I went to the Blue Bell for an evening meal in a party of 3 on a Friday night. The place was busy, we had booked a table in advance.
The pub is a lovely country pub and the setting is great.
We each had a main and desert and were thoroughly impressed. I had the beer batter fish and chips, the chips were fab and the fish was good. The only thing that let the meal down was the batter on the fish was soggy, so it was left to one side.
For dessert I had the chocolate fudge fixation cake- a must for any chocoholic, it was delicious.
For 2 courses and 2 drinks the bill came to around £20 a head.
Good food and a great atmosphere. We will be returning! read more
