From the outside you would never know how cozy and comfortable this place is. The atmosphere of the coffee shop is very pleasant and inviting. It must be the colors and fresh air from the plants that makes the ambience above average. The staff behind the counter is so relaxed and friendly. They are passionate about their product they sell. The matcha, love a new one. Now the matcha they offer is a premade mix but it's lower on the sugar scale. It's just delicious. You can add any type of milk for a little extra charge . Now your caffeinated coffee and lattes are made well enough. This is a great little place to gather and have a few sips. The little place has some nice places to sit and drink. Relax with your favorite caffeine. If you need a little something extra they sell coffee to go and merchandise for the company. They charge a little more than other coffee shops but your sips will definitely prove why? You decide but it's worth the extra . Wherever you roam around try True North coffee. This small shop boasts an expertly curated selection of used books, arranged by type around the space. I ended up going with "Blink" by Malcolm Gladwell and "The Library Book" by Susan Orlean. Both weren't more than $8. I also got a chai tea to go. This is such a cozy shop. If we had more time to spend, I would have pulled up a chair and enjoyed my time here some more. I was a little disappointed that my coffees weren't marked with what was in them, only my name and how many there were (two facts that probably help the baristas, but I already know both of those things and telling me which is mine and which is my partner's would be better use of sharpie ink). The coffee also wasn't very hot. It was warm, easy to drink and flavorful, but would have been tough if I'd had a long drive. There are plenty of outlets in the gray-painted interior of the building to charge your devices. There's also outdoor seating, but the view and traffic noise can't be all that desirable. Overall, I'm pretty happy.
