What I left with was a chemical war zone on my scalp and hair that looked like it had been through a haunted car wash. The stylist completely botched my color. It was patchy, uneven, and flat-out fried. I looked like a spaghetti squash that had been left out in the sun. Worse. I went back to give them a chance to fix it and it somehow got even worse. The stylist acted like they had never seen a toner in their life and honestly seemed like they were not in a sober state to be handling bleach or scissors or any other living creature for that matter. I ended up going to another salon just to undo the damage and they were horrified at what had been done to my hair. After spending over six hundred dollars and enduring two appointments from hell, my hair is still damaged beyond repair. Think straw with commitment issues. Do yourself a favor. If you value your hair, your time, or your dignity, run in the opposite direction. This place should come with a warning label and a fire extinguisher.

This Hair "Boutique" came highly recommended by a colleague at work as a highly qualified stylist capable of doing the crochet style that I was looking for. I have very fine and thin hair that requires using a net and double knotting each twist to ensure the twists stay secure. I tried to explain this to Monet, the owner and only stylist employed at this salon, but she informed me that she would use neither. The end result looked great but three twist fell out before I even made it home. Subsequently the entire front section fell out by the end of the night. I called her the next day to see of she could redo it the way I asked her to to begin with. After trying to reach her several times throughout the next day she never returned any of my calls. On the third day she texted me saying that not only would not repair the section which fell out but was also not willing to continue to be my stylist and that I should find someone else. I tried in vain to contact her so we could discuss her response but she refused to return my calls or texts. So if that wasn't unprofessional enough I stopped by her shop so I could show her how he twists were continuously slipping out, and here's the kicker: SHE CALLED THE POLICE ON ME AND ASKED THEM TO ESCORT ME FROM THE PREMISES FOR HARASSMENT!! My Mom was left in the shampoo bowl for over an hour, but everyone was too busy to notice. The young girl who washed her hair soaked her from her neck to her waist, and didn't even notice. After telling Tori about it becoming a bad experience, she became extremely argumentative and yelled at her. My Mom left in tears and was extremely embarrassed. When using the restroom, getting ready to leave, she overheard Tori and the staff bad-talking her. A partial foil took over 5 hours and she didn't even get a haircut, because Tori was too preoccupied. My Mom just wanted to leave. The owner saw my Mom's survey reply and offered a vague resolution, but my Mom would clearly never return to a place that made her feel so belittled and unseen. Tori - does in fact have good hair-coloring skills, but she needs to work on her customer service and not Instagram. I wasn't going to write this, but since she decided to post the reels of my Mom's hair on Instagram after my Mom left, I felt it was warranted. Best of luck on your salon, but good hair-coloring skills aren't the only thing needed for a client to have a successful experience.

I've been with her for over 15 years, so why not follow her. The reason I like Cate so much, is that she hand scissors my hair and only uses a clipper to trim up my neck line. So many stylist use clippers with attachments when doing a mans hair and I do not like that. To get a quality cut, my hair has to be cut with scissors. Why I said it was a primo location, it is located next to Louie and Sasha's, so you can have lunch or go to a relaxing Happy Hour. On the other side, you've got Kaldi's for a good cup of coffee.
