Like many people, I usually dread going to the dentist-but this office completely changed my experience. The team here is incredibly professional, caring, and welcoming. On the day of my appointment to get a crown, a tornado warning forced them to reschedule. Even though the situation was out of their control, they took $200 off my bill as a courtesy. That level of patient care really stood out to me. Throughout the entire process, I felt truly listened to and well taken care of. They were transparent about the costs and explained everything clearly. The front desk staff is also kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I made an appointment for a cleaning, exam and x-rays. They took many x-rays, including the panoramic one.. Then I sat in a chair and waited for what seemed like forever and the Dentist came in. Started doing the exam. I asked questions about certain things and I got a lot of umms and oh's. she didn't really seem like she knew enough to make me feel comfortable with having hers as my Dentist. Then another lady came in and discussed pricing. By this time it was 10:45 and I hadn't even gotten my teeth cleaned yet. I had no idea it would take that long, so I rescheduled the cleaning. When I got there to have the cleaning done, the receptionist informed me that it would cost me extra money upfront for the laser treatment. He said it wasn't necessary but they recommended it. I said no thank you. Then he also said that will be another $35 upfront for the fluoride and once again I said no thank you. My instincts told me to leave because that's the second time I was made to feel like I didn't belong there. I canceled all upcoming appointments and made arrangements to go to another dentist. I was looking into my billing on my HealthPartners account. They're charging me $533 for the panoramic x-ray which I was never told that that was not included in what my insurance pays for. Why would they inform me that I would have to pay extra for laser treatment and the fluoride and they can't tell me that it's gonna cost an extra $533 to do the panoramic x-ray. My new Dentist is only charging 250 for the panoramic x-ray. I think it's wrong of them to handle it the way they did and I'm pretty sure I will be stuck paying that, but I don't think it's fair that I have to. read more

Hey All: This has finally needed I started going to this office early spring I had been there a few times I admit that I wasn't doing my daily routine visits like I was suppose to but I really was looking for a Nice, Caring, Professional place not to run my coverage for things I don't need and that really care about there patients I recall walking in and the Front desk was the best Very happy and friendly but one girl that sat there is gone she was really great. when it was time to be seen I always come early because that is military people life but they did films and after that ask questions about my health then the drama began I know I waited for the dang doctor for at least 25-30 minutes I was ready to walk but when Dr Gardner finally walked in I was like ok let me see what this place is about lateness for people who work isn't acceptable I know if the shoe was on the other foot she would feel the same In short first time introduction you really can't totally gauge but I will say the hygienist were pretty great t. but the issue is with Dr Gardner she told me according to my films that I needed a tooth removed on the lower right that it had an infection and that they would recommend after the removal I would would need a graft done so my teeth would Not shift in short is was very expensive $$$$$ but I knew I wasn't doing a implant and if they removed it I would be able to chew my food properly but the thing that made me most uncomfortable was I came in early fall because I had some issues regarding hygiene and the dentist doctor serviced me that day not the hygienist which was strange I shared a little about my concerns and she asked me if I was smoking and I shared with her I was doing 1 cigarette a day and her response was you need to quit not that that great you made it to one cigarette but you need to quit smoking this chick was on one that day she cleaned about 4-5 teeth in my mouth got up and said the hygienist was coming in to polish my teet. That was the hardest day I had and I have never been so disrespected in my life I had one last appointment with one of the partner dentit's and by that time I was over it. Then coming out from the unnecessary visit with the other dentist looks who up front at the desk trying to Ear Drop to see what I was going to say and never said hello to me at all. I know she don't like brown skin girls but next time don't test folks on how they would behave if you Forget how to fake it to you make it. It's a darn shame but I had to go before I cause a serious situation. The real of what I experience at a neighborhood Dental office. We use to be able to trust people for services we need but not in these times ! read more

So about three weeks ago my partner went for his teeth cleaning (he's a recent new patient there) and he inquired for me on teeth whitening. In house whitening he was told was $300. I then called to make an appointment and happened to get the answering service twice (who were very nice). I told them what I wanted to make an appointment to get my teeth whitened. Both times never received a return phone call. Three times a charm I thought calling back, but it wasn't. Evidently, the cost had gone up $50.00 in the 3 weeks. Now $350. My bad for not being diligent enough to get in touch with them quick enough. I'll pass. Thanks for nothing. One star for the new staff member answering the phone who did his best to help. read more

Horrible. Set up a cleaning. Stated I had to have another set of X-rays. I did not and confirmed with I distance and another dental office. Cancellled is it by them as I refused another set of X-rays. Then they Billed my insurance for a visit they cancelled. What an add on for no reason clinic. Will be filing a formal complaint. read more

Don't bother. They will not call back they say they will follow up but will not you have to keep trying to get their attention. Very badly managed. You will find a better dentist anywhere else. read more

I wish I could give them a minus 100. I called today stating I'm beginning to have an infection in a broken tooth, response sorry we are full. Did I not tell you infection? Have use in the past told dentist having some issues with crown, was told it's ok lost crown. many other issues with this clinic. would NEVER recommend even if it was last place on earth. read more

In June I transferred there from another Dentist and I have been here 3 times (2 consults and 1 almost cleaning) and everytime have had very long wait times. After 2 consults I showed up today for my cleaning. I was told it was covered in my plan and would be a zero charge. As soon as I got back to the hygienist they wanted to change the type of cleaning to a deep cleaning. This was not mentioned at either consult. This was not going to be free. After 30 minutes I was told they could go ahead with my cleaning but they would not clean all of my teeth. I said forget it I would go somewhere else. They then started to say the next time I came in... Why would I ever come back here? It took two consults before I could schedule a cleaning and then you wouldn't even clean my teeth. The office is nice and clean and they have multiple rooms. The staff is friendly but there are a lot of young dentists that seem to pass through. The one reason I'm not giving them the full 5 stars is because I've had extensive wait times ever appointment. Probably 15-20 of just waiting during the whole appoint. read more

I had my first experience at Bloomington Smiles May 2017. I had used another Smiles Dentistry in Arizona for years. Since I live between Arizona and Minnesota it was good to have a dentist here also. Last May I need care due to a crown that was bothering me. Dr Gonzales saved my tooth by revising someone's else's work. Since I also had National Smile Insurance the revision did not cost me anything. Dr Gonzales worked hard and went beyond what was called for. He not only is an excellent dentist but is also very personable and good looking. I would highly recommend this dental office along with the insurance that they offer. read more

Went in for a new patient exam and cleaning. They did the exam and tried to get me to leave without a cleaning. They wanted the office/insurance person to talk to me. She forgot about me for 20 minutes I sat in the room waiting. I would not recognize them to anyone. Over priced and pompous. read more

This place is great.. Very clean and friendly. The online appointment booking is easy and the receptionist Jodi is very helpful and nice.

Excellent care thus far. Dr. Perpich is great, as well as his staff and hygenist Kelly Young. Highly recommended!
