She has some great pictures on her website and we used a couple of those to show her what we wanted and then Terri asked us some important questions about our little guy - things we never would of thought to ask but were really important. Jack came home smelling great with a perfect cut and most importantly he was happy! Not stressed or upset, he had energy and you could tell he felt so good and pampered. Jack doesn't like getting his legs brushed or groomed, Terri noticed and still did a great job on his legs and feet. He doesn't particularly like to be put into a kennel when he's done either, like his old groomer use to do and when my husband got there to pick him up, he was sound asleep, laying on the floor next to Terri as she groomed another dog! Dogs are happy in her extraordinarily capable hands, and they always come out looking fantastic! My two dogs never look better than after they've had a grooming session with her. She is also quite well-versed in canine health; one of our dogs has some stomach problems and the other had a couple of unexpected seizures, and Jen is always doing a quick double-check to make sure they're happy and healthy, oftentimes pointing out things that we may not have noticed or know to look for. Upon arriving in Bend on Sunday night, I started the search for dog washing spots. I came across Muddy Paws Bathhouse. It was located very close to where we were staying, so, I decided to give it a try. It was hilarious, my dog was super excited to walk in, right until the smell of shampoo hit his nose. At that moment, he knew the gig was up. I think he was most distressed because he was losing a smell he'd been cultivating for about two weeks. I know that probably says terrible things about me as a pet owner, but I digress. He had the 2 week funk going, he was sleeping on my side of the bed, and the time had just arrived to meet some soap and water. I walked into Muddy Paws and was greeted by Ken. He was very helpful and got me set up at one of the washing stations. He brought me over the oatmeal shampoo and conditioner, showed me where the blow dryer was, got towels and let me go. The entire process went according to normal dog washing standards. I did the double suds and the standing conditioner. After he was rinsed, I got him dried, mostly. There were brushes in my station, eye and ear washing rinses, and "the stuff" which Ken told me was the after drying leave in conditioner. The price was great, the people were very helpful and super friendly. I highly recommend Muddy Paws when you hit the funk o'meter and you need your dog to smell more like a flower than the dog park.

She is always in great spirits when I pick her up, and she does not hesitate during the drop-off, which are both good indications that they do what they can to make it a low-stress experience.
