The owner, Brittni, features local artists work as well as her own inside the winery and for an awesome twist on branding, she's labeled each wine selection with her own artwork and named each wine after one of her paintings. The charcuterie boards are delicious and sourced from other local small businesses and the owner regularly has amazing food truck vendors featured at her location. If that's not enough for you, the owner has incorporated all sorts of fun classes and workshops within her business model such as paint and sip, making candela out of old wine bottles, yoga and exercise classes, and monthly bingo as well as ensuring she has local musicians regularly booked on the weekends. I suggest checking out her website for future events, I know I keep my eye on what she's got going on. And I couldn't possibly forget to mention her sweet pup Jax that's often scouring the floor for snacks or snoozing in the corner. The service is amazing, the wine is to die for, the ambiance is spectacular, and it's clear that Brittni has poured her heart and soul into Cote Winery, quite literally. As a regular customer, I can honestly say that Mt. Gilead is lucky to have Cote Winery as an addition to the local wineries surrounding Ohio.

The appetizer was necessary to make it a full meal, but we felt it was all worth the price for the value and the quality of food. We didn't bring the kids this time, but quickly realized with the casual patio atmosphere and the kid friendly items like pizza and soft pretzel, it would work well for them to come have dinner with us while we taste some more!
