that's successful sculptor backing up to my backyard... And although my house is nominally humble I have an accurate sense that four stars is about right more or less.

We hired Kristie, owner of Reveal Interior Design, who came highly recommended. It turned out to be the best decision we made. On Reveal's website they offer several different services from consults to full home remodels. Because we were out of state for a few months while we designed and furnished the interior of our home we worked remotely with Kristie and her team so they could get a feel for our styles, color palette and what we liked and disliked. We shared Pinterest boards, emails, and websites. Eventually we met in person where they presented us with at least two design style choices of colors, materials, furniture, and artwork for each room we were renovating. Once selected they gave us full color renditions which looked amazingly lifelike. This was especially helpful in visualizing everything and making any necessary changes. In the end they were able to meld the different design styles almost every couple possess into a home which is show quality but at the same time is warm, welcoming, with a lived-in vibe. Kristie not only consulted with us on the interior, but also the outdoor living spaces, and exterior paint color. In total, Kristie designed and furnished our kitchen, wet bar, great room, theater room, office, loft, 5 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, spa, casita, and gym. We have recommended her to neighbors and would not hesitate to use her again. She is fabulous!

First, the design work that she did, and the effort made on the presentation to me on her design proposal and materials was top notch. This ain't my first remodel rodeo (well, it's my 3rd one). I told Kylee that I placed full trust in her design - because that's what I hired her for. Even when I was waffling a bit in some areas, I asked Kylee for her recommendation and followed it (remember our microwave back and forth?). Her ideas came out spot on every time. For the project management, all I can say is good luck doing a complete remodel in the middle of covid (this review is several months after the remodel was completed). We looked at 5 contractors, and I selected one which she had worked with previously. Let's face it, no remodel will go perfectly to plan - mine certainly did not. BUT, it's about everybody (project manager, contractor, and owner) all taking the right attitude here. We were all chill when we ran into glitches, but nothing that didn't work out just fine at the end. I am very happy overall with the resulting remodel. Thank you, Kylee.

We have been in our house (1329 sq ft) 19 years and wanted to update it and make it stylish. By his yelp reviews and being listed as one of the top 10 designers in Las Vegas in Houzz magazine; we decided on Ken Wolfson Design. From Sept 11 2018 until just before Christmas we were stuck in the Ken Wolfson tornado of bull crap. He's the man of a thousand designs. Never lands the plane! Constantly rescheduling appointments at the last minute. Inconveniencing us constantly. His designs were ridiculous. At one point he wanted to put a urinal in the master bathroom. At another point he wanted to shrink the master bedroom to 11 x 9, saying Las Vegas put too much Importance on large master bedrooms. He quoted us a crazy low amount for everything, construction, furniture ... he was working with"Fresh Design" at the time but they got into a tiff and stopped working together. Ken then told us he has a new contractor "ABC Contracting" we looked them up at the Better Business Bureau and at the NV State Contractors Board, but they weren't listed. Turns out they are a California licensed co. We found that out on our own because he refused to return our calls when we asked about ABC's license. He continuously danced around licensing questions and at one point asked us to get the permits in our name. That is very unethical. In mid December he showed up at our home in a panic and sweating. He thought we had called the NV State contractors board on him for impersonating a licensed contractor. He said he was certain he was going to be arrested as soon as he walked in our house. We calmed him down and assured him we did nothing of the sort. Honestly he was acting paranoid, in a panic and sweating profusely. I'm really wondering what was really going on with him. After he left I told my husband that Ken Wolfson is no longer allowed in our home. So Ken Wolfson provided many floorplans and designs but nothing that was legitimate. Construction never began. His price quote was about three times under what it should've been. Basically he drew a bunch of pictures did a lot of fast talking made $5000 for the deposit. Sadly we feel like we got a cheap because he could've destroyed our house and then left. My advice stay way far away from Ken Wolfson design and his partner "Greg" is just as shady as he is. There are so many other details I haven't shared. I should have given this review a year ago but It's so frustrating and embarrassing to see how gullible we were.

I wanted…read moreto live in the space--to open every drawer, use every fixture, and really test the quality of the work. Now that the dust has settled, I can say without hesitation that hiring Merge for our kitchen and guest bathroom remodel was the best decision we could have made. Our journey with them actually began back in late February of 2025 when we met the team at a home show. We were upfront with them that, for personal reasons, we wouldn't be able to start the physical construction until the fall. Instead of pushing for a quick sale, they offered realistic, professional guidance. They explained that a proper design-to-completion cycle is actually a 6-8 month process. I am so glad they set that expectation early. We started our formal design meetings in March, actual demolition began in mid-August, and the project was fully completed by late October. Because they mapped this out so clearly, we never felt rushed or behind schedule. From start to finish, it was clear that this women-owned business operates differently than your typical contractor. They were incredibly organized, setting clear expectations by sitting us down and laying out exactly how the process would look. Heather, our primary contact, was phenomenal. She truly collaborated with us rather than just dictating design. We provided a budget and a general sense of our style, and the team took it from there. One of the things we appreciated most was their design philosophy. Instead of overwhelming us with unlimited choices, they took the time to understand our taste and would present us with no more than three perfectly curated options. If we were stuck, they would fine-tune the selection until it was perfect. They listened intently to what mattered to us--spacing, functionality, storage, and ambiance--and translated that into a design that fits our lives perfectly. Once the construction phase began in August, the level of professionalism remained unmatched. The nine-week build was smooth because communication was the backbone of the process. We received a note every single morning detailing exactly who would be in our house and what specific tasks would be completed that day. Furthermore, on the rare occasion we did need to reach out to them, their response was immediate--usually within 30 minutes. They didn't just reply to the text; they actively addressed the concern immediately. The various contractors they brought in were professional, polite, and extremely respectful of our living space. Any minor issues that popped up--as they do in any construction project--were dealt with instantly. The team's attention to detail was validated during our final walkthrough. Before we could even point out small cosmetic touch-ups, the team had already identified them and corrected them on the spot. Now, three months later, the craftsmanship holds up beautifully. We are absolutely in love with the new space. If you are looking for a team that offers honest guidance on timelines, respects your budget, and manages a project with military-grade organization, look no further than Merge. We recommend them for any project, large or small. I have attached before and after pictures for review.

Other companies insisted I get rid of my favorite thing about MY bathroom. 2) they were exceptionally kind 3) they were willing to work with my budget to get the project completed. There were "companies" quoting me the same service for 10-20% higher... WITHOUT license and insurance. That's CRAZY. My initial consult began with Heather. She managed the project and was so professional. From providing me my quote to bringing me all my specs in person. Fantastic experience! During the project, her team was so thoughtful and punctual. Showed up every morning before I left to work and earned my trust to leave them to work in my home independently. I have 3 dogs that are a bit high maintenance. Her team was SO great in being conscious of my needs and the needs of my dogs. Heather's team, Alex and Edgar were so kind as to even get to know my dogs so that my dogs would be comfortable as they moved in and out of my House. Also while they worked, they wore booties and kept my bedroom clean while they were worked. Every day, my bathroom was sealed neatly and the picked up where they left off. The project was completed without a single issue. I couldn't be happier. TL;DR: BEST priced company, and the BEST service around. VERY easy to work with. VERY nice and professional people.
