I visited with a friend and upgraded to the Deluxe Spa Pedicure while she received the basic pedicure. I chose the upgrade because I was told it would take 45-60 minutes and expected a more relaxing, spa-like experience. Unfortunately, my service lasted only about 33 minutes and ended just a few minutes after my friend's basic pedicure. While the service included the advertised extras, everything felt rushed. The paraffin treatment was done during the massage, the towels were barely warm, and there wasn't much opportunity to relax and enjoy the experience. I also didn't care for being tapped on the foot when it was time to reposition. If you're considering the Deluxe Spa Pedicure for extra relaxation, pampering, and time to unwind, I don't feel the upgrade was worth the additional cost. (3 stars) read more

Today I went to this particular salon because initially the environment was very clean and welcoming. However upon my manicure, I felt neglected and mistreated by the woman doing my nails named "Jay". I mentioned I'd had a stroke and due to that I am not able to completely relax my hands (which hasn't been a problem anywhere else before), and she proceeded to man handle me after I'd already told her she hurt me. In addition to all of that, I asked her a question, got ignored. I broke one of my nails and requested for them all to be even and she did not want to add a tip to my nail to do so. Not to mention, one hand was square and the other hand was round, after mentioning this multiple times. I took my niece with me for a pedicure and was shocked how rushed I felt. They had a timer next to them trying to beat the clock. There were several empty chairs, yet these 2 techs actually cleaned out the bowl & added a new liner while we were still in the chair! It was less than 20 minutes from start to finish. The first time I came in to the shop, they put my feet in cold water instead of warm or hot water. My nail polish was blotchy and it chipped off within the week. I decided to give them another chance and I came in and everything was pretty good until I went to pay. I asked for the regular pedicure which was $35 and when I went to pay, they charged me 10 more dollars for callus remover and $1.50 to use my credit card. So my $35 purchase ended up being $46.50 instead of a reasonable five dollar up charge for the callus remover like everyone else does in the state of Arizona. Absolutely ridiculous. They charged me for the upgraded pedicure instead of what I asked for. Price gouging. unfortunately, would not recommend this business. read more

This place is disgusting. They don't properly clean their tools years of dirt and dust grime built up everywhere an infection sest pool waiting to happen. I've come to Bliss a couple times now and I honestly don't think I'll be back. I had a fill and removal previously and the fill was fine, but the removal was awful. I had the older man for the removal and this full set. He's rude and aggressive and makes me uncomfortable. I specifically scheduled this set with a different technician, but when I got to my appointment they stuck me with him. This is exactly a week since my appointment and my nails are lifting at the cuticle, snagging on my hair, and the polish is already worn off at the tips. He also made my thumbs and pinkies crooked and I don't have crooked fingers. This technician doesn't seem to care about the quality of his work and it's disappointing and not worth $100. read more

I'm really disappointed in the service I got today. I came in to get nails done for my wedding and I asked for a round shape full set that was short and they are so long. I told her twice to go shorter and then gave up and now have to file them at home. My wedding is friday! Probably the best pedicure I've had in a long time! I always go to A2Z or Winn but I needed someplace open by 9:00am and found Bliss close by and open. Although there were already lots of people waiting before me, I still walked right in and got the best service. I loved that they handed me a book of colors instead of having to look through hundreds of mail samples or polish's on the wall. I liked the ipad at the massage chair with the list of services and pricing. And I was in heaven when it all ended with my feet wrapped in paraffin wax! I've found my new spot for sure! read more

I took my sister for Mother's Day because she wanted to go somewhere with good nail designs, but the bill they left us with?! 1. One Full Set with design 2. One Full Set with removal and design (the removal and replacement of my set of nails wasn't even necessary. I hadn't even had one refill done on my nails yet. They weren't old or damaged. But the lady said I needed a new set) They charged us $95 each! What?! A gel full set is $51 on their website. Are you telling me it cost another $44 to remove a set of nails and do a design?! I had one of the worst experiences at this nail salon. The nail tech handed me a bowl of acetone and a cotton ball and told me to get to work removing my dip powder nails. I jokingly asked if I got a discount for doing her job for her. The tech ignored me and was on her phone the entire time. I finally removed it, and then had to keep my arms elevated while she completed my nails(shredding my cuticles in the process). I was then told I could head to the back for my pedicure. I declined, and got the heck out of there. This salon is dirty, the staff is unfriendly, and I would not recommend it in any way. I give this salon a 1 star because you can book an appt. on line, which I like. But it was a waste of money. First let me say I have good toenails - no fungus, not thick, etc. The lady did 1 clip per toe then 2 light swipes with an emery board. Put cuticle cream on and barely pushed back my cuticles. I told her she was being too gentle. Nothing to really clip because she hadn't really prepared my cuticles. I paid extra for callus removal. I just have dry feet , not really calluses. She did fair on that. I asked her to trim 2 toe nails that were left too long with sharp edges. She did but not happily. She only said hello to me and put feet in water. Nothing else - although she talked and laughed with every other co worker in a language I can't speak. Rude - at $1 / hr I don't need her to talk to me but don't be socializing the whole time with your coworkers. I don't do polish - just want to keep my feet healthy. Guess I'll turn myself into a pretzel and take care of them myself. read more

The ladies who did our manicure/pedicure were rude and the farthest thing from friendly. The nail tech scrubbed so hard on my big toe she made me bleed. It still hasn't healed completely and it's been a week. I asked for gel polish and she got that wrong and gave me regular polish.
