It's always one of those things, where you really need to have an open mind about reading reviews online when you don't know the businesses. I chose Kay's as they had a really nice selection of sympathy planters. I love flowers, but for sympathy occasions I do prefer planters. I can't say enough good things about the beautiful "The FTD® Peace & Serenity™ Dishgarden" that I had chosen. The plants and flowers looked so beautiful, and the quality of the basket was lovely! Flowers and planters are not cheap- but I am so pleased what they had delivered to my friend, and she was completely blown away also. Thank you Kay Penny Florists for a beautiful delivery! The worst florist I have ever had to deal with. Today was my 60th birthday, an aunt wanted to send…read moreme flowers, ordered them one day early, So the day of my birthday, I get a call from florist, rude as shit! Wanting to know if I was going to be home to accept them, BUT...their deliver is limited to ten thirty to noon and then resumes at 3:30 couldn't give me a more specific time just sometime between those hours, can't tell me morning or afternoon. When I told her no, I wouldn't be home at those times, she had the nerve to tell me to come get them. Delivery was paid for. At first, she though I should know where the florist is and had to interupt her to say the road name. I finally said no, I would not come pick them up (I have a broken foot) and will not be home at those times. I have dinner plans and it was already after 10 am and was about to leave. I asked can't you leave them at the door. No, can't do that. So i told her to call the person who ordered them and cancel the order due to you not being able to complete their transaction and delivery of a product they ordered. She did ask if she could deliver them on a different day. Like tomorrow or something, by this time, I was already texting who sent the flowers and said cancel them. They won't be able to deliver them! I told her I would be home today between 12:30 and maybe 4:10. No, apparently she would have to ask her employer if that was suitable for them! Can you believe these people! What kind of a service are you running, you really don't want business do you?? So you screwed yourself out of a Fifty dollor order, a surprise birthday present for a 60th birthday with a rude and inconsiderite employee. Don't advertise your business if you can't deliver! So now, you had to refund the money, the other store made you, you have a bad review on your business and and someone who will tell the world they should never order from you. Hopefully the keg is a better business to what you provide.

Their bouquets for birthdays, anniversaries, and other events are always full, lush, artfully selected and arranged, and long-lasting in the vase. As with all florists, the best results come when you allow the professionals to work with the best available stock. I've asked for an arrangement that was bright with reds and oranges, or something soft and fragrant (rather than, "I want exactly two dozen burgundy Alstroemerias," for example), and Gray's has never delivered anything that wasn't thoughtful and high-quality.

Not knowing where to start with wedding flowers for the wedding, I called and booked an appointment with Jessica. Gray's is a cute little shop located in the heart of sweet Dundas, Ontario. I was anticipating myself getting overwhelmed because I know nothing about flowers...but Jessica showed me pictures, got a feel for my wedding, and made some recommendations. By the end of our half hour appointment, I had my bouquets, table arrangements, and boutineers picked out. They also worked within my budget and sent me a quote the following day. Highly recommend Gray's if you are looking for an easy going, helpful place that has a wide selection of beautiful flowers.

In my case, we were picking up before closing time on the way to a memorial service so we'd only have a chance to see the finished product. When you provide a higher-end price point (above $150), you're hoping to eliminate the risk of having a small or underwhelming arrangement. Unfortunately, that was the case with the initial arrangement prepared for us. The good news is that a family member went to pick up the arrangement early and saw that it was not acceptable and requested it be redone. To their credit, Jean's flower shop worked with us to redo the arrangement and the final outcome of the team effort was a lovely arrangement suitable for the price point and occasion. Giving 3 stars because they accepted a last minute, same-day request and worked to redo the arrangement but I would have given 1 star for the initial product at the price we paid. Attaching pics of the original and final products. In the end, it worked out but I recommend seeing your order firsthand.
