I like that people commonly mentioned how nice Jamell was to work with and that the quality of his work was good and prices were reasonable, When he showed up he really is the nicest person and did a great job on my old Toyota truck. It looks like the day I bought it. The carpet had a few stains from coffee that he was able to get out. Thank you for that! He was also very accommodating as he was scheduled to come to my work, but the night before we were told we had to work from home because of some work that needed done inside our building. He pivoted the morning off and ended up coming up to my house instead. Appreciated the painless change of plans that was a 15 minute further drive. I will use him again! read more

*SEATTLE VPC FRIENDLY* *DISCLAIMER FOR THOSE SHIPPING WITH IAL* To ensure you meet the requirements for IAL, after your detail is finished, check off IAL's boxes: "INTERIOR: Vehicle is free of all dirt, soil, leaves, pollen, sand, pebbles, stones, mud, plant life, food particles, pet dander and hair, caked on stains, trash, paper products, and any other debris. The entire interior of the POV is to be thoroughly vacuumed, and/or wiped down to include floor mats, top and bottom including the surface below the mats. Rubber floor mats must cleaned / wiped off. The POV is to be vacuumed under and between all seats, under the seat rails and between the seats and the center console. The center console, cup holders, dash board, glove and storage compartments, doors and door pockets, seats and seat pockets, ceiling, floor and trunk are to be completely free of all residue and debris." I would say if water is used at all during the interior detail, verify it has been completely dried. That goes especially for the tops and bottoms of floor mats if you have them. If IAL finds moisture in your car they'll fail you and there is no "dry it real quick and try again". They have a 24hr turn around for it and the Seattle VPC is by appointment only, at least when I went. I encourage you to trust Jamell, but by following what I said above you'll CYA. Trust but verify! BLK LUXE answered the phone every time I called and was incredibly friendly and accommodating. My appointment with IAL was at 1100 so Jamell worked with me and started the detail at 0830 and finished by 1030, keep in mind the vehicle he worked on was a 4 door sedan and I had cleaned the car as best as I could the day before to make Jamell's life easier and probably made the detail quicker. Jamell in person seems like a very easy going person as he is very calm and polite. The quality of the detail was perfect in my opinion because it was up to IAL standards and it was at an agreeable price. Thank you Jamell, you're the best! read more

I've had my car detailed twice from BLK LUXE and both times they have done great work. Jamell is very thorough and my car looks brand new. I recently had a window broken and there was probably some residual glass left in the vehicle, but you would never know it after they finished. Really hate leaving bad reviews but I feel like people need to be warned. They didn't show up to our scheduled time, so we rescheduled for a few days later and they didn't show up AGAIN. When talking to the lady working the phone, she never once apologized and was very immature about their mistakes. Honestly, I wanted this to work out because we really needed the clean but I left feeling disrespected and very disappointed. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable company. And to the owner, I would highly recommend sending the lady on the phone to a customer service training as it is very obvious she has never gone through any sort of training. read more

This is the second time I've used this mobile detail company. The first time was amazing. Two fellas came to my place of business and detailed the inside of my CRV. It was like brand new afterwards. Shiny, vacuumed, shampooed.My car looked and smelled brand new. A few weeks ago I needed a detail on the inside again. And one fella came out. I tipped him thinking it would be the same experience as last time. Bury it wasn't. No shine, no great smell, when I lifted the seat up in the back because I needed to put a larger item in there was crumbs dirt still. The cup holder still had stiff on it. The back seat doors looked exactly the same. I know because I had recently wiped down my interior because i had tried to shampoo the car myself but my bissel shampooer was broken so I just did a quick wipe down and called to schedule. The dash and interior areas were not shiny as they had been when the two guys came out. And I distinctly remember the shampooed carpets being super clean. Maybe just an off day? Maybe because only one fella came not two ? Not sure but it was a lot of money and my interior doesn't look great like before. :( read more
