I've never been more disappointed in a company. I am a new homeowner. They called me for a "free a/c tune up". We scheduled it, but they have now called me 4 times to "reschedule". I get it, I'm a "free tune up" but there was actually something I needed to have done and needed an estimate from them, but they never showed the last reschedule and they never called back. If I could give them zero stars I would. They sold me a new HVAC - a fancy variable speed that has had nothing but issues since it was installed in March 2022. In 15 months the system has needed the motor replaced 2x. Multiple service calls because the personnel does not know how to service the unit properly. It's not cooling (it never gets off stage 1 - per the dial) and I was told that my expectations to cool to 68 at night were "unrealistic". There are SO many issues with this company I would stay FAR AWAY if you can. They only care about upselling and they can't even service what they sell. read more

Our air conditioner pan started started flooding so we called and had a tech come out. They came out two days later (which is fine), did the job and charged us around $500. Well within 2 weeks we had the same issue happen again and it ruined our dry wall. I called, they sent a tech out who confirmed the job was done incorrectly and thankfully fixed the problem. I was told a manager would call me to discuss the drywall repair for our ceiling. Never happened, instead I got a phone call asking for a 5 star review. I explained I hadn't had a 5 star experience and again was told a manager would call me. I received a call, but was at work and called back asap. I had to leave a message, and again never received a return call. Left a final message the next day and have never heard back. Seemed like they were going to do the right thing, but never followed through. Was given a call two days after leaving the review, was told by the supervisor they would look into it, and again never heard back. Seriously, don't use this company. The technicians are nice and seem knowledgeable however the way this business is run is the problem. The tech said he *thought* there might be a refrigerant leak and said he could check and they normally charge a bit over $400 to check but that he could try to find it quick and not charge me. Well, a little later after he didn't find a leak he says he spoke to his manager and has to charge me the $400+ flat fee, despite spending maybe 30 minutes checking with his sniffer. I bought a $30 refrigerant sniffer on amazon and found the leak right away. Charging over $400 for less than an hour of someone's time is highway robbery ESPECIALLY when you don't find the source of the problem. read more

My AC was not blowing cold air and in 1 room there seemed to be no air coming out the registers. I thought duct replacement would be the answer since they are more than 30 years old although the unit is only 5 years old. I called Sunrise Heat and Air and spoke to a very nice lady who set an appointment for a free quote, to accommodate my schedule. On schedule Jesse and Alex arrived and were friendly, clean, wore masks and put on shoe covering which I appreciate. They answered all my questions. They found the actual problem, a bad defrost control board. They were able to replace it and add a pound of refrigerant for $543 ,they also give me an estimate for duct replacement and for a mini split unit and maintenance recommendations. I am very happy with the service I have received so . I recommend Sunrise Air & Heat and now plan to use Sunrise Air & Heat as my AC guys. read more

I would give this company zero stars if I could. Whatever you do, don't you ever pay for their services in advance. I made that mistake, and because I saw that they charged my credit card twice, I lost confidence in the company and decided to cancel. It took almost a month, and a lot of telephone calls and headaches for them to finally issue me the refund. They kept on lying to me saying that the refund had been processed, and other misguided arguments that were very upsetting, to say the least. We hired this company to take care of our air conditioners. We trusted them when last year we spent $2300, in equipment to improve our unit like a surge protector and a UV light . 2 weeks ago we called them because our unit was not weking properly. This time they said our unit needed some equipment to work well and they charged us $770, for that. As customers who TRUSTED them we agreed. We were astonished when they said that the new equipment they put in didn't solve the problem and we needed a new compressor. On the top of that they said that it would be better if we just buy a new AC unit from them. So our AC that was in great shape according to them needed to be replaced? In the end they tried to sell us the MOST EXPENSIVE unit compared to other companies like Hoofman and Cox amon others and refused to refund our $770, unless we bought the unit with them . So here is our advice: DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY!!! You will end up having problems like we did. read more

When I called Sunrise heating and air, I was surprised to get an immediate answer on the phone and a very kind person that told me that he can check the condition of my A/C that was leaking at the same day. I was very impressed with the prompt response and was hoping that he'll be able to do it since it was in such a short notice & usually I can't get any one to check the situation in the day that I put a service call. But he was honoring his ward and came in the same day in the afternoon when he told me that he'll. He checked the A/C and gave me a very reasonable price to fix the drain line that caused the water to leak from the ceiling down to the floors. I was very happy that I called James and he was so prompt and honest and managed to put a new drain line in the unit and fixed the problem. I couldn't be happier! He gave me an excellent service, reasonable price and came in a timely manner, sooner that I expected! I'll definitely recommend Sunrise heating and AIr to any body who looking for an honest, reasonable priced and great company to depend on to fix their issue in a timely manner. James is the best in that field from all the 21 companies that I've called and non of them was as quick and fair priced as he was. Plus very kind and nice person to deal with! I really appreciate his professionalism and excellent work that he did for my A/C unit that I'll be happy to recommend James very highly to any body that I know.
