Bowman then charged $2400.00 for a circuit board and more Freon!!! Only reason I'm having them come out again is we have one more maintenance call due & paid for Which is needed since system totally not working due to a power surge a day ago. BUT! I will then have Onofrio take over and deal with my properties. Shame on Bowman and kudos to Onofrio!

We just moved to the area and had heard good things about this company. From what my daughter in…read morelaw told me the guys who came out to the house were friendly, and seemed like they knew exactly what they were talking about. But after calling the office to talk about everything, we completely changed our minds. Someone picked up the phone, Alicia? maybe.. my daughter in law said the tone on the phone was enough to make us take our business somewhere else. It honestly felt like we were bothering her just by calling and asking questions. We ended up going with another company that was actually more expensive, but the woman who answered the phone was kind and helpful from the start. I'd rather pay more than deal with someone who acts like they hate their job. It's a shame because she said the technicians seemed great, but one bad interaction was enough for her to decide we won't be coming back.

I've used M&M for several years now. before them I used many well known local fuel companies. Nick…read moreand his amazing staff are there when you need them and are a talented bunch. This company is professional and HONEST. Let me repeat the honest part. A close family member was told by a well known and recommended company that she needed an entirely new AC system in her home after it failed. They gave her a price of $15,000. I told her to call M&M for a second opinion. she told them what the other company said, yet Nick looked at her system and replaced a $150 part. that was 4 years ago and it's still running great! M&M just recently replaced my entire AC system, it was dead and over 30 years old, with an amazing system. I never knew my place could be so comfortable in the summer. Anyway, after furnace repairs, expansion tank and AC, I can truly say these guys and girls are the best!!

am writing to tell the reviewing public that Alliance Heating and air-conditioning of Bridgeport is…read morea fine and reputable organization. We have been using Alliance for the last 12 years in Our Condo in Greenwich. This year we had the experience of our air conditioning system having died. It was time for a change and we reached out to Alliance who did a fabulous job in one day to restore our air-conditioning. Our Contact's name at Alliance was Dustin. Dustin gave us a fair quote for the work and worked with us to get all required permitting and following up after the job to make sure everything was right. I give Dustin six stars!! He is the guy to contact if you need any major work done. Thank you, Alliance and we shall continue using your twice a year maintenance to keep our systems running properly. I should also know that on an emergency basis, Alliance replaced our furnace about three years ago and they also did a great job at that time. Joe Kaliko

Just completed a project the previous month to replace one of the office building's air handler and condenser units and the install went great. Minor issue developed and they were out immediately to make the minor adjustment that was needed. Richard the tech was terrific and I really appreciate his ability to explain everything in simplistic terms. Scheduling service calls is always smooth with Cat, Rebecca does a great job in coordinating projects along with Joe S who handles the sales side and install coordination. Joelyn who has been there the from our start, overseas a well controlled operation. Alliance has been providing the same consistent great service since the time I first became a customer and through the present.

Our house steam boiler in Hamden failed and we needed a new one. Our long time heating contractor…read morehad likely contributed to the boiler cracking by setting it incorrectly so I looked on Yelp and in addition to getting a quote from our current serviceman, asked several others for quotes. Ray quickly responded and not only offered a better price; but seemed to be very knowledgeable about our system. He came to our house and was able to get the old unit working temporarily at no charge and further impressed us with his knowledge. I felt we could trust him and ordered a new boiler from him and also a new gas hot water heater as it was near the end of its life. We put a deposit on the parts and when they arrived he and an assistant installed them. Their assembly work was excellent, he skillfully adjusted the new units and all is now working better than ever. We will use him going forward and highly reccomend him. TR
