Carnations are not Roses. So disappointed. Ordered an arrangement at an ample price point with specific flowers, which were both recommended and confirmed to be in stock. While the arrangement was delivered on time, much cheaper flowers were swapped in and I'm not using these folks again. At least they were the same color I suppose. read more

Boise at its Best did my wedding flowers. We worked with Georgia who got my floral vision exactly right. The only mishap was that they gave a slightly taller centerpiece vase than the rosy-posy vase I requested but communication was great, they were prompt in their timing, and my flowers were beautiful and special. Boise At Its Best saved my wedding! Originally my (now) husband and I were going to order flowers online from a wholesale retailer, but came to realize at the very last moment that because of Memorial Day earlier in the week and that messing up normal business hours there was absolutely no way that that website was going to be able deliver our flowers and for us to be able to arrange them on time for the wedding. We came into the shop 9 days before the wedding in a mad scramble for any sort of help. We had a very specific order in mind, but we were ready to accept whatever we could at that point because of the time crunch, even if it meant being a little disappointed in not having our "vision" concerning flowers come to life. Boise At Its Best was SO understanding of our situation, let us see a florist immediately even though we didn't have an appointment, and we were able to order all the flowers we originally wanted with no issue! Not only were they beautiful and delivered to us right on time, but they were extremely affordable compared to other places in town. Other florists wanted to charge us about $250 over what we originally budgeted for flowers, which only added to the stress of this flower fiasco, but Boise At Its Best was only $100 over what we originally planned which was much more manageable given the circumstances. We still went with our original plan of arranging the flowers ourselves and everything turned out great in the end. Every stem was perfect and with the help of some preservation spray, all of our flowers that were placed in water are still very full and alive even 4 days after picking them up. I am so grateful for for Boise At Its Best being so understanding and willing to help us in such a crucial moment, and I can't ever thank them enough for helping make my wedding a truly beautiful day! read more

I pre-ordered an Easter corsage for my mother for $15.99. I told them that her mother had passed away on Easter morning and that I would like it to be very special. When I picked it up, it was made with 2 tiny white rosebuds with some browning at the tips, and a few leaves witha few pieces of Easter straw shoved in. I received an arrangement that absolutely made no sense! The color choices and flower choices were so bazaar. I called them right away and they were very nice about it. They asked what I didn't like about it and I described in a very detailed way, color choices and flower choices weren't very appealing. They were nice enough to offer a new arrangement and asked what I would prefer. I said all white and NO chrysanthemums!! A new one arrived on Monday, it was pink and mauve with white and pink chrysanthemums, roses and another grocery store cheap flower. Oh well, I think they really tried but both arrangements were very old fashioned and gaudy. On the plus side, they were nice to talk to. It was my birthday gift that I wanted to throw in the garbage. I popped into Boise At Its Best Flowers while on the way to a client on the Bench this morning for whom I was transplanting raspberry bushes for. I was panicked because I forgot my pruners and did not have a bucket to soak the roots of the raspberry bushes in. Needless to say I was having a rough morning and I stopped in to Boise At Its Best Flowers to buy pruners (they were very reasonably priced) and I asked if I could buy a couple of buckets as well. The woman at the register said that they don't sell buckets and they have 4 Home Depot style buckets that they weren't using and offered to let me borrow them. I was blown away and said yes and I told her that I would return the buckets by around 1 PM. I was so grateful and shocked that they allowed me to borrow their buckets (what business does that?) and the job would not have gotten done without them. This staff and shop is a disorganized mess. We made an appointment a month ago for wedding flowers, walked in and they "lost" the appointment. There goes an afternoon taken off work that I can never get back. Instead of asking any questions, the person not helping just kept flipping through the book to show that we didn't have a appointment. Really, a month isn't enough notice.
