Maryanne, the Bling Witch, was highly recommended to me. Everything about her online portfolio suggested that this business and individual were first class.
However, that was not my experience.
I went to her three weeks ago Friday with an order for three shirts with specific designs and wording. She took the order, and took photos of the designs I needed and said they would be ready and completed by the following Friday. Advanced payment was made.
Seven days went by and I did not hear from her. I contacted her and was informed that she hadn't started my order yet.
Since I needed one of the shirts for an event that night, she agreed to do a rush-job on it, and did so. The final result was acceptable, but she posted pictures of it on Facebook and Instagram before she ever let me know it was finished.
At that time, she promised me that the other shirts would be ready by the next Friday at the absolute latest.
Another seven days passed and still no word. I called her on Friday, and she said that she hadn't gotten to them yet, but she promised she would do them the very next day (Saturday), and she would contact me as soon as they were finished.
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday passed with no word from Maryann.
This morning (Tuesday), I contacted her via text and asked when they would be ready. She replied they would be done sometime tomorrow (Wednesday) between 10am and 6:30pm.
Later this afternoon, she sent me a photos of of the shirts; not only they did not have the correct designs on them, but the wording incorrect. In short, they were unusable.
When I pointed this out to Maryanne, her response was "Which other Design? I may have gotten confused. OMG, I lost that picture!"
At this point, I decided that this had gone on long enough. Not only had Maryanne repeatedly failed to keep her word as to the readiness of my order, but when she finally made the effort the work was not as specified and the end result was useless.
And to add insult to injury, when I told her that I'd had enough and wanted my money back, she TEXTED me a photo of her stores return policy, stating that no refunds would be given.
I cannot begin to state how angry and dissapointed I am with The Bling Witch. Her work might look great on the internet, but her business practice and ethics are substandard.
I do not recommend Maryanne, the Bling Witch, to anyone. read more
