They have consistently taken such amazing care, and I fully trust them with anything that's needed. What I appreciate most is how honest and genuine they are--they never try to oversell or push anything unnecessary, and their pricing is always very fair. It's clear they truly care about the animals they treat. The entire office is also incredibly warm and welcoming, which makes every visit a great experience. Whether it's routine check-ups, vaccines, teeth cleaning, or nail trims, they handle everything with so much care and professionalism. There's a reason they're so highly rated in San Ramon. I always recommend them to friends--they're simply the best.

The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and truly loves what they do. They treat you like family honestly. Josh is just so so amazing. Our little Shitzu ( Bubba ) has been having so many issues lately and they all take care of bubba as it's there own. Dr. g and everyone else takes the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and make sure both pets and pet parents feel comfortable and reassured. They never rush appointments and always go above and beyond to provide the best care possible. It's so comforting to know your pet is in hands that are not only professional but also deeply compassionate. If you're looking for a vet who treats your pet like family, this is absolutely the place. I'm beyond grateful for the care, dedication, and heart this team brings every single day. Highly recommend! They listened carefully, explained everything clearly, and made me feel supported throughout the whole process. It was obvious that they genuinely care about both pets and their owners. I really appreciated how thorough, patient, and compassionate they were and I appreciated that they gave me several options to treat him. I left feeling much more informed and reassured. I'm very grateful for the excellent care Oliver received and definitely recommend Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center to anyone looking for a veterinary team they can trust.

I was told costco doesn't carry this kind of spray. My dog needed it so I got it at BR. I found out after I left that the spray is $34 cheaper at costco and a few other pharmacies. I also paid by credit card and found out later I was charged a $10 fee. When I called BR, they said it shows up on the card reader. It definitely did not and the staff did not give that information. Otherwise I would not have used that form of payment. I have had a pretty good experience with my dog's vet but not with the front desk, billing.

The level of compassion and care that we received from her is unparalleled. She was so patient, kind, called with updates frequently, and genuinely cared about his well-being throughout his stay. When his condition got worse and had to be transferred to specialty hospital, she called hospitals multiple times, trying to get him admitted after being told they wouldn't take him and even escalated to her Director to also make phone calls. She fought for him - fought to keep him alive. After she was finally able to get a specialty care hospital to take him and he was transferred, she called daily to check up on him even after he was discharged from VEG. The world needs more doctors like her especially during difficult times. Dr. Matsuo is a kind human, who gives me hope again that there are doctors out there who actually care about their patients vs. focusing on volume. VEG is so incredibly lucky and fortunate to have her and I highly recommend that if your pet ever has the unfortunate need to go to VEG, you ask for Dr. Matsuo. We thank her so much for being so patient, having tenacity in fighting for patients, and being just an amazing, wonderful, compassionate person. We thank you so much for saving Pinot.

He didn't try to bite them, Lucky Charm seemed at ease in a way he's never been at his old veterinary clinic the last 3 years. Who cares that it takes 45 min to an hour to drive there, each way..... we all know we will do anything for our loved ones, furry or otherwise. Peace of mind knowing my baby is loved and cared for immediately when I walked thru the door is just priceless. I don't know what the other reviews meant when they mentioned anything bad at Animal Center of Pleasanton; it's ridiculous. Nothing but the VERY best for my little Lucky Charm; and Animal Medical Center, all staff and Dr C ARE THE VERY BEST. I say: BRAVO~~~~ and Thank You Dr and Staff~ u ROCK!!!!

The news below doesn't surprise us as the vet simply suggests us to let our dog to have blood test for her "itchiness". There was no examination at all as the vet was scared of our dog. He simply pulled our dog's leash forcibly as if he doesn't know how to deal with a dog. As the blood result shows nothing, he suggests us to run fecal test to identify the issue. - just for her itchiness.

Now they no longer are responsive with emails and when you call, you are put on hold for a long time. Front desk staff seem different each time I go in as well. Another major issue that irritated me was how they no longer would approve prescription flea meds online through Chewy anymore. I had to pick up a hard copy of the script to mail into Chewy. Super inconvenient for patients who need medications soon. Dr. Sekhon was the best vet I saw, but I only was able to see her in person 2x. Parking at this location is easy. I'm currently on the journey to find a new vet in the area.

I am sorry to have to downgrade this business after having rated it five stars previously. But in…read morethe last year, there have been several problems with follow up, medical procedures and inflated prices. I took my dog in for a yeast/fungal infection on his paw that he had been licking until it was raw. The doctor looked at it and saw that the nail had been damaged and infected. She decided to give him pain injection, antibiotics for two weeks and some antiseptic wipes. This came up to about $400.00. She said that should follow up in a couple of weeks which I did. Jazz's foot had still not healed because of the damaged nail. On the second visit, the doctor said that she would cut the nail down to the quick and bandaged it up, with another pain injection and more antibiotics. They charged for the follow up visit office charge. Many vets don't charge an office visit when it is an ongoing issue. Again, the bill was over $400.00. Altogether, I paid over $800.00 for a condition that should not have been as high as that. Why didn't the doctor just take care of the nail on the first visit instead of subjecting my dog to two rounds of antibiotics and two office visit charges? She also said that I should get a senior panel blood test for my dog that they charge over $350.00 for the test. The same test according to the lab that runs the test costs $160.00. I mentioned this to the doctor and she said that they have to charge for collection and disposal of medical waste. I was told to monitor the healing process of my dog which I did. I called the office and gave them an update and had additional questions for the doctor. The staff member said that she would let the doctor know. That was at the end of July and have yet to receive a call back from them. They just never followed up with Jazz and that speaks volumes to the lack of patient care. As long as they got paid, they are not bothered about how the patient is faring. This, to me, is a deal breaker!! When you are more interested in your bottom line than the animal you are supposed to care for, you have lost my respect and my patronage!!
