The rooms are a bit small, but that was expected knowing it is an older property. Everything was super clean, even the bathroom grout which is one of my pet peeves. ;) I read that there was a continental breakfast, which sounded underwhelming, so we had planned to go out for a bite. One look at the spread though and we decided to stay. Quiche, yogurts, fresh baked pastries, cereals, juices, and some breads and spreads went way beyond 'continental'. Everything was tasty and we had a nice chat with the sweet girl at the desk who was doing that job and keeping the bar restocked. So happy we decided to give this sweet, local spot a try! That included a wedding party that was booked somewhere else, that unfortunately had also lost power. Twenty-six needed rooms and Suzanne and her crew made the wedding party VERY happy! The front desk staff were nice and friendly with my wife and I. This Springhill is located in Kalispell, in the newer shopping area. The outside of was nicely landscaped and even had a putting green. This is a typical Springhill. If you've seen one, you basically know the layout of the room including the sliding glass barn door for the restroom that is the bane of most people who stay at the Springhill. We had a room with a king bed. It was a good stay and they gave me a good night of rest before driving to Spokane. The gym was adequate with ellipticals, treadmills and weights. Breakfast was Bonvoyed with precooked McDonald's type eggs. They also had sausage patties and links. This Springhill is a good hotel. We liked them and glad that they were able to rescue us.

The room was very cute but you may hear kitchen noise as breakfast is being made, this didn't bother us, but if you are a light sleeper you may want to book one of the rooms on the third floor. The house was immaculate, and everything was clearly labeled with helpful instructions. Whether you were heading out for a day in Glacier National Park or relaxing at the lodge, anything you could need was available--maps, bear spray, sunscreen, coolers, even wine and snacks for the trail. There were also cool drinks, water, and freshly baked goods waiting for us each evening--such thoughtful hospitality. Our bedroom was not the largest room in the lodge, but very comfortable. After long hikes in the park, we looked forward to soaking in the hot tub each evening. The backyard had BBQs, lawn games, and picnic tables--it would be a perfect place for a family reunion or even a small wedding. Kayla, our hostess, couldn't have been more helpful. She was warm, engaging, and full of great suggestions for exploring Glacier. She and her coworker Meghan prepared the most delicious breakfasts each morning--beautifully presented and thoughtfully tailored to our dietary needs. This place is truly a treasure. We had a double bed. The room was equipped with a refrigerator and a microwave. The restroom was big. Toiletries include a shampoo conditioner and lotion. The towels were super soft. The water pressure was poor, but manageable. The AC worked well. There was always hot water. Extras: they have coffee and tea in the lobby 24/7. They also had cookies. They have a laundry room and it cost $2.25 to use the washer and/or dryer. The pool is inside and there is a small slide. They also have a small gym. Breakfast. Continental. You can expect hot food selections such as scrambled eggs, potatoes, a protein, oatmeal, and waffles. Cold selections include cereal and yogurt. The only thing I noticed is that they don't replenish some of the items. For example, they ran out of oatmeal and when we asked if they could make more, they said that they could give us instant instead. Which is OK. They also have fresh fruit. Parking is free onsite.
