Previously had Blue Fox replace our door when I backed my truck into it. We had it replaced with an insulated door. Our original garage door opener later died, and we had Blue fox replace it with a jackshaft opener, at which time they "adjusted" the rails. Everything was great. Great service. The price seemed appropriate. They did great work. This morning, a year after having the opener installed, I opened the garage door and then when I tried to close it the door went crooked and got stuck half way open. We called blue fox and they could not come out until the next day. I understand if you're busy, but we can't even close our garage door. So, it's like my front door is unlocked, except every single person driving by can see it. An elderly woman and a disabled man. What are we supposed to do? read more

We had Jeremy come out to give us a quote after getting his name as a referral. We already had other companies give us a quote. Jeremy was definitely the most friendly person that came. He was not pushy at all like the others, didn't come off as a typical salesman, and responded very promptly to all my questions. We had Ryan do the installation. I am so impressed with this company! They installed a replacement garage door opening system for us after the builder installed system in our new house failed. The installer we had was great, knowledgeable & price was great compared with the price to repair the existing low quality system. I've been having issues with my garage door closing so after trying to troubleshoot it myself I contacted BlueFox based on the yelp recommendation and reviews. I was able to schedule a next day appointment for a tech to come out and provide an assessment of my door. Gabe was my tech and he provided excellent customer service throughout the process. He knew exactly what was wrong with my door within a minute of me explaining to him what was happening and looking at the system. It took him 15 minutes to replace the broken sprocket and gear. Reliable and Trustworthy! Those are the two things you look for when acquiring any home service. It's what I consider key when fixing garage door issues. Shout out to Jason at Blue Fox and customer service specialist who helped with scheduling on a Saturday morning! So on a Saturday morning, attempted to open the garage door and wouldn't lift more than an inch off the ground. Tried manual lift and it was not too heavy to lift and noticed that carriage brought the door down smoothly but couldn't pull it out. After talking to some experts - hints that door spring may be broken. Saturday service was hard to come by and found Blue Fox via Yelp. Called and got into tech's schedule despite a full day of work. Got text for confirmation and Jason was at the door at scheduled time. Super informative and identified issue as broken springs. While the quote for parts, labor and service included seemed pricey ~ close to $500, I needed to be able to get out of there rather than wait till Monday; no guarantee that others would be cheaper for this kind of work. Jason worked swiftly and got done with the repair and installation in 30min. Super efficient and explained how to conduct the annual tests. Very impressed with the service! Previously, I left a bad review for this company because the tech never showed up and I was never contacted again even after three phone calls. I complained to them when I called him and the owner text me and sent me his personal number. I called and left him a message and within the hour he called me back scheduled me to come out so that they could do my garage door and took $100 off of my price. First Class operation. On time, on budget and great work.

The drive belt on my 17 year old LiftMaster needed to be replaced. Met with Gabe from Blue Fox, he explained that the drive belt and rail should be replaced together and gave me a competitive quote. I gave Gabe an approval and he proceeded to remove the existing drive belt/rail and install a new one. After the install, he adjusted the door open/close travel. The process took 30 minutes and now the garage door opens/closes just like it was when it was new. Added Blue Fox to my contacts for any future Garage Door service and recommend them. read more

Not sure how they have such high reviews, considering that they seem to be such novices. Terrible service. A year and I am STILL fighting with the doors as they LEAK and are NOT ALIGNED. They jackhammer on the way down because the tracks are not straight. (8 days ago I tried to reach out to them for warranty work - crickets). RUDE!! Blue Fox was supposed to be a 3 day install. Took 3 weeks. They were unable to figure out how to make it go up correctly. They had to hire a competitor company to come figure out how to fix their mistakes, get the proper type of lubrication, install the correct size springs, and add bracing that Blue was clueless should have been there. The A1 tech was able to understand the reasons for it not working just by looking at it, when the Blue techs were still scratching their heads clueless. 3 novice installers. They used my tools and supplies (ladders, saw horses, etc.) without even bothering to ask. I would have said yes, if they had been polite, but to use a homeowners supplies "at will" is just rude. They lied and tried to convince me to get a center track and told me that a side mount would not hold the weight of the door. Craftsman disagreed. Turns out - Blue confessed they said it simply because they are not that familiar with side mounts, so it scared them. Door would not go down on its own- I was the one that looked at the rails from the side and noticed that they were bowed and needed support to keep them from sagging and the door would then start down on its own weight. Was told that the ceiling lights would need to be moved as they were obstructing the supports. I paid a contractor to move the lights and then Blue decided they did not want to make new supports, (I guess because they spent more time than they expected on this job and were loosing money), and fed me a line that it was fine. After the doors were installed - the doors all of a sudden got stuck in the open position. It was a Saturday night and they do not answer their phones on the weekend. My antique car collection had to be moved to a neighbors garage to keep them from being exposed. On Monday when I finally got a hold of them - they wanted to make an appointment to close the door on Thursday. They corrected one problem by installing a center track without my approval, and when they were asked by my roommate if I approved it - he looked stunned (he new he was caught) and hesitantly replied YES, which was a lie. I was completely blind sided by his "resolution". They then charged my credit card for the balance even tho I did not authorize it, in addition to the contract stating that the balance was due "upon completion" which it still was not. read more

Our garage door panels were cracking, so we called Blue Fox for a repair,but ended up buying a new door. Gabe was our first contact with Blue Fox. He check led out the door, discovered how it had deteriorated and explained our options. He temporarily put a bandaid fix to keep the door from failing. We ordered the new door, and it was worth waiting for. Daniel started the job by himself, and worked diligently and methodically.
