Odyssey was quick to respond and when he showed up he did everything to assure my wife and I that he would be able to take care of the issue we were facing and would make the insurance stuff less of a nightmare to deal with. HE DID JUST THAT. He and his team, Taylor and Ken, were able to mitigated our damages in just a couple days, they were nice and courteous, and provided so much peace of mind. I cannot thank them enough. While I hope I never have to face this type of emergency again, I know who I'll be calling if it happens!

I appreciate that China (the dispatcher) and then later Dominic (the plumber answering the call) were so communicative. Dominic took care of my sink right away but was able to show me a leak. He was concerned that because it was so late he didn't want to start replacing things (to stop the leak) and not have everything I needed and leave me without a sink, so he came back 2 days later and replaced the garbage disposal (which is where the water was leaking from) He also cleared the bathroom sink (which was draining slowly) in like 10 minutes. Dominic (Sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was very tidy, cleaned up after himself and was very personable. He was nothing but nice and professional and I appreciate all the help he gave. Over all, great communication and a good (albeit expensive... isn't it always?) experience.

First, Juan came out and gave a verbal estimate, which was quickly followed up by a formal, itemized quote. Veronica adjusted the quote based on my budget and priorities, and the work was done the next day! Their crew pulled up to my house at 6:45 but waited until 7 to ring my doorbell (no idea why the other review said they started at 5am). We walked my property and I answered all questions and they immediately got to work! They removed tons and tons of concrete slabs and pavers and dirt (40 tons? 60? more? It was at least 2 trailers full and a large green dumpster filled to the brim!) from my front and back yards. They even used a backhoe! After everything was cleared away, they raked out the dirt to even it all out, and meticulously cleaned up any mess. I've never seen people work so hard, so fast, for so many hours (7am to 3pm). It's backbreaking labor and they would take turns swinging the sledgehammers when they needed to catch their breath -- there was zero downtime except a short lunch. Plus, they seemed to be actually enjoying themselves, as they were laughing and chatting the whole time without ever slowing down. It was pretty amazing to witness.

I'm not a customer of Advanced Roofing, and you shouldn't be either. Allow me to explain…read more Do you enjoy being woken up at 4AM? How about a roofing company parking their truck and trailer in your yard without permission? In the City of Phoenix, we have a Noise Ordinance (23-12 / 23-14h). It prohibits a company from creating unreasonably loud, disturbing and unnecessary noise. Construction including erection, excavation, demolition, alteration or repair of any building within 500 feet of any inhabited structure, other than between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. from May 1 to and including September 30 and between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. beginning October 1 and including April 30 on non-holiday weekdays. I walk outside to discover a Ram 2500 and a construction dump trailer backed up into my yard. The company, nor my neighbor contacted me to ask for permission. I shouted at the crew on the roof to move the vehicle. Mind you, the space that this trailer was in is very narrow, and this trailer was within inches of my stucco exterior. I called the number on the sign that was in my neighbors yard and the phone was answered by a man by the name of Mark, (Mark happens to be the name listed on the ROC (Registrar of contractors) website as the qualifying party). I explained that his crew parked a vehicle and trailer in my yard without permission, and began construction outside of allowable hours. Now here comes the juicy part.. Mark wasn't friendly about this what-so-ever. He had a pretty brazen tone with me and had excuses for everything. He tried to explain that they start early for the health of the crew. It's nice to hear that he's worried about the health of his crew, but something tells me he's not worried about their health as much as he claims considering Advanced Roofing LLC does NOT have a current workman's compensation policy! If Mark had been nicer on the phone to me, I would have dropped the issue altogether. He was pretty rude, so I dialed up the Construction noise complaint hotline for the City of Phoenix and filed a complaint. The inspector who called me was pretty shocked that they parked a work vehicle in my yard without permission and without due regard began roof work in a residential area at 4AM. When the site foreman ( I didn't get his name) showed up he began fixing the gravel that the truck and trailer disturbed. He was very apologetic about the crew parking in my yard and said he didn't know why they would do that. This immediately shows the foreman's dishonesty, because he had already been on site earlier and noticed where the truck was parked. He didn't seem to have an issue with it until I brought it to their attention. Con #1. Terrible lack of customer service. Con#2. Poor management/ownership skills. Con#3. No Workmans Comp policy. Con#4. Contractors bond amount is pretty low at $6750 Mark, I hope you realize that if you handled this better you would have not gotten a call from the City or this highly negative review of your company. I hope you'll take this as a lesson and get things figured out.
