I had gotten into a car accident where a drunk driver came and crashed into me. The left side of my body was in so much pain from the impact. The cops took a police report but I felt like they were being bias because they let the guy go without a citation since he had no insurance or license, so I knew I would have to hire an experienced attorney to handle this. I went online, searched for car accident attorney and personal injury attorney, and found Block LLP. I called them and spoke to Monika and she was amazing from the start. I would get really emotional and frustrated but she would always answer my calls on the first ring and calm me down and explain the process in detail so I wasn't in the dark. I couldn't recommend this firm enough. The attorneys are so kind and RESPONSIVE (I had called a couple other offices as well while shopping around and almost none of them picked up or returned my call next day). I really felt like they cared about my well being and handling this case for me in it's entirety. Disappointed with Pest Issues in My Apartment I've been living in my apartment for a while now, and unfortunately, one of the biggest downsides has been dealing with a persistent pest problem. From the start, I noticed occasional sightings, but over time it became clear that this was not a one-time issue. Despite keeping my unit clean and reporting it to management several times, the problem has continued. The pests -- mainly roaches have made it uncomfortable to fully enjoy my home. Management did send exterminators a couple of times, but the treatments were often surface-level and didn't address the root of the problem. I was calling around other law offices asking them how long a personal injury case usually takes to settle. And when I spoke to the intake specialist at Block they told me 6-12 months the most. I was in shock because my small accident wasn't even close to being done. My current attorneys at the time were telling me they were still getting medical records. So happy I found Block! I was involved in a hit & run in Downtown LA a few weeks back and I thought I had no options. It was even made a little more difficult because my motorcycle, a 1974 Honda CB550, was too old to be found in any blue book. I hired Nick back in 2019 and then again in 2023. He's worked on two of my injury cases and for my…read moremother when she was rear ended. In 2019 I thought about dealing with the insurance company myself but quickly learned I was being jerked around. I spent 6 months trying to get hospital bills paid for and during that time I couldn't get a doctor to see me on a lien. My health insurance had lapsed so I was stuck. Nick went to law school with a friend of mine who recommended him. Within the first two weeks of hiring Nick, the hospital collections stop calling me, I had gotten my first updated MRI, and got a doctor to start treating me on a lien basis which meant I didn't have to pay anything. For the 2019 claim, the insurance company kept trying to play a game about how I didn't seek treatment until I got an attorney, but Nick made quick work of that and got my case back on track. We ended up having to file a lawsuit because of how much time the insurance company wasted in getting me care. For my accident in 2023, I got T-bone getting off the freeway. First thing I did as soon as I was discharged a couple days later I called Nick. "Surprise - surprise" there was no six month. Wait in trying to see a doctor or getting updated MRIs, and the hospital bill didn't go into collections this time. I appreciate that throughout the process for the 2019 and 2023 injuries, Nick was realistic, compassionate, and firm. He didn't promise me a retirement, but he did promise that I would get medical care and he would fight. After having to deal with the nonsense in 2019, it was nice to know that somebody was actually there to deal with the headaches and I didn't have to. I also referred my mom to Nick in late 2023 when she got rear ended. I continue to work with Nick to this day on my mom's case. Nick I just want you to know that I really appreciate you, sir. Thanks for having our back!

She didn't ask to see any of my supporting documents. She said I had a case 100%, which was great to hear, but I shopped around to get other lawyer opinions. I would be a suspicious of this firm if they ask you for any $$, as they say they work on contingency fees.... I was a little worried again about signing a retainer so abruptly. I didn't end up using this firm. I met Elwina in her office, and Nick came by also. Friendly, but just didn't see a good fit
