I should start by saying that I am borderline neurotic when it comes to my fur babies. They hate getting groomed and after a few really bad experiences I decided that I would invest in the tools to do it myself. I got comfortable with the normal day to day trimming, but unfortunately, after a long time of doing it myself trimming wasn't enough. I have a hard time finding anyone I trust, so I took to Yelp in hopes of finding someone that wasn't just a good groomer, but a dog lover at heart. When I found Becky, something just felt right. You can see in all her pictures that it's more than just a job to her. I called yesterday, and got a call back within minutes. She was so friendly on the phone, and listened to all my stories about why I'm scared of getting them groomed. I felt really comfortable right away, AND the best part is she was able to come to my house the next day! Becky told me she'd be here between 11:00am and 1:00pm. She called me at 11:15am and said she would be here in 15 minutes, and was right on time. She came into my house to meet my girls first, and even carried my little one down to her trailer. She text me pictures of the girls as she went, and even updates on what she was doing. She made it seem effortless. She was done in 2 hours, which compared to the 6+ I've waited with other groomers, was amazing. My girls look great, and more importantly FEEL great. Being in the service industry I understand and appreciate that special quality in people that go above and beyond because they truly love what they do. Start to finish I was so impressed with Becky, and would 100% recommend her to anyone who considers their pup family. She even printed out a picture of my dogs all clean with bows and put a magnet on it for me. I wish there were more than 5 stars, I can't say enough how happy I am! read more

Those that know me know that Mr. Sassafras is my baby. Some...well, who am I kidding...MOST call it being a Crazy Cat Lady, but I am okay with that. I think all pet owners get a little crazy over their pets from time to time. I especially dread any situation that calls for me having to transport him in his carrier. Sass is not a fan of the car and has a mouth on him to prove it. When I discovered that Blooming Dog Mobile Grooming also worked on cats, I was both excited to be able to eliminate the upsetting journey for him, but also still nervous as to how he would take it. Becky was a godsend! From the time I walked him out to her trailer to the time she delivered him back to me I had never seen him so calm and cooperative. Sass received a bath, a nail trim, and a Lion Cut...his first haircut ever. When I got him back inside, I didn't even receive the tail of resentment or silent treatment that I had anticipated. He has been a little more subdued than usual, but I hear that is normal for the first few days. I am happy that he is still his sweet and playful self and am fully confident that attempting this anywhere else would have had a much different outcome. To my Cat people who know how upsetting change or new environments can be, Becky's trailer provides a safe space where she can gain their trust and perform whatever service you desire with less trauma than they might have at a groomers or on a car ride. I adopted Jim from VCAS over the weekend, and he was scheduled to be neutered the following Wednesday so he could come home. Since he won't be able to have a bath for a couple of weeks after his surgery, I wanted to have a mobile groomer come and get him cleaned up and comfortable. He was supposed to be moved from Simi to the main shelter in Camarillo on Tuesday, so I had another groomer set up to meet us on Monday beforehand. When we got there we found out they'd moved him a day early. I was scrambling to find someone last minute, and Becky @ Blooming Dog was the first person I contacted, based on both the reviews and the fact that you can request info through her website or Yelp, and she responds promptly. Becky emailed me saying she could fit my little guy in Tuesday afternoon, and gave me a rundown of what the service included and what to expect price-wise. When she got to the shelter she texted me a pic to let me know she was starting and that he was doing well, and asked how I felt about him rocking a mohawk! I told her to go for it - and he looks awesome! She texted me after pics and let me know he'd done really well even through having his nails trimmed and teeth brushed. The little tie he left with was icing on the cake! I can't recommend Becky enough. She is professional, friendly, and provided stellar customer service. Fantastic job on our cat, Sunset! We asked for a lion cut because our cat was a furball for 2 years and was time to get her clipped. She promptly returned our email for confirmation and also called to let us know of an opening the day after! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most if not all groomers were booked or not open and there are hardly any groomers that do cats in the Redmond area. Most of the interaction was contactless, all she really needs is a electrical plug for her trailer. She was prompt (45 minutes) and kept us informed of what was going on in the process (including pictures of our cat), all from the front the front of our house. Professional groomer all the way around and would recommend her services to anyone! Our beloved Sunset even got a new bow tie collar with a bell! For her to come out as a mobile groomer, I would gladly pay for her services again. read more

I have a very young energetic dog that doesn't know when to slow down sometimes. She managed to tear up one of her claws pretty bad while playing fetch in an empty lot. I called Blooming Dog Grooming because I am a busy guy and I don't really have the time right now to take her in somewhere. I have to say the convenience of having her come to me was really nice. When Becky showed up I decided to go ahead and get a full bath along with having Rubi's nails trimmed. Becky was awesome. Her trailer is really well equipped and she was clean and professional. She asked me a few questions about what I needed and she was just awesome with my dog. She was able to clean up the damage to Rubi's claw and even managed to get her to smell really good! You know how when you're really happy you want to tell everyone!!! This was the best! I have a senior dog who hates going in the car and makes it very difficult to get her to the groomer - even when it's only a couple of blocks away. She pants and cries and can't make it without several bathroom stops. I thought I would try mobile grooming and what a difference! Besides the pure convenience for me, Penny came back from her grooming stress free, looking beautiful, smelling good, nails trimmed, everything taken care of. I used to stall as long as possible between groomings (which really is sad because I can tell she feels better when she's cleaned up, she has better traction with her toe nails clipped, etc.) and I don't have to do that anymore. I am disabled & it was becoming too difficult to get my 2 dogs to the physical grooming shop. I am so glad I found Becky!! She comes to the house to groom my 2 high maintenance dogs and she has been a total life saver for me. My dogs absolutely love her! After their bath / groom, they will prance around knowing they are looking good. My dogs are a rare breed, so when I first talked with Becky she impressed me with her knowledge and familiarity of the breed. She cuts & shapes them perfectly from nose to tail! Blooming Mobile has been our exclusive groomer since the puppies joined our family two and a half years ago. Becky is so thoughtful and warm with our dogs and they are excited when she comes to the door. They actually seem to look forward to their bath time and haircuts! She is talented and creative with their styling, trimming their faces really well, giving them "lion tails" and taking extra special care of one of our dog's long eyelashes. We have referred Becky to multiple friends and they have also been enthusiastic about her work and her personality. She is organized and punctual. Our two fellas love Becky and gladly hop into the tub for her. Becky is very professional and very personable. She contacts you a day or two before your appointment to confirm everything. Then 15 minutes before she will arrive she calls to let you know she's on her way. If you want, she will give you updates throughout your dog's appointment too. At the end, she takes a photo for her website and gives you a print. Our boys enjoy her bandanas and cookies too. All of our experiences with Becky and Blooming Dog Grooming have been positive and happy. The boys look and smell wonderful with clean ears and teeth. Who could ask for anything more? read more

This was the best grooming experience we've ever had! Our miniature poodle is blind and we've struggled to find a groomer where he feels safe, especially when new environments can be scary for him. But when Becky arrived, she was kind and professional and made the whole experience so easy! Our little guy was only a few steps away in our driveway the entire time, and Becky texted photos of him throughout the process. When he was done, she did such a wonderful job with his cut and he seemed so relaxed and not stressed at all! We are sold on Becky and will use her for all grooming appointments moving forward! Becky was our first mobile grooming experience and we couldn't be happier. We have a mini schnauzer/poodle who's never been groomed before, who my wife refers to as the bearded lady. Becky called us ahead to confirm she was in route. She has a clean, well-equipped trailer and went over all the services beforehand. Our dog has a sweet-temperament and took to Becky right away. Becky took on my sweet lab Mocha who really doesn't enjoy water ang getting wet. Hard to believe for a lab I know. She arrived on time was very professionally dressed and won Mocha over quickly. She inquired about any special needs, shampoos etc. She gave me a time frame for completion. Within that timeframe she returned with Mocha looking great and spelling so much better. Becky did such a great job grooming Olivia! Olivia recently lost her lifelong companion with whom she would always go to the groomers and we were nervous she would have a tough time going alone. Blooming mobile grooming is amazing!! They come right to your door so your puppy is happy to see home as soon as they come out of the mobile unit. She is extremely professional: timely, great communication, and her mobile salon is squeaky clean. Moshi is so much happier and less stressed with Becky.
