We had a great experience with Bliss. Unfortunately we didn't get to have Damon as our host because he and his wife just had a baby (congrats!). Damon put together a fabulous itinerary and we had a delicious lunch at Brasswood and discovered an incredible new (to us) winery, Parallel Wines. If Damon suggests this itinerary for you, don't hesitate, do it!! We were supposed to have a sub who was a sommelier and he seemed really fun. He unfortunately got sick right before the day we had scheduled, so we had a third person, Louis. Louis was pleasant, although he didn't engage with us much. I would recommend Bliss, they were very professional and the communication was excellent. read more

Our 2 day trip was amazing! Damon made everything so smooth, easy and FUN!! He has incredible knowledge about the vineyards and local families. We gave him a list of our vineyards and he planned the rest! read more

Gosh, I don't even know where to begin! Booking with Damon was so easy and effortless. We traveled with 6 people ages 69-37 and most of us had never been to this part of California. We had no idea which wineries to book so when I ran across Bliss Wine Tours on TripAdvisor, I felt like I had won the lottery! Damon sent me a list of questions for our group to answer so he could put together an itinerary for us to review. We didn't change a thing and I'm sure glad we didn't. Every single winery had something different to offer and was a unique experience. We traveled to 6 different wineries over 2 days and I was worried we wouldn't get enough wine. That fear was completely incorrect as we left every day feeling like we got to taste plenty of wine! We tasted wine in many different places. The first place was a warehouse - which sounds weird but it was the coolest experience. There was the cutest table setup for us right beside the barrels. The winemaker let us try so many wines and we even got to try it directly from the barrel! They also served the most delicious cheeses! The other places we got to do wine tastings were inside a more rustic barn right by the vineyard with the cutest pug as one of the hosts. The human host got out his guitar and sang songs for us which was the biggest treat! The next day we were in a wine cave! It was probably the coolest thing I've done! The wine was amazing and so was the ambiance. Next we went to the prettiest winery and sat outside on a covered patio. It was rainy and cold but they had plenty of heaters and the coziest blankets. This was a wine and food pairing and the food was top notch! Our whole group loved it even though we have picky eaters. Damon arranged all of these tours for us and his driver Jon was phenomenal. He knew so much about wine and the local area. We loved being with someone so passionate about his job. Damon also arranged transportation from the SFO airport to the hotel in Sonoma. We had Colton as our driver and he was also personable and wonderful. If you have a choice, definitely book with Damon at Bliss Wines. You will not be disappointed! Best trip ever! read more

Damon's recommendations were nothing short of outstanding. Whether it was wine tastings or selecting the perfect spot for lunch, his expert guidance made each choice a delightful discovery. We savored remarkable wines and enjoyed a delectable lunch that perfectly complemented our day. What truly stood out about Damon was his genuine connection with our group. His dedication to ensuring our enjoyment and comfort throughout the tour was truly commendable. For an extraordinary wine tour experience, I wholeheartedly recommend Bliss Wine Tours. Thank you, Damon!Cheers to Bliss Wine Tours! read more

Damon set up an amazing tour for us. We visited 3 small wineries that we would never have been able to see on our own. Each location was more picturesque than the last and a slightly different experience. Damon planed everything and kept on schedule which meant that all we had to do was sit back and enjoy! read more

I booked Bliss due to all the great reviews and our group also had a wonderful experience. Damon was easy to work with when planning and Ryan was a great driver. Hiring Bliss made our Napa trip so enjoyable!!! read more

Very professional and interesting commentary. A great wine tour. Not cheap but worth it.

Myself and 4 girlfriends decided to plan a bucket list trip to Napa. A business contact of mine was headed out to Napa before myself and said he had booked a day with Bliss Wine Tours. I didn't have any other recommendations, so I went for it and sent the owner an email. Within a week or so he had provided me with a suggested 2 day winery tour itinerary based off of the groups' preferences for wine. Since this was my first trip, I said "I trust you, book em!" Boy - I had no idea what a treat we were in for. Every single stop, every single sip of wine just exceeded my expectations. I'm still dreaming of this trip and can't wait to go back. Last, but most certainly not least...I want to give a huge shout out and much appreciation to our driver, Gary. What a heck of a guy! He put up with 5 of us 30 something females who thoroughly enjoyed imbibing wine at each stop and sang 90's pop music at the top of our lungs pretty much anytime we were in the car! He was so knowledgeable about the area and, of course, about wine. He is well respected and known by all of the wineries we stopped at. We were lucky to have such an easy going gentleman taking care of us! Can't wait to come back and hire Bliss again!!! read more

The Best Way to Find Unique Wineries in the Napa Region! Had a fantastic tour with Gary and would definitely recommend using Bliss Wine Tours. They were easy to work with, helped us find really cool smaller wineries and were professional and fun. Gary had great knowledge of the region and couldn't have been a nicer guy to spend the day with. I will definitely use them again if I am up in the area. read more

Where to start? We were a group of loud, energetic, and sassy LA & New Yorkers... and eager to drink all the vino Napa had to offer. Damon and his services were phenomenal. He picked us up promptly and had the day planned out. He often had to wrangle us all as the day progressed (wine on wine on wine) and he did so with ease and patience. Every time we jumped back into the car, there were fresh bottles of water and snacks waiting to soak up the alcohol. He was personable, knowledgable, and downright awesome. Highly, highly recommend Bliss Wine Tours and Damon. If you are visiting the Napa Valley area and want to enjoy it to the fullest without the worry of planning, Bliss Wine Tours is the way to go... He even put up with our antics as depicted in below photo (4 wineries deep at this point) read more

If you read my past reviews of wine tours, you'd see that we used a few companies that we really liked. The last we used, however, was less than stellar and since then we've been hesitant on using/trying another one. We have tried semi-private and group tours and all have been wonderful, but during our last trip to Napa, we decided to go private. Upon searching both yelp and tripadvisor, one company caught our eye, and when we called to inquired, it was a new business ran by our favorite tour guide, Damon! (See past review for Beau) My husband and I couldn't be any happier! Damon was able to take us on yet another tour - customized to our liking, of course! We visited one of our "musts" in Napa and as usual, Damon had great recommendations as well - and not just of wineries, but restaurants and local spots to boot. I can't say enough great things about Bliss that hasn't already been said. All I know is that we will definitely visit Napa on the regular, and Bliss is the only company we will ever use! read more

Damon was an awesome person to do business with and our Driver, Gary was knowledgeable and polite. He kept us on track, went to the selected wineries with no delays or problems. Water and snacks abundantly available. Gary told us about the wineries we would be visiting and about the history of many places along the way. We had been on wine tours many years ago, but it wasn't anything like this tour! I highly recommend calling Damon to set up your day. He stayed in constant contact with us with many details we requested with various wineries we chose. Call Bliss Wine Tours and leave the rest to them! read more

It is a very rare occasion where I say to myself, "I wish yelp had 10 stars", this is one company that would get all 10. We've been a fan of Damon for many years, prior to starting Bliss, he had taken us around Napa before, so when it was time to head back to paradise, Damon was my first call and I was pumped to hear he started his own tour company. We've experienced many wine tours, in Napa and other regions, we travel for wine. Most of the time I feel that the tour companies try and sway you towards certain vineyards for the wrong reasons, they listen to your suggestions but provide itineraries that they like. That's great if done for the right reason, that the wine is amazing, sadly that is not always the case. Then, there is Damon and Bliss Wine Tours, sure it helps that he knows Napa in and out, sure it helps that he has a culinary background, sure it helps that everybody loves him, but his best quality, in my mind, is that every time we see him he can't wait to share his passion and excitement for the region. Our exchange usually goes like this: Me - We are headed your way, I'd love to hit blank, blank and blank and then I'd love a small winery and something really special. (You can see I am very descriptive.) Damon - Awesome, just give me the dates you are here. I'll book your tastings at blank, blank and blank, let's talk about your other requests...I know of a small family run vineyard, the person pouring your wine will have the same last name as the label...something special, hmm, right now it is (insert seasonal event, harvest, planting, etc.) such and such has an amazing tour/tasting right now. If that works for you I can set it up and if we have time, we can pop into a more casual winery on the way back. Also check out these menus, I'll pick up lunch for you. (Then Damon goes to describe everything new that we should see and do since our last visit.) Me - Go for it, sounds great, you are the chef, whatever you recommend for lunch works. We can't wait! Then on the tour day, Damon arrives promptly in his shiny new ride, is a true professional and proceeds to explain the day, whether a novice or connoisseur, Damon can speak your language. You arrive at your first vineyard and the staff greet Damon as if their long lost child has returned, everybody knows and loves him, which often results in something "special" at the tasting. There are never any surprises and the day goes off without a hitch, every winery Damon has recommended has been so great that I think we've joined all their clubs. Traveling through Napa with Damon is like having a wine guru friend who is in the business and will take you around to all the hidden gems that don't often make it out of Napa. The day wraps with Damon giving you something mind blowingly awesome that he "happened to bake last night". We had chocolate truffles last time that were out of this world. A few days later when you are all sad and miserable to be home, you get an email from Damon with some photos he took, it is the perfect way to relive your time in the valley. I truly cannot say enough great things about Damon and Bliss Wine Tours, I'd keep writing but I need to get back to work so I can afford my next trip to Napa! read more

Damon is extremely knowledgeable about the Napa area and created an awesome itinerary for a day out in wine country. Unfortunately due to the recent fires, we had to cancel our day out because of air quality. However, I wanted to write a review anyway because Damon was so accessible and flexible during the planning process and the proposed itinerary really was exactly what we wanted. We hopefully will be rescheduling soon! read more

This company was recommended by an owner of a huge company that was booked up. Bliss was given a personal recommendation stating that I couldn't go wrong with Damon...and he was so right! Damon was helpful before we even got out to wine country. He was able to pull some strings for a free tasting for 6 of us! Aside from going the extra mile before hand recommending wineries, he pays attention to details! He had bottled waters for all of us, took pictures of us throughout the day, and fit in perfectly with our group! Timing was perfect, and he even extended his day a little to help us out. So not to be too much of a walking advertisement, but Bliss wine tours made our first time to wine country an amazing time to remember! We will call you up next year!! read more

I cannot say enough great things about Bliss Wine Tours. We spent 2 days with Damon and it was fantastic. The first day he picked us up and had 3 amazing wineries and lunch planned. The second day was another 3 fantastic wineries, lunch and he drove us back to San Fransisco so we could get on a flight that night. He picked the perfect amount of large wineries and small, family owned tours. We saw everything from a mass produced winery to being in the wine makers living room tasting his wines. I would highly recommend Damon if you are looking at a Napa trip. I have done a wine tour in Oregon and several tours in Italy and Damon was definitely the best. read more

We have twice had an opportunity to be hosted by Damon and Bliss Wine Tours in Napa. On both occasions Damon has been outstanding. We have been treated to a flawless itinerary, fantastic wines, a packed, but leisurely day, and, most importantly, a friendly, knowledgeable guide. You will not be disappointed in Damon and Bliss Wine Tours! read more

If you want a real Napa experience and go to small wineries off the main path, Damon is the way to go. He took us to 4 wineries that we would have never found ourselves and had very intimate tastings. All the wineries were amazing and small producers where you could only get the wine from them. After learning what types of wines and wineries we like, he set up all the appointments and we didn't have to do a thing. He was on time, had plenty of water and took lots of pictures throughout the day. It was truly memorable. read more

We had an awesome day with Damon! He picked us up early on a Saturday, and had the day all planned out. Since we were in from out of town, we knew little about which wineries would be worth our while. He picked out really awesome places with great wine and great scenery. As we drove from vineyard to vineyard, Damon had a cooler packed with water and some snacks for us. He was also very knowledgeable about the Napa Valley area and its history. Most of all, Damon is just a cool guy that is easy to get along with and talk to. I will surely recommend Damon and Bliss Wine Tours to anyone I know that is traveling to Napa. I can't wait to get back out there for another trip! Thanks Damon! read more

We have used Bliss Wine tours twice now and will be using them again next weekend. They are easy to engage and communicate with and very responsive via e-mail. They take care of all the scheduling and set up your agenda for the day. They took away the worry and fuss so we could enjoy our day with our friends. They even take digital pics of you and your group throughout the day and e-mail them to you after your trip. We have used numerous tour companies, but Bliss is, by far, the best. If you're looking for a day of wine tasting you should definitely contact Bliss! read more

Damon was amazing! He planned our winery itinerary including lunch everyday, he took photos to document our travels and he was a great tour guide! He is very easy to work with! My best friend and I had planned a very impromptu trip to Napa and were able to snag Damon for a last minute day of wine tasting just the night before. I gotta say this has been one of the better chance meetings ever because he is just the best! He asked about what our tastes were, had great recommendations for wineries (we loved every one he suggested and some were places we definitely would not have stopped at on our own), and he had such a fun and friendly personality that was so easy to get along with. We loved him so much we came back a few months later for a whole weekend, and again Damon was just on it. I can't say enough about how exceptional this guy is at what he does. I am definitely going to be calling Damon first and foremost the next time I make plans to visit the Napa/Sonoma area. I very highly and strongly recommend this guy for your wine touring (two thumbs up)! read more

My husband and I had never been to the Napa area before and had Damon plan a day for us. It was AMAZING! We really like the variety in places he chose and felt we learned a lot about wine and also enjoyed ourselves in a leisurely setting at all the stops. Our group comprised of grandparents, parents and tweens, and Damon managed to pull off a fabulous day for us all! The schedule he put together for us was sensitive to all of our needs (limited walking, engaging for the kids), and he quickly adapted the itinerary when our timing changed during the day. We loved the wineries he suggested, and also his company during our traveling time. One of the highlights of our California road trip! read more

Damon planned and arranged our visit to three wineries and made reservations for lunch. He picked us up at our house as scheduled and kept us on schedule the remainder of the day in order to keep our appointment times. Damon is a very knowledgeable and pleasant guide. He makes you feel relaxed right away. The choice to leave all of the decisions up to him regarding which wineries to visit was the correct one; all of them were excellent. Each location was unique and somewhere we would not have known about had he not introduced us to them. We will contact him again to set up more visits on our next trip to Napa/Sonoma. read more

Bliss Wine Tours set up the perfect day for my wife and I to enjoy Sonoma. I gave Damon the reigns to book our tours and lunch and he coordinated the entire day. All I had to so was let him know where to pick us up and generally what type of wineries we preferred. Damon came through with the perfect day and even managed and course corrected whenever we stayed too long at one place. Bliss is fun and friendly with full professional service.
