Our group kept getting larger with the final headcount of 26 people. Having several options of limos/buses, Benny was able to guide me in choosing the best option for our group. Benny responds fast to my messages and is very easy to work with! The day of the event, our driver, Doston came early so that gave me enough time to place our welcome presents inside the bus to surprise our guests. Doston helped me and he is also a great driver. We got to our locations on time. The bus itself is beautiful, comfortable, and clean. We really appreciate Sunshine Luxury Star and all its staff! Thank you Benny and Doston! I booked Sky 1 Limousine for my sister's bachelorette party. We took a party bus 40 minutes into…read morethe California foothills to go wine tasting at four wineries. Pros: The driver was on time, polite, and kind. The bus itself was spacious and met our needs as far as setting up bluetooth and playing music. The driver followed our itinerary well and was on time for pick ups and drop offs. Cons: On the way back home, the bus started smoking out of the AC vents - it became overheated in the 100+ degree temperatures. After a full afternoon of wineries and about 20 minutes away from our destination, all 13 women had to evacuate on the side of a country road in the middle of no where. We had to carry all our belongings (ice chests, etc) to a small dirt side road in sweltering 100 degree temperatures. The bus was unable to continue the journey, so we had to call ubers and get relatives/friends to come pick us up and take us the rest of the way. While I understand that things happen, I expected more from Sky 1 Limousine in regards to a refund. They offered to cover the costs of the Uber (there was only 1) and refund us for the final 30 minutes of the booking. That is a meager 1/13th of the total cost - over $2100 - which means we will be refunded just barely more than $100. The bus breaking down really put a damper on a wonderful day. We are lucky we had relatives who were willing and able to come get us, given the heat. If any of the women were especially heat-sensitive or had pre-existing conditions that made being out in the heat/ standing for a long period of time difficult, this could have been a much worse situation. I expected more from Sky 1 Limousine and I am extremely disappointed in the service we received. I would not recommend them to anyone moving forward.

I have never used the towncar services at Grand Limousine, but I did have a negative experience…read morewith one of their drivers. I was driving to work one day when this asshole in a black car cuts me off just so that he can jockey 3 car lengths up into a line of cars waiting for the red light to change. Not an entirely uncommon experience, but when I split lanes on my motorcycle (riding between cars) and drifted past his window, he had a big dumb ass smile on his face aimed in my direction like he was proud of himself for putting me in the way of danger. He also made an offhand comment that I did not happen to hear, but I assertained immediately that it was nothing nice. You know, behavior that is commiserate of a complete prick. Well, I hit him off the F-word and a middle digit in reply and continued up the center lane. Well, my fur was rubbed the wrong way to say the least, and I was a bit shaken from the close call. So I made it a couple of blocks up and pulled off to the right and waited for him to pass. I am pretty handy with the cell phone camera even while I am riding you see, so I got the equiptment ready. This was going to be a much easier way of doing things than trying to locate a pen for his licence plate number. I followed his ass all the way down California Street, from Fillmore Street to down to the Hyatt Regency at the Embarcadero. A game of cat and mouse ensued for the duration. I don't normally engage in road rage behavior, but I was really mad that someone could be so flip about someone's personal safety, and find it funny that he had put me in the way of harm. There were several points in the game where you could tell that he was confident that he could get away from me, executing quick lane switches and subsequent acceleration that would only land him behind another line of cars. When are car drivers going to learn that you can't get away from a bike in gridlocked traffic? If he managed to get any distance at all away from me, I would close that gap by riding in between cars. He ran around and around a few blocks downtown trying to get away from me with no success. I had him stopped at a light and I pulled out my phone to get a snap of his plate, and the fuckin meathead security guard lookin' goon burst out of his car like a caged animal and yelled "what are you doin'?" and threw a piece of paper wadded up into a ball at me. I think it bounced off my helmet. He then pulled into the Hyatt in the recognition of defeat and ran up to one of the bell boys to stand next to him for backup. I pulled up on the sidewalk and hurled insults for a full minute, and you can believe that there were many heads turned to see what the commotion was all about. After I got done calling him out in front of his peers, I phoned in a complaint, using the data off of the picture to identify him to the dispatcher. The dispatcher was in disbelief about the whole affair and took down my information. He promised that he would hand this over to human resources, and affirmed that 'someone would call me back' for resolution to the whole matter. Well folks, Grand Limousine never called me back to set this unfortunate occurrence straight. The fact that they promised to, but never returned my call is indicative of the character of this business. That they never returned my call says a lot of things about the company, none of them good.
