I stayed at this resort for a random weekend getaway on a budget, and honestly, I'm definitely…read morecoming back! The resort is actually an older condo complex where each unit is privately owned, so you'll find listings on Airbnb and other South Florida vacation rental sites. My unit had everything I needed for a 3-night stay. The location is a major win--it's right on Mid Beach, so you can walk from your room to the sand in about 5 minutes. Plus, the Miami Beach boardwalk connects directly to the property, so you can stroll all the way to South Beach or head north to Surfside. On-site, you've got two convenience stores that sell everything from food and liquor to everyday essentials, like a Walgreens. One of the stores even has a little grill for burgers and sandwiches. There's also jet ski and bike rentals, random offices, and a large swimming pool. And if you're hungry, there's a restaurant called Blue Gin with a huge menu and a hookah bar. For the price and convenience, it's a steal. I totally see this place getting converted into a 5-star resort soon, so check it out while you can! Oh, and be sure to check unit details before booking--mine came with beach chairs, umbrellas, and a balcony, which made the stay even better.

It took us 35 mins to get from the 6th floor to the lobby. The first room we had B5 the door barely locked, you could see through the side of the door and we couldn't get the door to lock. The steps in the loft didn't feel safe to go up and down. We were supposed to have access to the washer and dryer, but it was locked. The edge of the tub was cracked. The whole place needs to be updated. Thank goodness we went through Expedia and they gave us another room through MiaRentals.

Beautiful hotel! We decided to stay at the Setai for our baby moon and had a great experience. Only complaint would be the construction, it was happening on the side of the building, which was pretty loud by the pool area. The massage was great, it was a bit weird that we had to walk in our robes to the other building and then taken to the massage rooms. However the massage was great, they had complimentary teas and snacks. The check out process went smoothly as well and they were able to hold our luggage for a while we did some shopping due to a delay in our flight.

My gf and I stopped through here on our way out before boarding our flights later in the afternoon. If you're toting your luggage and not a hotel guest, you will have to find another hotel to store your luggage while enjoying this most decadent brunch experience. Luckily we arrived early enough to our reservations to sort that out. Reservations are a must if you don't want to wait. The restaurant is gorgeous with various spaces designed differently but keeps to the exotic Asian theme. Dining in the atrium near the water feature in the middle with stage for the musicians is where we had our experience. Olga was our server. She brought us our special beverages not available at the bar: Bloody Mary's and endless bubbly in our glasses The offerings here are more than I can name, but there is something to satisfy every craving. The favorite for me is the caviar bar. It comes with all the proper fixings on a blini with Crème fraîche. Do you need a vodka shot to go with? Yes, that's also available also at the caviar station. Fresh raw oysters, clams or shrimp cocktail is available in abundance with everything else here. The ceviche was great. I passed on all the various noodles but had to have some lamb curry and basmati rice- delicious! I had some Peking Duck and leg of lamb at the meat station. The filet mignon and lamb chops was ordered and brought to the table. The leg of lamb and filet were slightly dry but still good. The lamb chops with chimichurri sauce was amazing- nuances of vibrant flavors. Assorted fresh fruits were a colorful collection of enticements. I saw some papaya and enjoyed its fresh, sweet juiciness. I am not a dessert person but had to try the key like pie. Then of course, the matcha dessert is a sitting temptation next to the pie. So, my dessert spoils were more than intended. What the hell right? Lol That was the sweet ending to my Setai brunch. There was so much more such as bread, fried stuff, eggs, bagel station, toast etc. One can only eat so much. I stuck to enjoying my favorites. The experience is pricey but so worth it. It is truly the best brunch experience I've ever had. - better than Vegas and a cruise ship!! I always have to experience a Setai brunch whenever in Miami!
