Obviously I can understand staff being stressed but I don't think it's fair for it to be taken out on the customers. Still love the place though and the rest of the staff, especially the younger ones, are kind and accommodating.

Makes for a lovely relaxing meal. Along with this they are now serving fantastic meals, specialising in traditional English cuisine they never fail to produce a great meal. The drinks are always served to an exceptional standard whether it be ale, lager or spirits. However, this pub is known for its ales and lagers in particular. Drinks are all very reasonably priced and service is always top class. This pub really is fantastic and its so lucky that its off the beaten track of the town center otherwise it would surely always be heaving! The main downsides to the pub are lack of entertainment or a food menu, however this pub does what it says on the tin it serves great drinks in a great setting!
