I had my wedding reception there many years ago and it was great, the food was lovely and it was a nice friendly atmosphere around the place.

Once seated I started to look around and couldn't help but admire the state of the light fixtures (see picture), tired floors and shabby upholstery. Looking at the prices on the menu it was hard to connect the dots! Service was slow to come over and take our orders, even though we gave her drinks, apps and mains in one go! Staff were extremely pleasant when we had their attention, but I think they were either new at this or just struggled keeping a handle on their tables. The apps and main plates were quite good, the desserts were a little disappointing and sounded better on the menu! Overall, if you have two hours to spare and not in a huge rush for dinner this is your place!
