Maybe our sales rep (Roosevelt) dropped the ball on sending the cancellation in, who knows. What I do know..... WE DID NOT GET SOLAR PANELS INSTALLED, NOR DID WE RECEIVE ANY FUNDS TO DO SO. There was absolutely no work done, but I have a lien on my property and no one can explain why it's there or how long "underwriting" will take to verify the cancellation. I also do not understand how I can call into the customer service department only to get conflicting answers as to what the process is to get a resolution. After speaking with Malcolm on 2/29 and Oscar and Lorena (supervisor) yesterday and I still can't get any assistance on getting this lien off of our property. For some odd reason, NO ONE that I can speak to in customer service has ANY POSSIBLE way to contact the financial department to help get this situation rectified. Basically, "trust that we'll get it done, maybe, at some point, because we've been so trustworthy up to this point". None of this makes any sense to me...the lack of communication, the process, or the difficulty in getting this handled. Freedom saying the project is cancelled, but our underwriting department doesn't know it yet is CRAZY to me. Lorena was very adamant about making sure that no one else (Mosaic) would hear her say that the project was cancelled. The situation comes off as RETALIATION for canceling the project. How can I have a lien on my property without owing any money and not having any solar panels installed??? By definition of what a lien is for, there should not be one on my property from this company. I wonder if the BBB would agree with what seems like retaliation. Judging from the reviews...it seems as if the ONLY people that have problems with this company are the ones trying to cancel. IT SHOULD NOT BE THIS DIFFICULT........

This is a legit company however they scam you with their words making you believe something that isn't. I was basically scammed into purchasing a solar system with them via the lies of I get a 30% back rebate check which was proven to be a lie. You actually just get a tax credit. The 2nd lie was that this solar bill replaces your electric bill which was another complete lie. I should have known this was to good to be true but the salesman had me convinced and believing that my monthly bill would be cut in half. I'm not say don't go solar however what I'm saying is don't utilize this company. I would like to add that Freedom Forever is a horrible company. The customer service overall is sickening. The communication suck as well. This is just the beginning of the reviews i am about to post on every platform that I can. I've had to go through several obstacles to even get to this point. They also brought a gas-driven power generator to keep our fridge/freezer and other things powered up while they had the mandatory down time to install the inverter. Incredible Salesmanship…read more When you enter a solar installation agreement, you're entering into a long-term business relationship: there is a months-long installation process, followed by the years of workmanship guarantee and technical support. You don't want this with these guys. Run the other way. We're fans of the underdog and tried to give the "local" provider a chance -- even if it seemed a bit pricier. Chris Reilly and Don Tonic are not reliable. We gave the thumbs up at the end of April, signed at the start of May, confirmed that the June deadline of worked for them, and we didn't have "fully" functional panels until December. We paid in full, months ago. We lost our locked mortgage interest rate because the project was delayed. Even now, Don Tonic, the owner and president of the company, will schedule calls where he doesn't show up. He actively ignores texts. The only project progress we've had has been by asking one of his employees to come by. Don Tonic is not responsive. When Don did communicate, he spent a full month repeating: "It will be finished tomorrow." What was particularly infuriating about this was that he would refuse to schedule the team to come out for two days instead of one, insisting that they would finish in one day. He did this over and over, for over a month. That's right: even though he was clearly wrong every single time, he continued to ignore questions, and repeat the same deaf line of "we only need one day", and then delay the scheduling that he is in charge of. We have a 10kW array that yielded max 2kWh a day, despite sunny weather and lack of shade. For non-technical folks: that is very little output given the number of panels we purchased -- even when you account for facing West and a 45 degree tilt. Now the panels have a ground-fault, so zero production. I'm happy to share text conversations with him + pics of the array. I will say the handiwork looks great, since the panels are all black. That said, they made an extra couple of holes in the house without asking us. Their clean-up attempts were rushed because, as noted above, they hadn't even got the panels to work. Go with the company that has a contract clause which protects your production guarantee. Or another small company. It's incredibly exhausting to have to follow up with these guys every day for just the bare minimum. In the warmest sense, it's hurtful. In the coldest sense, this is a business transaction and they are in breach of contract, and apparently, they do not seem to care. I'm giving them two stars because, despite the flexibility they showed at the beginning of the process, in the end: Do the solar panels work? Not right now. Did we lose our interest rate? Yes. Is Solar Plus going to repair the ground fault? Doesn't look like it. Are they still in breach of contract? Yes. Are they responsive about it? No. Are there other options? Yes.
