I have purchased blinds in the past for my bathroom and needed to get a blind for my living room. I called and spoke with Janette, who was so helpful and informative. I gave her my number and said I would be in Sunday.On Saturday she sent me a text stating that she is happy to help me. I decided to go over on Saturday and she was beyond FABULOUS! Worst customer service. They use every trick in the book to force you to buy extra blinds. They make a ton of mistakes and don't own up to them. Worst experience ever. I felt like I had fraud committed against me. They bully you and charge you extra. The guy who hung blinds did a bad job and they are crooked. I dealt with an awful woman named Maria. I do not want to go into specifics, and I cannot speak to the whole company, I can only speak to the Norwalk Connecticut store. Their employees are inept, they do not know their products, and their customer service at that store is beyond horrible. I bought the shades in October of last year, of course you had to pay upfront so from October until April of this year 2023 they had my money and they finally reimbursed me in April. I ordered custom blinds from Blinds to Go and paid extra to have their team execute measurement and installation to ensure a proper fit. After all that, the blinds do not fit and do not look nice. I have reached out to the store and corporate to get this remedied, to no avail. I would never ever shop here again and recommend you find anywhere else to purchase window treatments. read more

We made an appointment for measuring for some plantation shutters, the appointment for running about 2 1/2 weeks out That's a long wait but we decided to go with it. I left work early to come home for my 4 o'clock appointment, waited until 430 and then called Customer service, I was on hold for over 30 minutes. They finally and came back on the line and said he was not coming because he didn't feel well Do you have to be kidding me, I left work early for this and he didn't even have the courtesy to give me a call, I canceled my order read more

I was so excited to learn about window treatments from a professional but the customer service at this place was beyond horrendous. It's almost like they don't want to sell their products. Horrible installation. We spent almost $6K on blinds for our house as well as shutters. Granted, the installation is done by a third party, but he has NO clue what he's doing. Left a mess all over our house that needed to be cleaned up the two times he had to come to our house (didn't finish the job the first day because he was three hours late and ran out of time). Three blinds have already fallen down, and installation occurred less than a week ago. He dented one of our shutters and instead of telling us about it he covered it with cheap silicone putty to hide it. I cannot make this up. Also brought black screws to install white shutters and again, attempted to cover with cheap white silicone putty. Blinds To Go has still not rectified the situation and we are now stuck with three broken blinds and cheap looking shutters that we paid A LOT of money for. We will be contacting corporate to AVOID!!! Updated: To add, they attempted to rectify the situation, however, the blinds continue to fall apart. In addition, an alternate installer was here today to install the shutter that the last installer damaged, and he left an OPEN (blade out) boxcutter on my ottoman (why would you put it there?) where my 11 month old son is learning to walk in the living room and left my house without it. I'm thankful I noticed it before my son did, as babies do love shiny objects. read more

I rarely write reviews but the staff at this location were ridiculously helpful and didn't even accept my money. I can't even. I bought a house that came with ~20 blinds that were purchased 13 years prior, but most were missing the hardware necessary to attach the blinds to the windows. A few of the blinds had a "Blinds-To-Go" sticker. So I went to the nearest Blinds-To-Go location (this one). Four people immediately got on the case; tried the hardware for the current version of these blinds (Sonata) which didn't fit. Then went through old catalogs, and called several people and then a warehouse, until they identified what I needed. The next question was: how many? And though I had brought one of the blinds, I had not counted how many I had! No problem, my personal platoon of blind super heroes went searching through the archaeological records and found the original blind order that matched my address (from 13 years earlier!), ordered the hardware, and didn't charge me a thing. I am certainly going to go back for all my window treatments. You should too. read more

This is my second pair of blinds with them. I never had a problem with the blinds themselves. However, their customer service is LOUSY! The young man that serviced me in the Norwalk office--should not be in sales. He had an attitude, acted like I was bothering him and flat out made the whole buying experience unpleasant! Do they train their people? Only the lady in the store was nice and professional. I wish she had come to me first. This young man had a foul attitude all the way through--even when I came to pick up the blinds! Customers pay for--not just the blinds-- the entire experience. Their customer service people need an attitude adjustment! I can't recommend this location. read more

I have shopped at Blinds to Go in the past and have always been satisfied. But my last experience has soured me considerably. I purchased a set of vertical blinds based on the sample that was mailed to me. But when I put up the blinds, the fabric was a lot flimsier, resulting in the blinds not falling right and attaching to each other. When I sought their help in addressing the problem, they refused to do so, despite their supposed commitment to customer satisfaction. Instead I was told that the quality of their product was no longer as good as it used to be and I'd have to live with it. After sending them an email describing the problem, they came back to me with a supposed solution, which would cost me an additional $90. So much for customer satisfaction. read more

Godfrey and his team are great. My advice go in there on a weekday and you'll get taken care of right away. I ordered 10 blinds and all different sizes and styles...nothing was wrong. Took 2 days and the installer they recommended was great. He even came on a Sunday after I picked up the blinds on a Sat. I would recommend these guys again....and it's common sense. Stick with one sales guy, don't go during weekend peak hours and keep all your notes....you shouldn't have a problem. read more

Terrible! My husband and I went here on a Saturday afternoon to buy some simple shades for a sliding glass door. Overall, everything they had to offer was pretty cheap looking, although we didnt want to spend a fortune, so we picked out some plain shades. We came prepared and went over everything... colors, measurements, numbers of shades, manual vs cord, etc. Our order was complete and we were advised to simply double check our measurements and call back to confirm and they would place order. We called back the next day and it was almost like we had not even been there the days prior. Our order was there, however almost every component of it was incorrect. Our measurements were 1/4 of an inch off and we were told that this would increase the price. Also, we wanted a manual opening and were told thats not possible with these shades, however the day before it wasnt an issue. After choosing a center opening with the cord (which we didnt really want) we were told we would need more panels and therefore, it would cost more money. After lots of frustration, we cancelled the order. We asked for a copy of the credit to be emailed to us. Of course, we didnt get it because the email was incorrect, even though we received an email yesterday with the order. I called back the next day, only to speak wtih another person stating we had two orders! After clarifying with this person, the email we received was a copy of the initial order and was certainly not showing a credit of the 50% deposit we put down. This gentlemen, while patient, shared that is was busy Saturday or our order must have gotten "lost in the shuffle". You would think they would be prepared for a busy Saturday, as most people do errands that day. Overall, a frustrating experience and we dont even have new shades to show for it! read more
