What a fun locally owned brewery. Came on a Taco Tuesday night and it was busy, but in a good way! Trivia games were being played, lots of families were out to support and the Tacos smelled amazing! But back to the beer- that's what you came for - Over a dozen on tap with tastings, flights or just commit to your choice with different sizes to choose from. We tasted about 6 with explanation and sharing with each. Such joy and passion as they talked about their brewing. Please note- no shared secrets or recipes were disclosed in the process... lol All in all it was a fun night- we will be back for the White Sage IPA and the Pineapple Golden Ale (summer must have- beach and poolside perfection) But we also can't wait to see what these brewmasters have up their creative sleeves coming up! Go and support these local boys

Service met us with a smile. They offered a splash (pro-tip try the Smashing Brown Ale), of whatever we asked to make sure we liked what we ended up ordering. Smart move Blue Fire! The food truck (Abarcason) was amazingly good, and the beer was tasty good. What more can you ask for?

Friendly family owned place. Dog friendly and open air location with inside and outside seating.. Enjoyable for trivia on Tuesday nights. All things going well at this newish (new to me) brewery - the only thing holding them back for 5 stars for me is a solid lineup of beer. We tried several and found them to be variable quality. A few we really liked. We will be back in a few months to try again

Blue Fire recently opened and they are a welcome addition to the local brewery scene. The beers are tasty and the selection is maturing, but with the enthusiasm and knowledge the staff has here, I think you will see better and better things. Cheers to Blue Fire and I will look forward to having another of your pints very soon.

I'm watching Bob Ross, Zen master and Olympics and tennis and drinking 4.7oz (too honest) tasters of six beers. Just ordered two Blue/Goat burger ready in 10-15 as I was here early. My old dog is resting. We visit a brewery after her therapy each Friday. I'll post the menu and beer for today as an example. Every taster was good. Great variety. Perfectly friendly place. You will not be disappointed here.

Great location, good selection, friendly employees. Stopped in after riding the bike path from Vista to San Marcos. Tommy was incredibly friendly and helpful.

You order at the Bar counter for your Brew & for the tacos. The food is made at their permanent fixture food truck outside. The tacos are amazing and generously portioned. The Birria was my favorite! Carne asada was good too. The staffers are nice and ready to serve. There is high communal and individual table top seating inside and sports playing on the TV. Sipping on a sweet & scrumptious mead has been around for centuries but not everyone knows what all the Buzz is about. Mead is an alcoholic beverage made from honey. I'm a cider and Mead kinda gal in general so this is right up my alley. Meadiorcrity specifically specializes in Mead. Nothing Mediocre about it tho!!! So many flavors to choose from. On our visit we each got a flight that includes 4 tastings. That way we could try most of what's offered on tap! I liked each taster and each one was my favorite ~~ for its own unique reason. Some had notes of mint, cardamom, and or lime. All had such complementary notes that fused beautifully together! We enjoyed sitting on a cozy couch and chilled and chatting like we were in a cozy living room space. Family friendly and they have games available to play while you are there. Pros: This spot is a good place to hang out if you're looking for a casual bar with activities like billiards and darts. The vibe is fun without being overly packed, which made it easy to enjoy the space. They have darts (which are free, you just leave your ID), a pool table, and a music queue system where you can pick songs to play, which adds an interactive element to the night. I didn't try the food but the drinks were solid and did not disappoint. The overall energy of the place was welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. It's one of those spots where you can relax, hang out, and have a good time. Cons: Parking here is probably the biggest downside. The lot is really small and gets packed quickly, so I wouldn't recommend relying on it. We parked nearby after eating at Copper Kings Burgers and just walked over, which ended up being way easier. Verdict: If you're looking for a fun, chill bar in San Marcos with games, music, and good drinks, this is a great spot to check out. Just plan ahead for parking, but overall it's definitely worth it and I would come back again!

But I can't tell if most people were just in the bar area - we were able to get a booth! The place was nice and loud since every one was having a good time. Several parties of 3+ and I saw 1 party of 6. They were doing an explorer menu from Yucatan. Interesting thing to do during Black History Month - I won't lie. I was surprised to see it. But we ordered from that menu. We ordered the fried plantain that came with a sauce and cilantro, sausage and pepper soup, and the BBQ pork. I enjoyed everything except for the plantain. They were basically a huge disc that was slightly crunchy. I was not expecting that since if I want a crunchy plantain, I will eat actual plantain chips. The soup was fantastic! It was a bit spicy but not overwhelming and full of flavor. Wish I ordered a bowl instead of a cup. And last but not least, the BBQ pork was very good. Served on lettuce as well, so if you are doing keto you can omit eating the tortillas that came with the dish. It also had pickled red onions and a salsa. The salsa was mild and with everything in the taco, flavors were balanced. We also ordered 6 Cajun wings. But today, they didn't seem as flavorful, a pity really. A grilled cheese was ordered but with hamburger meat inside. That seemed good and it came with fries. Washed all of this down with a sour that was called Boozy Berry & my fiancé had a West Coast beer. Food was enjoyable, atmosphere was fun. We will be back again.
