Cote Winery is an absolute hidden gem! From the moment you drive into the gorgeous property you're enveloped in relaxing and creative atmosphere. The wine and food options are excellent and very well priced for the area. The owners have nailed the community feel, making Cote a perfect spot to relax and connect with family and Ffirnds. It's not just a winery; it's a cool experience you won't forget! I highly recommend checking out the winery and the classes!

Red wine flight and mulled wine (winter special).

We had a great time on our first visit here on Valentine's Day. We had some mulled wine and a red wine flight. Then a glass of Malbec and Cabernet. All were great. Awesome spot with a great vibe / will be even better in warmer weather. Congrats to Brittni who has a great spot here. Live music and other events look to be fun. A beautiful dog hostess. Can't wait to come back. Support this place Morrow County!!!

Made a visit to this winery based on a recommendation from another winery in the area. It is a newer winery and may be working out some kinks. I did a tasting of each wine and liked the Malbec wine most. Although, the wine seemed a bit muted in flavor relative to the wines I have had from other commercial and local wineries. If you prefer wines that are medium-bodied, this will be the place for you. The atmosphere was nice and the decor within the winery is pleasant. The wall art is the creation of the owner and is quite beautiful. However, I was not impressed with 2 things: 1. The Chief Wahoo flag being flown on the property (as it is known that this caricature is offensive to Native Americans); 2. The price listed on the menu is not what we were charged for our tastings (menu said $8 for 8 pours and we were charged $14) and we're told after payment that the new pricing just wasn't updated on the menus yet. Update: A refund was provided by the winery due to the miscommunication and is appreciated.

I've made the nearly one hour drive to visit this winery multiple times since it opened last year. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in choosing a wine, as they have multiple white and red options along with food pairings available. I love the monthly presence of food trucks for an added food choice. I learned the artwork around the winery are original pieces created by the owner, which I think add to the wonderful charm of this small business. The wines (I personally recommend the Summertime Chardonnay and Zinfandel) are very affordable and wonderful gifts.

They were going to have live music as well as a food truck in the evening but we had other plans. The winery offered samples for $1. Most of our group chose 4-6 wines to try so our table looked a bit crazy with all the glasses. The one downside was that the employee who helped us was relatively new and had us do our tastings from sweet to dry, instead of dry to sweet. She did say that she was trained this way but it threw me off. Luckily, the owner came in and we were able to ask some questions. When I questioned the thought process of going from sweet to dry - he quickly corrected our remaining samples and made a note to do some retraining. I enjoyed that this was a family owned winery. Even the kids were studying subjects in college to allow them to be part of the business as well. I loved the theme of time. Our group ended up leaving with several bottles and I would definitely recommend this winery to others.

They do have food trucks at times. Still, a couple more food choices wood be nice. Maybe some different chips and dips, veggie trays or flatbreads. Has a large upper room for special events, and a small patio but plenty of green space with tables, great for entertainment with a wooded area that has a fire pit. Just maybe a few more fire pits for the colder evenings.

BF and I were trying to do everything Amish and local for our Valentine's weekend in Dresden, OH…read moreand we picked this place based on their really nice website. Gotta say, the website was much more impressive than the actual place. This wasn't too far of a drive from Dresden Inn but coming back, we got turned around because of the lack of lights, signage and skinny roads. They have plenty of parking and the string of lights outside was cute. I asked the waitress TWO times whether the sweet potato fries for the sandwich entree was extra and she confirmed TWICE that it was not an extra cost. Welp, upon paying, guess what? It was $4 extra! Just look at my picture to see that like 12 skinny AF fries are NOT worth the extra charge! Their house chips were great. I ordered the brie & jam sandwich and it was filling and delicious. I also ordered a crispy chicken salad and was pretty disappointed at the quality. I abhor cheese shavings on salad (they don't belong on salads!) and there was just mounds of very processed looking cheese. There was not enough chicken pieces for the price, too many croutons, no onion or enough tomato; just cheap lettuce. They don't serve regular glasses of water here. It was all crushed ice! We suspected they were just pre-wine slushies! This was really odd. There's not real wait service but since we sat upstairs, people needed to bring stuff up so I did tip a usual amount. I wanted to experience more of a country, made from scratch type of setting so was not too happy with the very Chilis/Applebee quality and presentation of their food.

I had high hopes for Killing Tree Winery, but was left underwhelmed. The countryside setting is…read moreundeniably beautiful, yet the experience didn't match the view. When I arrived, they were out of nearly a dozen wines--never a good start at a winery. Service felt impersonal and cafeteria-style: you circle your selections, and that's about it. There was little to no description or engagement about the wines themselves, which all tasted fairly ordinary and forgettable. Adding to the disappointment, the main entrance featured a strip of fly tape covered in dead flies--something I've never encountered at a food or drink establishment, and frankly, not the best first impression. There's definite potential here, but at the moment, the experience feels unpolished and uninspired. I genuinely hope they improve, but for now, I can't recommend a visit.
