I'm pretty familiar Avon but Bela Vida is located away from all the other attractions, right next to a small fitness club. Bela Vida is such a beautiful space, there's positive words right outside the door. The beautiful plants all over the space made me want to stay. The natural materials made this place comfortable and relaxing. The menu of teas and protein shakes is the size of the whole wall. I decided to go with the Dirt Cake Lean & Fit Shake. I got mine in a medium size, which was a pretty generous size, and I realized I could have gone with a small. This was pretty chocolatey, but I could tell there was protein powder as the base. Well I knew what I was getting, so I wasn't so let down by the after taste. I will say this was my breakfast and lunch today. It was very filling and decently tasty. What I enjoyed a lot more than the shake it's self, is the space and the environment. It is a great space to be alone or with friends. I enjoyed reading parts of the book The Astrology of You and Me, they had on the little table. And the background music was a great counterpart. I plan to return here in the future and try something else.

Was out and about with the girlfriend and was looking for a place to have a bit of a snack. Found a…read moresmoothie snack not too far away from a coffee shop we decided to try. Place is very open, a single waist high counter and blenders. Ladies are friendly and knowledgeable in all the different boosted teas they offer. Not a tea person, so I opted for a protein shake. The tea was strong, tart but the fruit flavors were not strong enough to step on the green tea flavor. The protein shake was grainy but had a good flavor. Creamy, cold, and thick. They do topping as well but I opted against adding it. Price is on par for a shake place. They also have oat balls and other misc snacks. It's a pretty decent shake, and a very good tea place. A good option for tea if you're in the area.

I enjoyed my açaí bowl! It was very fresh and sweet. The only downside to my experience was the…read morecustomer service. The cashier was not very kind and rolled her eyes when I asked her to repeat herself (I couldn't hear through the mask and plexiglass). I work in customer service, so I always make it a point to be VERY kind to the workers--especially women, who are taught to be apologetic! However, it was a challenge when she also told me they weren't making milkshakes that day. She said, "No. We're not doing those," and proceeded to roll her eyes again. It's not about what you say--it's about HOW you say it. Additionally, the service took a long time. I felt really bad for the cashier because she was the only one working, which meant my order took about 20 minutes to make. She was balancing two other transactions as well... I remained patient but left feeling a little disrespected. I completely understand the pain & stress of being in customer service, but you shouldn't take it out on others. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but I was hurt by her demeanor (I felt like I had to apologize just for being there). Anyways, the bowl was yummy and filling, so it boosted my mood immediately. I got the U-N-I-T-Y bowl and ate it outside. Very refreshing! I also got a banana smoothie. It was pretty bland, but luckily I was full from the açaí bowl. I would come here again. Now that I know the vibe, it's no big deal!

I was kinda full so I offered my fiancé to have his choice of smoothie. He went with the Berry Banana Bliss, which is an apple cider base with berries and bananas. There was a sign saying that all their items are made from scratch and can take up to 15 mins to prepare.. I suspect that may apply more towards the açaí bowls. Luckily we received our drink (with a jumbo Yelp straw), a few minutes later. I thought the drink was nice and refreshing but a bit on the sour side. Would love to try their other flavors, like chocolate covered strawberry, in another visit!

We wanted lunch nearby so turned to Yelp. We found Sweetwater Juice Bar & Deli, quick drive and great reviews. We were lucky to meet the owner Mark Schand who told us the back story of all the creatively named smoothies on the chalkboard. We ordered smoothies with great add-on options and some had salad while others had wraps. All 6 of us loved it so much we ordered smoothies to go for later or to share with family. (My mom loved that I brought home a great drink for her!) I hope you make an effort to experience it yourself.

It was 100 degrees out today, what's better then a refreshing açaí bowl? The menu at Liquid Nirvana is extensive, and everywhere you turn there are additional menu items. In addition to açaí bowls, there are juices, smoothies, salads and wraps available. I got the Tropical Paradise Açaí Bowl. The base is made of açaí, almond milk, pineapple, mango, banana and blueberries. It was topped with granola, pineapple, banana, coconut and honey. This was so fresh! I could hear the blender running as the girl, blended everything for me. There's no freezer burn here. It was cold, fresh, and so delicious! I also think $11.00 is a great value. I once paid $17 for an açaí bowl on my travels somewhere, the portion was tiny and it was far from fresh. Liquid Nirvana offers delicious, fresh, high quality products from a large assortment of organic fruits and vegetables.

They have an Asian flair to the entire menu, so expect to see Banh Mis, Mochi Donuts, Taiwanese Chicken, Vietnamese and Saigonese coffees, matches, Ube (Filipino purple yam) flavorings, and Croffles. Croffles? WTF is a Croffle? Well, it's a hybrid of a croissant and waffle from South Korea and became a worldwide sensation around 2020 or so. So of course, I had to try my first Croffle. They are sold as a plain treat, or glammed up with syrups, crushed bakery goods, fruit or marshmallows. I went with an Original Classic Croffle ($5.50) and a small cup of iced Vietnamese coffee ($7). The Croffle was a bit chewier than I expected but was tasty and reminded me more of a waffle than a croissant. My iced Vietnamese coffee was superb, with tons of flavor and hints of chocolate. It was sweet and decadent. On the way out I picked up two more croffles -a chocolate and a Nutella and they ended up as our after dinner desserts the next few days. This ended up being a pretty interesting stop, and unlike any coffee shop I can remember.
