Where I'm from, Southern India isn't well represented when it comes to dining out so this was a special treat for me. I ended up staying in the one-star Quality Inn & Suites, after an epic screw-up by the Marriot hotel, which just so happened to be right next to the Bloom Bawarchi. The smell filled my disgusting room. Before long I couldn't stand it any longer and went out to see what the delicious smell was about. Talk about a gem in the middle of a barren wasteland. The food was wonderful. The staff was warm and inviting, even though they were in the middle of the grand opening of their new bar area. Things were a bit hectic but understandable. If you're looking for Indian food that hadn't been Americanized or Britishized, this is THE place to eat. I'd give it 6 stars. read more

Came here for dinner when I was in town for work. Was craving Indian food and for most part hit the spot. I would come here and try it again. We got the egg curry dish and I asked for it spicy. But it was a little on the sweeter side and more cream based that I'm used to. We also ordered both the garlic and onion Kulcha. It was phenomenal. Both were light and fluffy, not too bread-y. I feel like most Indian restaurants make these with too much dough and so you get full from just the bread. The service there was good and people working there were nice. The dining area off to the side has a really great atmosphere and cool changing lights. They play Bollywood music videos on the TVs and great Indian music. We ordered the butter chicken and garlic naan. It was so amazing, I've been dreaming about it since! We did not order any bar drinks but we watched them being made and they all looked beautiful and delicious. This was a really fun place. While I've enjoyed Indian food all over the country, I felt like I had the first actual and most amazing Indian food ever at Bloom! I had Samosa Chat and Vegetable Chettinadu both at Desi Spicy level. The flavors were unbelievable and so aromatic (which you noticed immediately upon entrance) and for the first time I was pleasantly surprised with actual spicy Indian dishes. The staff was so attentive and friendly. The place was fun, clean, and busy. While I was eating I messaged three of my vegetarian friends, because I cannot wait for others to try this amazing restaurant. I'm used to eating at Signature India but decided to try BB for once. My fiancé and I ordered the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala (medium spice) The sauce itself was decent, not as sweet as Signature typically makes it. The chicken itself, in my opinion, was terrible. Other places give you nice pieces of what I'm assuming is breast. BB, it seemed like they threw in different chunks of the chicken and then picked it apart. I had mostly dark pieces, a few white, and had to spit out some of the meat. In one instance I bit down on a bone, which sort of ruined the rest of the food for me. (Im one of those people who doesn't like bone being in with my foods) For the price of non-vegetarian entrees, I'd expect a better quality of meat. I was also disappointed that they didn't use Basmati rice. I'm American, so I'm probably just not used to this style of Indian, but I'll definitely be sticking with Signature India. read more

Would have never considered this place if not for my fellow Yelpers. This is the best Indian I've had thus far in Blo-No and I've tried several spots. The thali lunch was delicious, had just enough heat, and was a significant amount of food for the price. Service was prompt and very friendly. Every time I go there I am absolutely blown away. The owners are so nice, and will have conversations with you, and the goat naan is literally the best food I've ever had. The andhra goat is also insane. Even their vegan food is just ridiculous. Even the food that sounds weird is slap your mamma good. They even gave me free beer once because I said I've never had Indian beer, and the owner was so excited for me to try it he just gave it to me. It's hard to find a place that has 10/10 food and service combined, but this place is an absolute blow out. Absolutely my favorite place I've ever been to. Those owners know what they hell they are doing. Their online menu system is genius and efficient. There is literally nothing not perfect about this place. As we head into Labor Day weekend, and I'm getting ready to place a take-out order to celebrate my birthday, I wanted to take a moment to recommend my new favorite restaurant. My family is new to town and we are excited to have found our go-to Indian restaurant. We'd already tried a handful of options, but when I reached out to Bloom Bawarchi, I knew we'd found our place. As newcomers, we were invited by the owner, Rocky, to the restaurant (everything completely socially distanced and super sanitized) so he could personally ensure our first experience would be outstanding. He and the staff at Bloom Bawarchi definitely delivered. My spouse is vegan while the rest of us are vegetarian -- there were ample options on the menu for us to choose from, and Rocky spent a lot of time helping us select the best possible food and beverage, and personally made sure that every aspect of the meal was amazing. And it was. Everyone working was friendly and made sure to check-in with us throughout dinner even though they were in a major hustle working to complete several take-out orders. The food was awesome and I have been thinking about their dosa ever since! The only regret we had was that my husband wished he had ordered his foot another spice level hotter. Easily fixed. I'm so happy to support Bloom Bawarchi on the occasions we order take-out. It's great to get to eat the best Indian food we've tried in town, and to support a local shop. Great tasting Indian food. Really good pricing for an authentic taste. I always get the veg thali & the non veg lunch box consisting of chicken biryani & a chicken starter & chicken curry. The chicken starter I received was spicy & delicious, the chicken curry was very flavorful (wish they gave me little more chicken pieces) I ended up putting the chicken from the biryani into the chicken curry sauce. I am thinking they were preserved for a long time. So had to throw away all the things ordered (worth close to ~70 USD) after few bites. I will never order again from this place.
