The splendidly crafted display that includes at least seven varieties of seasonal blooms and berries (hypericum) is like a little work of art...and the aroma is delightful too. The beautiful flowers would be "ahhh...some" all on their own, but that this arrangement was a gifted gracious gesture from a business professional to my husband and me makes them even more appreciated. In the mode of quality knows quality, it is no surprise that this top-notch professional has introduced us to the wonderful work of Blooms. I have often said if I were a wealthy woman in my next life I would have fresh flowers for my bedroom all the time. This arrangement is the perfect size and combination to display there and for the week or so that they'll last I can pretend to be a wealthy woman. Impressive, too, that on a hot day when Blooms had to drive these all the way from Boise to my Eagle home to deliver them, they arrived fresh and chilled as if just taken out of the florist's refrigerator case. Please stay away from this horrid business! My son and daughter in law had a baby and he was my first grandchild. This was a momentous day in our lives so of course I wished to send flowers to the new Mom. I live out of state and thought I'd have good service from a local florist so I choose Blooms. They assured me the flowers would be delivered in the morning. By 3:00 in the afternoon the flowers were not sent. I called and the woman I spoke to said they were sending them out in 5 minutes. Hours went by still no delivery. I phoned them and they were confused about the address of the hospital after I told them the night before where it was. They then told me they didn't deliver to that town. They did not state that the night I ordered the flowers. From then on it was a complete nightmare. I had numerous women calling me and harassing me regarding the delivery. I had told them I was going to dispute the charge and that must be the reason they went quite berserk. I had one woman scream at me that I was a liar, and they continued to call my cell phone through out the evening with harassing statements. They went so far to say they would go into my poor daughter in laws hospital room and remove the arrangement. I'm astonished by what I endured. My daughter in law finally received the ghastly arrangement it was so ugly it looked like a defective prop from Star Trek.I was told there would be a banner welcoming my grandson, there was not They put the hodgepodge of an arrangement in a black bucket like container. Who on Earth would use the color black for a new life???.These people almost ruined my memories of my grandsons birth, but I have come to the conclusion that people are sometimes very cruel. I beg you, don't let these people mar your precious event! Post note- They did indeed remove the flowers from the new mothers hospital room. My son didn't tell me until now. How incredibly vicious and unfathomable. All of this could have been avoided so easily. It was one arrangement for a beautiful new life. If I were a florist I'd take joy in providing that. I can't say enough good things about Blooms! I came in two months before my wedding in a major panic because my original florist person totally flaked out and ghosted on me, and thank God that Blooms was available for my wedding. Miriam was so kind and helpful, and the order process was easy. I was so surprised at the pricing, they quoted me the same as my previous florist. I came in the day before my wedding to look at the bouquets and centerpieces. They had totally exceeded my expectations! Everyone at my wedding loved the flowers! My uncle even noticed and made nice comments about it, saying "I'm a guy and I love these flowers!" after the wedding, my mom kept several of the centerpieces, and even almost a week after the wedding, she is still texting me about how fragrant they are and how nice her house smells. So I originally wrote a fair review, below, because I was disappointed in my bouquet for my wedding. No bride should ever be disappointed in her bouquet. It's an important piece of the wedding and her look. I never want another bride to feel the way I did. I chose Blooms because I read great reviews on this site. Unfortunately my fair and honest review was met with harassment in my Instagram DM's telling me to take my review down. So that being said I do not recommend this flower shop as this person violated my privacy and harassed me instead of trying to fix the problem. Not to mention, I was messaged at 11:00 at night... I added the screenshot of the conversation. Original review: I came here to have my wedding bouquet done. I had a picture of what I wanted my bouquet to look like, I emailed it to her and everything. Thankfully she understood the flowers just not the style of the arrangement -which to me meant the most. I'm not sure how I could have made that more clear. I had my mother pick up my bouquet and it ended up being just this basic bulbous arrangement. If I knew it was going to look that way I honestly would have just made it myself. My photographer ended up pulling from my bridesmaids bouquets (that I made) to help give it my ideal look. Which helped so much! I was disappointed and now that I'm looking at the wedding photos I'm super bummed it wasn't what I wanted. If you're looking for something modern I wouldn't recommend Blooms. read more

I want to thank Bloom for putting together a beautiful birthday bouquet that I had delivered locally. As an out-of-state order, the staff member I spoke to on the phone was very helpful in helping me put an order together quickly, and helped me to put my trust in them to complete a beautiful and meaningful bouquet. They even included a custom card, which featured dried flowers on the outside-- a nice touch that I haven't seen elsewhere. Price is very reasonable for the product received. My son and his wife in CA ordered flowers for me online. When they discovered the flowers wouldn't be delivered until the next day, he called Blooms and explained why the flowers needed to be at my house that day. The person he spoke with told him it was taken care of, and the flowers would be delivered. I was amazed by the beautiful arrangement that arrived. I rarely take the time to write a review but I just have to say that the service I received from Blooms Flowers was exceptional. I live out of state and called Hannah about birthday flowers for my daughter-in-law. I had concerns about delivery time for the next day since I wasn't sure of my daughter-in-law's arrival time at her home or if inclement weather would be a concern if the flowers were left outside. After doing my research on yelp for just the right florist with the best reviews I was pretty disappointed that I had decided to go with Blooms :( The staff was extremely nice and helpful on the phone and my order was processed perfectly and the flowers arrived exactly when promised. Unfortunately when I saw a picture of the flowers I had purchased I was very unhappy about the sheer size of the arrangement. The flowers were of the variety I had requested, but for a $45. arrangement it was no more than a small handful of flowers in a fishbowl. This arrangement was intended to cheer up my 80 year old mother after a surgery that she was terrified to have. Maybe $45. doesn't go as far as it used to, or maybe just not at Blooms. read more

I was very disappointed with Bloom's. We decided to go with them because they were a newer business. We ordered flowers for a funeral and asked for perennials be added that we could plant afterwards for the siblings. We decided on separate boxes so everyone could take them home. Well, no perennials and one box wasn't finished( not stained as the others as well). Some of the flowers were already passed their prime. This, after the owner wanted to 'know' what kind of person our mom was so she could really get a feel for the arrangement. We gave her a good description and it was written down. Oh brother. My little sister just had twin girls and I wanted to pick up some flowers for her on my way to the hospital. I decided to stop in here to see if they had arrangements or could make one for me. The woman inside was fantastic. She said they didn't have too much left but she could definitely arrange something for me with what they had in stock. I told her I wanted to keep it under 60 or 70 dollars ideally and who they were for. In no more than ten minutes she was finished and it was absolutely beautiful. She said she kept it at $55.00 for me and what I got was more than worth it. It's a breath of fresh air when businesses clearly listen and don't try to charge exactly the budget or convince you to go over. This is my first ever YELP review but I felt compelled to express my gratitude and wonderful experience with Elizabeth at Blooms. I am from out of town and have used them twice for two very important occasions. Not only are the arrangements gorgeous and well priced, Elizabeth was a pleasure to work with and very gracious. My second order was a delivery and I unknowingly gave her a past address for the recipient. The flowers were delivered and the next day Blooms was notified that the recipient no longer lives there. Elizabeth called me, explained what had happened, and sent a brand new arrangement to the correct address, free of charge. Unbelievable considering it was my mistake. I like to support local businesses so when my friend asked me to do her wedding flowers I chose to order them from Bloom. I went to them several weeks before the wedding and asked them to order 120 tulips for me. They said it would be no problem. A week later I added another 30 tulips to the order. I called them 1 week before the wedding to verify that there were no problems with the order and they said everything was good. Imagine my shock and dismay when I went to pick up the wedding flowers on the morning of the wedding when they told me that they did not have the flowers. They gave several lame excuses. They said they tried to call me once on Wednesday. Calling the Wednesday before a wedding is unacceptable but I have no record of the call. I would NEVER use this flower shop of dishonest people. They didn't even apologize for not ordering flowers for a wedding! 100% completely unacceptable and rude. I would give them a 0 star review it it was possible. read more

I ordered an arrangement from Blooms today and was really impressed. I had previously called another popular florist in Boise and wasn't thrilled with their attitude and lack of interest in making an arrangement for me so I called Blooms and they didn't disappoint. My husband ordered me a birthday arrangement from Blooms - at least the second time we have ordered from them. Their arrangements are undoubtably inventive and beautiful, but don't expect them to last - and don't expect them to care about the customer once they've collected their money. No more than two days after receiving my arrangement, the flowers started wilting. The arrangement was made in a wood box, filled with florist foam. I noted this upon receipt and was conscious to water the arrangement each day. My husband is not one to complain, but he even mentioned that by day two the flowers were wilting. By this point I was terribly disappointed, so on Monday (just three days later), I emailed Julie, the owner of Blooms to let her know of the situation. I even sent pictures. I was hoping that she would offer a make-good arrangement or at the bare minimum, an apology. We live in the neighborhood her shop is in, and let's face it, word of mouth is critical with a small business like hers. I waited a few days for a response and nothing. I then decided to re-send my message via her "Contact" form on her website. She even has an option to classify your message as a "complaint!" I did this and included my original message and specifically asked for a make-good arrangement or a refund. Again nothing. Her blatant disregard for customer satisfaction is evident and I would *definitely* suggest taking your money elsewhere, to a shop that cares about repeat business and standing behind its product - particularly if they boast being "high end" and not selling arrangements with carnations or baby's breath, as her site boldly claims. I wouldn't spend another dollar with her and plan to let my friends and neighbors know of the terrible experience I have had with Blooms. read more
