Sammy came out on Tuesday after I sent a Yelp request on Sunday. Our opener was not opening the garage the whole way. He was prompt and way nicer than the last company that helped us with our garage doors. No drama, told me how it is and what he saw the issue to be. Assessed our doors, springs and wheels. He adjusted the tension on the spring so that the door opener would do less work to open the door (easy fix first). Gave a Yelp discount, which was nice. He suggested new wheels that were heavier duty for a fair price, plus a 10 year warranty. Showed me where to lube them every year. Pointed out a metal tear in the garage door for me to watch to see if it grows at all, marked it with a sharpie. All in all, I liked him. He seemed very knowledgeable, honest and a nice person. As some of you may know, there are some untrustworthy people in this business so they can come back and make money off you. However when I made the call, freely told me what May be wrong and gave me his price. I looked up what I needed and tried to do it myself and couldn't. I called him back, and got back to me right away, and had scheduled me in right away. While he was there, this guy was not only polite at 7am in the morning, but he was willing to teach me about the mechanics of a logic board, he taught me how to tighten the springs on the door, and why you want it a specific way (so the garage door doesn't slam down). Helped with the sensors and more. These or things I could have easily needed to call him back for because of me not knowing, and he willingly taught me some little things. Told me about the motor and how it should run forever, told me why there was a burn mark on the panel, again he could have totally made something up, but he was honest. To me honesty is everything! I reached out to him regarding my garage door because silly me had ran in to it slightly with the fin of car and it wouldn't close.
