Dr. Permack was extremely kind, patient, and attentive. He took the time to run a number of tests on my eyes and make sure I was completely satisfied with the final prescription he prescribed. I also really appreciated that Dr. Permack paid attention to my family's ocular history and ensured that he ran a cornea mapping exam with some fancy new equipment he had! What most impressed me with Dr. Permack was that he was able to teach me how to put in contact lens and found me a type that I really liked. I've been resisting contacts for years now, and was so surprised when he was able to give me a pair of contacts that I could barely feel and actually could see through! Firstly, I can appreciate them being able to accommodate students and will give a discount for their eye exams in order to help us out. Secondly, they are 100 percent up front with everything and why they do what they do. Secondly, they have this machine that takes a picture of the inside of your eye which I've never seen before. Dr. Tang showed me the inside and which parts did what and it was soooooo interesting to me. Not everyone decides to have that level of transparency and make an effort into making a rapport with their clients. Stella was really great in recommending some lenses for myself that will help me in being able to combat the blue light that gets emitted from screens since I am constantly on the computer due to my school and my job. She was really interested in explaining everything to me. I love the fact that I can get all my documents emailed to me. My prescription, invoice and everything I need for insurance purposes will always be on my phone and computer when I need it. I'll see them in a few weeks to get my glasses since I'm waiting for some other insurance to kick in. But I wouldn't recommend anyone else for an eye exam, they're seriously amazing.

Staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable - overall, a very pleasant experience, thank you :) During the comprehensive eye examination, I got my pupils dilated. Be sure to bring a pair of sunglasses with you if you're driving - you will be sensitive to lights! Or you can purchase a fashionable pair in their dispensary. The clinic carries a great selection of brand name eyewear and sunglasses! We also did something called Optomap wide-field retinal scan, which carefully and thoroughly checks the inside of the eye for any hidden eye diseases, monitors suspicious areas and changes from year to year, and confirms that everything is healthy! During the visit, I also learned that Dr. Tang specializes in contact lens wear, LASIK consultation, and Ortho-K (AOK) overnight corrective contact lens for myopia control in children. You can also make an appointment online anytime using their real-time schedule - very convenient and easy to use. Thank you Dr. Tang for making sure my eyes are healthy and for giving me advise on how to maintain/improve my current eye health and vision with your expertise. During the pandemic, when retinal surgeons were hiding from the big bad corona while optometrists and dentists did their jobs, she advocated for me fiercely, and I obtained the necessary laser surgery to spare my retina from a full detachment. She is amazing and I owe her my sight. Recently I had the chance to bring my small 20-month old son in for his first eye exam. And she was terrific with him as well. Not to mention that when i had an emergency visit recently, her staff and a whole host of wonderful women entertained him whilst dada was having his eyes probed dilated and prodded. I can't fulll express how grateful I was for their kindness. I can only speak at one remove about the other doctors in the practice, but please visit and trust your eyesight to talented and generous doctors. Your eyes (and hearts) will thank you.
