We first stopped in at the farmer's market, which is located on the corner and has its own parking lot. It had some fun features like classic big chairs for photos and the like. The market itself is packed with tons of produce, goodies, and souvenirs, both inside and outside, including different flavored seasonal donuts, which were delicious! A little bit further down the street is the section with classic autumnal farm fun activities: corn mazes (two - including a mini one for the kids), pick your own produce (apples were ready at the time of our visit, and we enjoyed perusing the orchard), barrel ride, zip line, play area, and apple cannons, which were a blast! A variety of snacks are available for purchase at the snack shop. This area has its own parking available. Staff was helpful and friendly, and we had a lot of fun exploring and enjoying everything Lynd Fruit Farm has to offer.

I think it's been family owned for years. I continued despite prices. Last year I went for Tomatoes and something changed again. New people , not as friendly but produce was good and I purchased apples again. Prices took a big jump last summer (2026) and new cashiers, again. Even though I was a long time customer the service wasn't so good or friendly. Prices on everything too high. I haven't been back this year because I can't afford them anymore. So if anyone reads this I would like a second opinion, especially from the owners. I wonder if they have fewer customers? Anyone, please respond? Explain what changed? Thank you.

I've taken various friends with me over the years. With COVID this year, you weren't allowed to bring your own bucket, but this was ok because I usually buy their boxes anyway. I like that I can use them and recycle them. Earlier this week, I spent about 2 hours picking strawberries and walked out with about 17 pounds. I was able to make jam & jelly, as well as save some berries to go with strawberry shortcake. The prices are reasonable at $2.95/pound for pick your own and $5.75/container of pre-picked berries.

SUNFLOWERS -- A mason jar could be purchased at the entrance of the flower field but I didn't buy a mason jar. I just used my hands to hold the flowers as I picked them. FOOD -- The farm sells food and drinks but I didn't look at any of the offerings since my friend brought her own food for her birthday party. I believe they have typical fast food such as burgers and fries. This is a great family-friendly farm to visit in Wooster. I saw a-lot of kids running around and having a good time. They are well set up for a low key activity when the weather is nice, with picnic tables and shade awnings to arrange, and they supply you with clippers and a bucket of water for collecting. There are multiple plots of flowers, but they do request that you stay in certain ones, as they also fill commercial orders for the dahlias and sunflowers. But don't worry, they go into those beds and pre-cut the showy blooms so that you can include them in your bouquet, and you're free to visit and view without scissors. The days leading up the wedding day along with the actual wedding day were filled with zero stress- and a huge part of that had to do with how helpful our venue was. Kathy and Rose worked with us, and communicated with us over the course of planning. Pickwick Place makes it incredibly easy to receive a tour, rent items, pre-set up, tear down, plan layouts, etc. This place is also great because of the layout. It is two stories and includes an elevator. They work so well with you to make sure the building is exactly how you want it to be, allowing you to either choose to decorate yourself or have them decorate. We used the bottom level for our ceremony and the top level for our reception. One thing we were concerned about was keeping our guests occupied in between the ceremony and reception during pictures- however, because Pickwick also has a market and an antique shop next door, our guests had plenty of fun things to explore (and plenty of parking!) The landscape was perfect for beautiful pictures- including fields and a lake, along with the beautiful brick outside that made it extremely easy for our photographer to get large group photos. They also have a large kitchen that our caterer was able to work in smoothly, and even though we chose not to serve alcohol, they do allow that option and have a specific place for that as well. The thing that truly stuck out to us and made us choose Pickwick, was the attention to detail. When we first toured the place- my husband noticed that they had spent a great deal of time painting ugly silver pieces in the building to a beautiful rustic copper color in order to match the rustic look of the venue. This attention to detail was displayed during our entire time working with Pickwick and we could not have been more blessed. Pickwick is absolutely gorgeous, wonderful to work with, and a perfect layout for the perfect wedding! 5+ star review from us!
